OCMA was an amazing wedding venue to work at. Been in the industry for a number of years, we've DJ'd venues all across California but found OCMA to our favorite one yet. The staff was wonderful to work with and the acoustic sound that this venue was able to produce was astounding. Our couple had the night of their lives here. Definitely OC's hippest new wedding venue right now and a hidden gem that probably won't be hidden much longer.

This review is for the hiring and communication of the venue. The venue isn't open yet so I can't speak on how it goes but I can speak to the professionalism and responsiveness thus far. I chose this venue for its uniqueness. I was able to walk the site on a hard hat tour and so far it looks beautiful and the space is wide open on the third floor. I absolutely love the caterer (as it is already one of my favorite restaurants in Orange County). If you are looking for a venue that will be a once in a lifetime for most people, I highly recommend looking here. The architecture is beautiful and allowing guests to walk through galleries during cocktail hour will give my wedding the extra pizzazz I was looking for.

Designed by Pritzker Prize-winning architect Thom Mayne of Morphosis Studio – OCMA is the architectural gem of Costa Mesa. UC Irvine Langson Orange County Museum of Art offers a dynamic space to entertain your friends and family against the unique backdrop of a contemporary art museum. The Level 2 event space can host the wedding ceremony and reception celebration you've always dreamed of. This expansive yet intimate space highlights the building's stunning architecture, creating a unique and unforgettable experience to commemorate your life's milestone. The event space features an expansive floor- to ceiling sliding glass wall that seamlessly opens to the Upper Plaza and Sculpture Terrace. With a seated capacity of 150, the indoor event space pairs perfectly with the Upper Plaza. A reception of up to 500 people can comfortably mix and mingle on the terrace, showcasing ample space for dining, dancing, and a DJ. Here, you and your guests can dance the night away on the only rooftop terrace in Orange County! You'll enter the museum through an atrium filled with natural sunlight before exploring 25,000 square feet of art exhibitions. The exhibitions stretch across multiple floors, allowing the couple and their guests to interact within this unique and dynamic setting.
