Original Weddings Photo & Video

I hired Sound Originals to take the photos for my wedding in January and ended up being very disappointed. I was assured that the quality of photos would be that of the ones posted on the Sound Originals website and I do not feel like the ones I received back were that impressive. I do not feel like he was well organized and had pictures very planned. We had a winter wedding so it was cold outside and it just felt rushed although the afternoon was gorgeous. I feel like he could have made better use of the light but we ending up taking most of the pictures indoors. He took a bunch of group pictures in front of our backdrop which were all just fine, I feel like we could have found a better spot so all the pictures don’t just look the same. Also, he missed getting a picture of our kiss during the ceremony which was very disappointing. Another thing I am frustrated with is that he did not get any portraits of us standing side by side. The only ones he got where we were both looking at the camera was where I was standing behind my husband which I feel like turned out looking awkward. I would not recommend this photography company to anyone!

Sound Originals was the absolute best!! They were so helpful to me, figuring out what I wanted and when. They were always so quick to respond to any questions I had. Both my Photographer and Videograpger were amazing and made the whole process so fun and easy going. Not to mention my photos turned out absolutely stunning!!

I have nothing but positive things to say about my experience with the team at sound originals! From the start, they were responsive and professional. My planning session with Gabriella was great as she had a lot of excellent suggestions and was sure to relay our requests to our photographers, Jack and Davina, who were both wonderful! On our wedding day itself, the team arrived early and were great at suggesting shots and poses for the wedding party and accommodated requests to include our dog in our couples pictures. Throughout the celebration, Jack and Davina were so professional and were sure to capture both key moments of our celebration and candid shots of our guests. We just got our photos back and we LOVE them so much. Can’t recommend the team enough! They offer such an amazing service for such a reasonable price.

We are so happy we chose Sound Originals do our engagement photos, wedding photos and video! All photos have exceeded our expectations— and there were SO many! Our photographer, Vasi, and his team captured so many beautiful angles. Photographers arrived on time, and were able to adapt to our changing timeline the day of. We were thrilled with how everything turned out. We are excited to see how our video turns out!!

Jenna our photographer was just amazing! I loved her aesthetic eye! We had planned the majority of our Wedding Reception ourselves so the stress was very high to say and Jenna was able to help calm our nerves and get the best photos we have of us and our whole group of friends and family.

Don’t hesitate, just book them! I’m so happy we did. The team handled my engagement shoot and wedding day, we had 2 photographers and 2 videographers who went above and beyond for us. Not only were they super professional and always provided direction to us to get the best shots, but they were also so fun to have around and be part of our special day! I felt they were also fairly priced for everything we got, they were super quick with responses whenever i needed them and not sure if it’s because i got married at the end of peak wedding season but we also received all of our photos and video fairly fast! Faster than i had anticipated.

My husband and I had the privilege of an AMAZING team on our wedding day. Pictures and videos were very important to us as we both knew we would want the best coverage of our special day to have for years to come. We were blessed that our venue recommended Sound Originals. Right when Brant, Arnie, and Ashton showed up they immediately got to work communicating with my coordinator, husband, and myself to ensure we got the exact pictures we wanted. They made us both feel comfortable, laugh constantly and were very very personable. The main thing that was HUGE was we never noticed the photographer or videographer during any of the ceremony or reception. We were shocked at the quality and quantity of the pictures because of how invisible the photographers were. The pictures were out of my Pinterest dreams. We both couldn’t have asked for better pictures. The photographers and editors did a beautiful beautiful job and a month later we STILL can’t get over them. My husband and I are so happy that we booked them for our photos and videos! My husband's family is from out of the country and could not be with us to celebrate, so it was very important that we have good photos and videos for them. I’m so glad we went with Sound Originals for our wedding photos! Both photographers and videographer were awesome. Booking was easy and I love their online portal – they asked all the right questions and made sure everyone was on the same page with the vision for the day. We were able to have a planning call to “meet” our lead photographer, Carly, before the wedding day. I really appreciated that so we could go over some details and feel a little bit more comfortable going into the big day (husband and I are not huge picture people). Carly and team were right on time and I can’t say enough good things about how comfortable they made us feel and how hard they worked to make sure we got every shot that we wanted. It rained on our wedding day so there were some pictures I was disappointed about not getting, but Carly got out her phone and was tracking the weather so we could take advantage of every single break in the rain – even if it was only a couple minutes! We ended up getting every picture that I wanted and I’m so grateful! We got our picture gallery back ahead of what was stated in the contract and it’s everything we hoped for. The color is exactly what we chose (we went with the “Timeless” edit. Despite the rain they managed to capture every location on the property and it looks absolutely beautiful. We haven't gotten the video back yet but I'm sure it will be wonderful as well! We had an awesome experience, and I highly recommend them. Thank you for being a part of our favorite day!

For example, when we were behind our schedule for our couple's picture, Taylor suggested a great idea of finishing our sections during the cocktail time. Sound originals is amazing! Extremely professional, nice, and quick. The picture quality is amazing and there staff have an amazing vision for posing.I would recommend to anyone. Definitely worth the price!

We are so happy that we went with Sound Originals! The process was extremely smooth and their online platform was so easy to use and update. Some negative reviews on here talk about the photographers missing key pictures or the editing is too dark. These are all things clients are able to control. In fact, after my wedding I was able to change the editing to timeless from emerald after realizing I selected the wrong style. Our photographers were extremely professional and easy to work with and we cannot recommend this company enough!

I’m so happy I booked with this company! The fact that you can choose the editing style is a huge perk! Their portal is super useful and simple to use. The lead photographer that was assigned to us was amazing! When we had our engagement session, he really took the time to talk with us in between shots. He and my husband really bonded over their love of coffee so when he showed up to shoot our wedding, he brought us a gift of a few different types of coffee! He was very artistic with his shots, using elements around us to make cool images, like the reflection in a puddle on the ground, or mirrors off in the distance or crating cool effects with the sun or the fairy lights around us. I’m a very self conscious person and usually HATE photos of myself, but the photos I got from my engagement and wedding are absolutely amazing. He really captured our love and personalities in his photos!

We had Rona as our photographer and he was absolutely wonderful! He was punctual, extremely helpful with giving us directions during our shoots, and helped handle the shot list with family when it wasn't going 100% smoothly. Sarah was also a wonderful coordinator. She answered all our questions on the Zoom meetings and eased any worries we had during the planning process. Sound Originals hit the mark on the other parts of their service: the website portal was user-friendly, they were very quick to respond via text and email, and coordinating with Rona was super easy. Compared to other photographers, pricing was extremely reasonable. We got the emerald edit for our photos, which was perfect for the cloudy weather. We didn't have a videographer, and Rona was our only photographer for a 120-guest wedding. Would highly recommend Sound Originals to anyone!

I cannot say enough good things about our photographer/videographer from sound originals. Our photographer was on it. She paid attention to details, she hyped us all up and never made us feel awkward, communication was excellent, she even helped me put my veil on. Above all else the photographs she captured exceeded every expectation I had. I am the kind of person to take a million pictures of myself and hate them all, but I looked beautiful in every picture. My confidence after seeing those pictures has skyrocketed. She was a true gem of a human, the sidekick every bride needs. She knew when I had enough of posing for photos and wanted to get back to the party, and she never made us feel bad about it at all. I wish for every bride to have an amazing team behind them and just know if you choose to go with sound originals, you will.

We had an excellent experience with our photographers & videographers. They were familiar with our venue, timely (even showed up early), guided us in all pictures, came up with SO many prompts to make sure we got so many great pictures and videos, I could go on! We loved the edits and will absolutely cherish these photos forever!!
