O'Reilley Floral Design

I could not have been happier with O'Reilley Floral Design. There are so many wonderful florists in the Cincinnati area and I feel lucky that I chose Ellie and her team! My wedding was interrupted by COVID so, we had the ceremony in February and the reception in July this year. Ellie and her went above and beyond to deliver the most gorgeous flowers for both occasions. I shared with her and her team inspiration photos and Ellie was able to bring EVERYTHING to life! My husband is Scottish and this team thought to add thistles to my arrangements and bouquet. Talk about thoughtful and meaningful - literally obsessed. Ellie and team were able to work with me too on my estimate to ensure we stayed organized and on track for both events. We invited almost 300 people and had 10 bridesmaids and 10 groomsmen so, there was a lot to tackle! Again, I could not have been happier with my experience! THE BEST OF THE BEST!

My experience with OReilley was anything but stress free. One of the perks of being a covid bride is dealing with the insane cost increases that occurred with the pandemic. My original estimate and quote were only 3 months apart and yet some how the cost doubled. Even the small arrangement I didn't even come up with doubled in price. I work in supply chain for a living so anticipated some change but a 100% cost increase didn't add up. After a couple of calls and multiple changes we were able to get it closer to a reasonable number but it meant weeks of waiting for a response from the team followed by frantic I need a response today emails from their team. At one point I called to remove my bridesmaid bouquets because my sisters wanted to go a other route and the owner called me crying... literally crying on the call because fake flowers are tacky and it is ruining the vision she had for my wedding.. I quickly just paid for my flowers because I didnt want to deal with her calling me crying at work. I paid that invoice so quick it wasn't until the next day I realized they didn't remove my 20% deposit from the invoice. this was quickly corrected but only because I caught it. Who knows if their team would have refunded me had I not figured that one out. Even more upsetting than the weird service I received from the team was the fact I sent multiple examples of the flowers I wanted for the cake and what was delivered was super disappointing. There were pink roses that weren't even in my bouquet or floral arrangements left for my baker to decorate with. Multiple guests commented on the strange floral arrangement on the cake. At the reception we started to just remove the flowers because they were so ugly but the baker only could use what was provided. All in all- my bouquet was pretty, my bridesmaid bouquets I was bullied into getting pretty, the centerpieces gorgeous, but as a bride the last thing you need is drama from the florist and sadly that is what I experienced

I was absolutely THRILLED with our wedding florals thanks to O'Reilley. Jayme was beyond helpful and made my entire vision come to life. I had a special request to attach my grandmothers' rings each of them gave me as a momento for our wedding day to the front of my bouquet, and she absolutely delivered. She was great with communication when a specific flower I wanted wasn't in season, she sent me several other options to choose from that would look great in my bouquet as well. She made every single bouquet and boutonniere look different than each other, which I also loved. She went above and beyond for our wedding, and I truly felt like we weren't just another customer to her. Would recommend O'Reilley Floral Design over and over again!

The meetings we had leading up to our big day were my favorite memories throughout the process and I genuinely looked forward to when I got to go meet with her and hangout in her beautiful shop. I could be feeling the most stressful weight of wedding planning, and I would go into that shop and hangout with her and talk about flowers for my big day, and by the time I left, I forgot that I was ever stressed to begin with. Throughout preparation for our big day, her open communication guaranteed that our vision would not only be wonderfully created, but honestly went above and beyond anything we could have ever dreamed of. We were truly blown away by how she perfectly, and I mean PERFECTLY, brought our vision to life. In addition to her gift of making the most beautiful and unique flower arrangements, she is genuinely an amazing and kind person that truly cares for each of her customers. She gives 500%—to every single want and detail. Throughout the planning process, I was able to get to know Ellie more personally and I can confidently say, one million percent, that when anyone chooses her for flowers—she takes every single clients need/wants and far exceeds all expectations. She will do anything and everything to guarantee that the finished product is EXACTLY what you wanted.
