The building is beautiful and unique, but the staff is what really puts it over the top. Megan P's support made me feel like I was her top priority, even though I know I wasn't her only client. She answered every email and phone call quickly and with a great attitude. Our wedding day was everything I wanted it to be, and that was in large part because of this special place. Our guests raved about the venue. If you are getting married in Orlando, do yourself a favor and book the History Center. You won't regret it.

that would allow us to bring our own alcohol. I was so happy we discovered the History Center as an option. I wanted a venue that was unique, that didn’t require a tremendous amount of decoration, and that had a beautiful indoor ceremony space. It was also the perfect location for us because our wedding was multi-phased. We had two opening receptions (hosted separately by bride & groom), followed by the ceremony, followed by private bride & groom time, followed by the reception, and all five “events” were held in five different perfect spaces within the building. We ended up using four different floors, not including the ground floor atrium where guests entered and departed. They really enjoyed going from spot to spot and all the different environments. The 1920s court room was gorgeous for the ceremony, and the next-door Jury Room was the perfect “gentleman’s room” for the groom’s reception. We worked with Taylor all the way through the process, and she was incredibly professional, kind, responsive and knowledgeable. She also had one of her event people, Dawn, who was there for our rehearsal and our entire wedding day, from set-up to clean-up, who was also sharp and friendly. We had 134 guests at our wedding, which I think was just the right size for the space.

lighting and ambiance in the reception hall brings in a more modern feel. There are countless picture opportunities both indoors and outside. The best part of having your wedding at the history center is the amazing customer service. Brittany was our coordinator, and she handled everything from calling vendors to get quotes for me to setting out favors and decorations day of. The staff at our wedding was so polite and always ready to help with whatever we needed, with smiles on their faces! There is a security officer outside who will ask passers-by to move out of the way for pictures, and the coordinator keeps track of your timing so the night runs smoothly. Everything was better than we could have ever dreamed!

t the weather might not allow for that. Sure enough, it was miserably hot and muggy the day of the wedding. Brittany from the History Center called about 4 hours before the ceremony and offered to move it inside for us. It was a fantastic option, and really saved our reception. The indoor reception space is a blank slate and easily transformed.
Secondly, Brittany from the History was absolutely amazing! Even on the wedding day, she was walking around with a purpose making sure everything went perfectly. We were taking wedding photos around the property and she was walking around asking people to temporarily move from the area so the pictures turned out great. She also made sure I always had water and that we were always happy. We couldn't have been happier with the History Center!

ing for the reception. You really can turn that room into any vision you have. It also comes with a lot of extras which made it an extremely affordable venue. It came with uplighting, dance floor, tables and chairs. For a little extra it comes with an entire day of coordination team! While there were some mistakes made on the coordinators part(a little miscommunication here and there) overall the service I received was top of the line and they went way out of their way to make my day perfect. I could really tell the team there cared about me, my groom, and our families. I would highly recommend this venue, its unique but still has a traditional feel.

saw the outdoor Heritage Square space again, I knew it was perfect. I began working with Brittany Andrews, who was wonderful to work with. She was my initial contact, worked with me throughout the 15 months of my engagement/planning period, and was my "day of" wedding coordinator as well. Brittany was always prompt in responding to my calls and emails, went above and beyond what I expected and was willing to put together all the "extra" DIY projects for the wedding that I made. I literally handed off an SUV trunk full of items that had to be arranged, placed, and assembled at the reception venue - and it was put together by Brittany and her team exactly as I wanted. I had a wonderful experience there, my wedding venue was beautiful and I owe so much of that to the staff I worked with!!

It was a big bonus that my guests never had tonleave the building tom enjoy our whole evening. Upstairs in the reception room, the lighting makes it individualized to any theme. My flowers did change hue with the lighting that we chose, but it still looked beautiful. The dance floor is big, and we did have so many people dancing that the ac had a bit of a problem keeping up. The best part of the history center is Georgiana the wedding coordinator. She was amazing tom work with, and very very accommodating to all of my questions. She made sure that everything was set up per my directions. It was a great venue for our wedding!
