Organic String Quartet made our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour absolutely unforgettable; we still get chills thinking about it! Hiring them was one of the easiest and best deci...
sions we made for the entire day.
They arrived early, took the time to rehearse with our church organist, and were incredibly warm and professional from the first email to the last note. We asked them to learn “Cornfield Chase” from Interstellar by Hans Zimmer (something completely new to their repertoire), and they performed it with such emotion and precision that it felt like the soundtrack was written just for us. Walking down the aisle to that piece, played live by these amazing musicians, is a memory we’ll treasure forever.
A little behind-the-scenes moment: while the groom and groomsmen were getting ready in the back room, someone’s phone alarm started going off like crazy. The quartet (who could clearly hear it through the walls) immediately started playing the softest, most beautiful filler music to mask the sound so it never reached the guests or disrupted the ceremony. We didn’t even know it happened until later; that kind of awareness and quick thinking speaks volumes about how much they care.
Alicia was an absolute dream to work with; responsive, patient, organized, and genuinely excited for us. She guided us through song selections and made the whole process stress-free.
If you want live music that will elevate your wedding to another level and musicians who go above and beyond in every way, look no further than Organic String Quartet. We feel so lucky we found them. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!
Organic String Quartet played at our wedding during the ceremony and the cocktail hour and it was a beautiful performance. In particular, my wife is a huge Depeche Mode fan and the...

from. Having Organic String play at our wedding was a transcending experience. Hearing our songs play during the processional really added to the specialness of the day. It was difficult holding back tears when the song of the bride started to play. The string quartet played beautifully. We reached out to QSQ because of their rendition of “Stay by Me” and really wanted to have them play it during the unity segment of the ceremony. We had a concern, about the music playing over the Officiant but Alicia was able to assuage our concerns and lay out options. In the end, we trusted her judgement on how to proceed. The result was a beautiful touch to the ceremony that elevated how we were feeling. Our guests raved about the quartet and how it added a perfect touch. We are thankful to QSQ and would highly recommend them for your next special event!

to the pandemic, and we very much appreciate the flexibility offered to us. The clear communication, understanding and kindness made the stressful (wedding during the pandemic!) situation more bearable and we are grateful to the Organic String Quartet for this experience! Alicia was a joy to work with. We are extremely happy and highly recommend the Organic String Quartet!!

eir repertoire and they accommodated us with no issues. They arrived dressed appropriately and really added a touch of class and refinement to our ceremony and cocktail hour. Everyone loved their beautiful execution of our song list. Our contact Alicia was very helpful and responsive when we had questions. Would highly recommend the OSQ for your next special event!

ail portion of our wedding. The songs we selected for them to play were from so many genres. From Beatles to Aerosmith to Lord of the Rings. One instruction I had was to play the Game of Thrones song right before the ceremony started because I knew I would be around the area to hear them play it. And it sounded AMAZING. And the songs they played during the ceremony were just the same. This review isn't just from my wife and I. Because we only got to hear a few songs because of the pre-ceremony prep and the photoshoot we took during the cocktail portion. When we greeted our guests during the reception, so many of them mentioned how great they were before we even asked about them. And from what I heard that day, and later from seeing some videos, so many of our guests ended up singing with the quartet. Without a doubt we would hire them again and would recommend them any occasion. Thank you Alicia and Co.
Big fans of Organic String Quartet! The addition of live music from a quartet during the ceremony and cocktail hour really brought some magic to the festivities. They have a wide r...
ange of songs, both contemporary and classic, and our guests were pleasantly surprised to hear some fun top 40 hits mixed in with the classics. The musicians were incredibly gracious and professional. Alicia was such a delight to work with during the planning process. Hiring OSQ was one of the easiest and best decisions we made for our wedding. We would highly recommend them to anyone interested.
They were so lovely! I'll be honest, I only saw them once during my wedding and I only really heard them during my walk down the aisle, but our guests told me they were awesome! We...
hired them for pre-ceremony, ceremony, and cocktail hour music and our guests raved about them! I got "Did you know your string quartet played Drake?!" more than once lol. Working with Alicia was effortless and they were very professional, my walk down the aisle was perfect, and I have no complaints. They were affordable and flexible and consummate professionals.
Alicia and her team were fantastic and very easy to work with. The best part of working with them is that they have nearly all of their songs on their website so that you can sampl...
e the songs and see which songs you want to include.
They stuck to the songs that we wanted, and they played beautifully! I have been to several events with quartets, and they were one of the best if not the BEST group I have ever heard! They were the BEST that I have ever heard at a wedding. I wish that we spent more time up on the roof enjoying their music, but we were running around doing photos and other things around the venue for the ceremony.
They also worked with me on timing so that they had adequate shade if umbrellas or portable cover is not available. We looked at a shade study to confirm that they would have the right amount of shade from an adjacent building structure.

ng about learning new songs at a nominal price and I was so impressed with how quickly Alicia always responded to emails and questions. We absolutely loved working with Organic String Quartet and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for live musicians to play at their wedding or other event!
We hired Organic String Quartet to play during our ceremony and cocktail hour and they were phenomenal! We worked with Alicia, the owner, on booking them for our wedding and she wa...
s very helpful, friendly, and quick to respond. During the ceremony we stuck with traditional songs such as Trumpet Voluntary, Canon in D, and the Wedding March. For the cocktail hour we went more modern with selections from Game of Thrones, Jurassic Park, Muse, Beyonce, Adele, etc. Unfortunately, due to Santa Monica's noise restrictions we had to move the music inside for cocktail hour and most of our guests wanted to remain outside which is such a shame because they sounded absolutely fantastic. Highly recommend!
I had a duo from the Organic String Quartet play at my wedding for the pre-ceremony, ceremony and cocktail hour. They were absolutely amazing! Alicia is not only wonderful to commu...
nicate and coordinate with, but she is also very accommodating to whatever you are envisioning. They learned three new songs that came from our personal congregational song book, and they truly mastered them! They are extremely talented musicians that took my wedding to another level of class and elegance. They helped my fiance and I create our perfect day!
There was one thing that I knew we had to have at our wedding... a string quartet! After lots of research and finally coming across OSQ's Soundcloud page, we were blown away by the...
diverse playlist they had. We used OSQ for our Ceremony and Cocktail hour. We had countless compliments from our guests on how great of an addition a string quartet was to the wedding. They definitely helped set the ambiance and keep the cocktail hour lively and fun. Throughout the entire planning process, Alicia was very helpful in helping us finalize our playlist and even gave us her suggestions based on her experience. My favorite part of having OSQ do our wedding, they played "California Love" by 2Pac for our recessional! I can't think of a better way to kick off the post wedding celebration!
The Organic String Quartet was fantastic! They were punctual, professional, and very talented. We had so many of our wedding guests say how much they loved the music. There is a wi...
de variety of music to choose from and the quartet was very accommodating. I must say, one of my personal favorite highlights was coming out with my groomsmen to the Star Wars theme. They really helped make our wedding truly special and memorable. Thank you, Organic String Quartet!

range County. (Google only hires the best for corporate events so I knew they were vetted, I just needed to make sure they were good to work with and within my budget). Alicia was a *pleasure* to work with - friendly, professional, and responsive. Their pricing was the LOWEST out of the 5 quartets that I received quotes from, which was a huge relief because they happened to be my preference from the beginning. And most importantly, my guests LOVED the music during the ceremony and cocktail hour. Organic's repertoire is very extensive so they were able to fill our cocktail hour with lots of modern top-40 type of music played on the strings (this made the music a huge hit with both the older guests and the younger guests). Look no further - hire Organic for your next event!!
We hired the string trio for our wedding ceremony. Alicia was prompt with email and polite. We weren't sure exactly what music we wanted, but they took our vague instructions and d...
elivered an outstanding performance. Our guests commented on how lovely it was. They were on time and looked great. If we get married a second time, we will definitely hire them again!

arranged a string version of a traditional Persian wedding song. Whether performing classical music, modern pop, or traditional Jewish and Persian wedding songs, the Organic String Quartet performed beautifully and added so much to our special day. I highly recommend them!
Alicia and OST were absolutely fabulous to work with from start to finish for our wedding this past October in Santa Monica! Can't say enough good things - far and away the easiest...
vendor to coordinate with and most flexible to accommodate our needs. The whole process was seamless, and Alicia always answered emails within 24 hours (rare, I found!). And then the trio we hired totally delivered, even with 1) totally murky instructions from us to play from a general list of picks until we were ready to start the pre-ceremony music; 2) willingness to move around within our venue so that we could flip the space; and 2) ability to seamlessly play for extra time when the power went out(!) during cocktail hour and also then leave promptly when it came back on. There were a ton of songs to pick from, satisfying both my alt- and indie-pop taste as well as my now-husband's proclivity for film scores and timeless instrumentals (not easy!). Everybody told me how beautiful the music was and how "us" the song choices were. Thank you for everything, OST!
Having this trio perform at my wedding ceremony and cocktail hour was an absolute delight!

e truly a great addition to the wedding. My fh didn't want a dj or a rock band, but wanted a string quartet to go with our rustic/outdoors relaxed themed wedding. The quartet was a true blessing to have as they created just the right atmosphere and environment that we wanted to set for our guests! Everyone complimented how the quartet made our wedding unique and a breath of fresh air from other weddings they had been too!
