hone, she reassured me my her gown from 1929 was in good hands. She explained the process of single gown cleaning by hand and the care given to each garment. She replaced all buttons which were gone and more than likely used on some other garment during the Depression Era of the '30's. She also explained the history of the original wax orange blossoms on my grandmother's veil. (Which I was unaware meant fertility) We no longer had my grandmother's veil after all these years, but Sally could tell from the pictures I sent her the history of orange blossoms. I was very impressed with her knowledge and history of fabrics and traditions. I would highly recommend Sally and her company. I may even end up sending her my First Communion dress to clean and preserve. Well done!

Both were returned repaired, soft and glowing white ready for a daughter’s June 2019 wedding day. dark orange steins on the dress that my Mom didn't notice when she had the dress initially preserved. Sally was very knowledgeable and advised us how those stains magically appeared and assured us she could get the stains out. Also, I wanted to alter the collar of my mom's dress and Sally was able to offer recommendations and her advice. My mom and I were ecstatic on how nice the dress came out! The dress looked brand new! The dress went back to its original color (ivory) with white lace. All the stains came out of the dress, and she offered to touch up the dress before my wedding if it was needed although sally advised she didn't think it would be necessary. I still appreciated the offer and I found her prices very reasonable compared to buying a brand new dress. I highly recommend Sally for any of your restoration needs. I was slightly nervous to give up my wedding dress to Sally, but she didn't let me down! I can't wait to wear the dress on my wedding day, and I will bring the dress back to her to preserve it again. When I dropped off my gown for cleaning/preservation, there were no visible stains at all, except for a little bit of dirt along the bottom hem, which is to be expected. She made a point of telling me how pristine my gown looked, so, this should have been a pretty easy job for them. When I came to her house to pick it up, the dirt along the bottom hem was cleaned nicely. However, I immediately noticed a small stain near where the bustle was pinned to the dress, which had not been properly cleaned. I pointed it out to her and she spot cleaned that while I was waiting. I tried to find out from her if there were any stains invisible to the eye that they had cleaned, or what had been done to the dress. She could not tell me any specifics. As she was putting the gown into the box, I was horrified to notice that cat hair had made its way into many layers of my ballgown (and it definitely wasn't from me because I don't have a cat). So she handed me a lint brush and had me clean the cat hair off the gown as she was folding it into the box. She claimed she didn't know how all the cat hair got on it. I know exactly how it did. She has a cat that walks right next to the dress when she has it all set up for viewing before you pick it up. I am an animal lover but, come on, I didn't pay hundreds of dollars to have your cat's hair all in my dress. So in conclusion, although Sally is a very nice woman, she couldn't tell me any specifics about what was cleaned on my dress, whoever cleaned the dress missed a very obvious spot near the bustle attachment, and my ballgown was basically covered in cat hair which she had me clean off myself. And by the way, I couldn't get all of it off so I'm sure it still has cat hair on it now.

an extremely intricate ruffle texture that had to be cleaned individually. I received quotes from other dry cleaners telling me it would take at least two, probably three months. Sally got the job done in under two weeks for a very reasonable price. Above all, holding a PhD in Art History, she treats every piece with love, care and precision- a trademark sign of someone in love with their craft and valuing her clients' relationships. She even followed up with an email including post-care instructions. I look forward to having this dress cleaned with her after my wedding, along with restoring other heirloom pieces!

When I picked up the dress Sally took her time packing my dress and veil and just reconfirmed I brought my dress to the right place. and I feel good about the packaging process. Also, if the gown is ever to be worn again, they have a guarantee with it. I believe it is that they will iron it for you? Anyway, there is some guarantee. My only complaint is that they charged me a $4 shipping fee. I didn't notice this fee until after I left (I picked everything up, nothing was shipped to or from the business in Connecticut.) They charge a higher price for silk than other fabrics. My Mom swears her gown isn't silk but I was told at Orange Restoration Labs that it is. I did get charged the higher price, but really didn't mind since their prices are more than competitive and I felt they did a good job.

Our photographer coaxed us into have a bit too much fun with the waves and sand which resulted in the dress gaining what felt like ten times its weight in sand and seawater. I thought the dress was ruined after taking it to a local shop who could jot get it cleaned. I rushed it over to Orange and they got it back super quick looking brand new. It was amazing!!

am very pleased with the results. When I went for inspection before the dress was packed, she let me look at the dress as long as I wanted and then spent at least 20 minutes packing it carefully in acid free paper and an acid free box. The box has two covers layered on top of each other: the inner one has a window so you can look at your dress whenever you want and the outter one covers the window to prevent light damage. Finally, if the dress should ever show damage from a spot missed in cleaning, she is part of a large network of cleaners that will reclean the gown at no cost. Though I doubt I'll ever need that service, it's nice to know it's available. I hope this helped!

abs did a truly remarkable job restoring the dress to it's original soft-white color, beads, lace, silk taffeta and all! The Princess Diana-like dress traveled from CT to Chicago, IL where it was redesigned and updated, though keeping 80% of the integrity of the dress. It is getting cleaned again and will be packaged away, hopefully to be taken out in 30 more years for my daughter or daughter-in-law to try. I cannot begin to tell you how many people commented on the veil. At least one of my daughter's friends asked if she could use it! We were so happy with Sally's work that we are going to bring the wedding gown, car grease and all, to Sally for cleaning. I know that no one could do a better job than what she'll do.
