I bought a sample sale dress for my wedding which needed a clean prior to the big day. As any bride knows, handing your dress off is extremely nerve-wracking, especially before the big day! Ernst did a wonderful job on my gown for my special day. He made a private appointment and thoroughly examined my dress noting all areas that required cleaning. He did such a great job that I then came back to him for both my wedding dress and veil cleanings and preservations. Ernst was exceptional, very kind and thorough and made for a great overall experience. I trust him and his team and highly recommend them to handle your wedding gown needs!

Wow. I am absolutely blown away. I ended up needing to purchase a sample gown because of an issue with my original gown with only a month to go before my wedding. The sample was very dirty with yellow stains under the armpits, dirt marks along the bottom of the dress and stains/indentations from all the times girls were clipped into the back of the dress. I brought my sample gown to Ernest at Orange Restoration Lab a week before my wedding in Europe and they completely revitalized my dress and turned it around so quickly. I was in shock when I opened the garment bag. My dress looked brand new - you would NEVER know it was a sample and certainly didn't look like it had ever been tried on before. I am so grateful to this team who did such great work on my dress. I am home from my wedding and bringing my dress to Orange Restoration Labs straight away to clean and preserve!! Thank you so much Ernest and team - you guys are amazing. Highly highly recommend!!

Norwalk truly has a gem of a business called Orange Restoration Labs! I came across this company from a google search after my local/trusted neighborhood cleaners frankly let me know that my mom’s vintage wedding gown worn circa 1981 would need particular care since the fabric is fragile and likely will not tolerate a regular cleaning process. I emailed ORL and Ernst responded promptly that same day and we were able to talk via phone & schedule my consultation appointment. I brought my mom with me at the consultation's and Ernst was very professional and handled my mom’s spit fire questions with compassion and ease (clearly understanding the sentiment driving some of her inquiries). Once my mom was at ease that I brought her gown to the right place, I left the precious heirloom of a gown in the care of Ernst and his team. Communication was very good throughout the process despite my gown being serviced during peak wedding season. Prior to pick up I got before and after photos of my gown, they restored both pearl beads on the gown as well as the entire gown to its original white color! My mom was speechless when I showed her the photos. Scope of work also included fixing the dropped lining of the dress and then preserving it in their acid free box. Ernst and team did an excellent job in restoring my vintage gown to its original glory! It was such a joy for me to see how beautiful the dress is/was when my mom wore it approaching close to 40yrs ago and look forward to giving it another tour down the aisle on my special day. I definitely recommend this business establishment, and it is definitely worth the investment and drive from Westchester, NY. The team and management of this business is superb! I have an elegant beaded dress from an Aunt who wore this dress in 1928. She gave it to me 50 years ago to lend to a major department store for a model to wear in a fashion show and I have had It ever since. They lovingly restored the tarnished beads back to their bright silver color and a fixed any that were loose. They cleaned and preserved a treasured family heirloom with masterful care and notified me through every process. I am very happy with the services provided and the excellent management and staff team.
