Nothing short of amazing! Christin and Marki helped me put together my dream wedding, with everything I wanted... and within my budget! Their staff was on point and made sure we had everything we needed on our big day. The view and the food were both amazing. I loved the vendors included in the Platinum package (florals, cake/pastries, and linens), as it made things so much easier. When we arrived at the venue before our ceremony, Christin immediately went to get me and my bridesmaids a glass of champagne... its things like that you remember!

I had a wonderful experience working with the team at Orange County Mining Company. They were professional, affordable, and really worked with me to make my day what I imagined it would be. With a team of professional vendors who know the venue well, my day could not have gone any more smoothly. I would recommend OCMC for any bride who is looking for a fabulous location to have both a ceremony and reception.

OC Mining Co was a fabulous place to have our wedding reception. We had our ceremony at Oak Canyon Nature Center, and it was only a 10-15 minute drive for our guests to drive to the reception. We had a rustic yet classy wedding theme, and OC Mining Co made our ideas a reality. We had string lights hanging from the ceiling to add to the ambience. The restaurant allowed us to bring our own decorations, which was nice. The food was fabulous, and their event planner was easy to work with. Their staff was very friendly and they made the reception flow perfectly.

I recently had my wedding reception here and was very pleased with how everything turned out. Elizabeth took great care of me and accommodated me in many ways during the wedding planning process. She spent so much time communicating with me, and I felt like I was in good hands. I strongly recommend using them as a reception venue. They are a little pricey but the package includes cake, food, appetizers, centerpieces and linens. All in all I really enjoyed having my wedding here, and the views were absolutely gorgeous! The food was great, and they also accommodated me being vegan with a hearty risotto entree. The wedding reception turned out beautifully, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience!

I had my ceremony at the Orange County Mining Company on 7/19/14 and it ended up being the biggest mistake having my wedding there. We had the ceremony at 6 and purposely planned on being late because there is not a bridal room to get ready and I didn't want guests to run into me in the parking lot. But as soon as I got there I was constantly threatened that they were going to play the exit music at 7 even if we were in the middle of our vows because they had an event scheduled. It turned out that there "event" was the owner's sons birthday party. They started rolling out the bridal party even though not everyone was there including my dad who was in the bathroom. I was pleading with Angela to stop rushing it as she kept pushing the guests into the aisle when my maid of honor helped my dad out of the bathroom. It ended up being fine time wise and there was absolutely no reason to make me feel the way they did; it was a complete nightmare. They told me they would make sure the bridal party was taken care of with drinks and food while we took pictures but no one was around at all. They also said they would set up the tables for us but the day before they told me someone needed to come set it up if I didn't have a wedding planner. The food is usually good but that night the chicken was completely dry. They even dared to ID guests for the food, even the best man! The dj and staff were not at all in sync, for example, we would be standing around the cake while the music we picked out was being played and the server was out getting the utensils for ten minutes! The florist provided an extra bouquet for the cake toss and it was no where to be found during the event so I had to throw my $300 bouquet. WORST OF ALL: the next day we realized that nine cards were stolen, a value of about $900 since we requested cash. The GM supposedly interviewed all of the staff but I have no idea how that would help at all. They said that that is all they could do and they didn't even know what to do because they never had that problem before. Well after posting it on fb, we had two friends say they had the same problem. I know weddings are more about the guests than the bride but I cannot believe how much of a nightmare this day was. I couldn't wait to get out of there. I am very fortunate that I married an amazing man which made up for everything but it's terrible that two years of planning went down like that. Do not get married here, they promise they will take care of your big day and could not care less.

Our wedding reception went off without a hitch. The Reception room had been repainted, carpeted and updated along with the bathrooms. Everything looked amazing. The best part is they handle the food, flowers, linens and cake. We did Buffet and the food was amazing, our guest are still talking about it. The price is deffinately worth every penny.

The OC Mining Company provided the ideal backdrop for our rustic fall wedding reception. As for pricing, there were positives and negatives. Basic linens, cake and valet parking are included however other prices such as beverages are definitely in their favor. Be sure to read the fine print on all services fees, etc. They were also very good about allowing us to bring in our own decorations and modifying the room setup to our preferences.

This was perfect! !! The food was delicious all the guests were pleased. The view was amazing everything was set up beautifully. Angela was very nice. Everything was great. The servers and bartenders were very attentive and nice

Kristin & Angela were absolutely wonderful. They helped make my reception memorable. They had wonderful suggestions and options available to me. I had a lunch reception and they helped coordinate all of my reception details. My guests all raved about the food. we had the Angels Camp Room and the view was amazing. We were on a pretty strict budget and they helped by working with me on it to give me the best possible value.

you want an amazing wedding, even if you are on as budget, you want it with the Orange County Mining Co. Not only do they have amazing food, they also exceed in Customer Service. I had the pleasure of working with Angela and Christin for my wedding. Angela is very friendly and extremely helpful, as was Christin as well.  Both of them helped me so many times with questions that I had about the wedding that didn't even pertain to them. They go above and beyond what they are supposed to offer. The fees they charge are unbelievably fair. I will say you should always go platinum with them, the perks are worth it. What I love most is that they treated me and my small wedding as they would a large wedding. I didn't feel any less important because my wedding was small. The day of the wedding they made my venue look amazing. No one even knew I was a bride on a budget. They helped with all of my concerns and always updated me on any problems that may have arisen. The truth is that there were little to no issues at all. They made my wedding experience an enjoyable one. I planned my wedding by myself and it helped to have a venue that does everything for you.  I could go on and on about how much I loved this venue and the staff. My wedding day was perfect. I don't have any complaints but I do have high recommendations to use them for your wedding. Every one of my guests enjoyed themselves and raved about the food.
