This mansion, which dates back to the 1830s, is surrounded by lush greenery, offering a peaceful escape for you and your guests. Orion Hill Weddings and Events offers beautiful grand interior spaces, a lovely lawn, and nearby lakes for a wedding experience unlike any other. Whether you're having a big, traditional wedding reception, a rehearsal dinner, or an intimate gathering with your loved ones, Orion Hill Weddings and Events is a fantastic choice. Here, you can invite up to 300 wedding guests, who can use the secure parking space on site. The property was built as a replica of the Hermitage by Alexander Donelson, who was the nephew of President and Mrs Andrew Jackson. Generations of Donelson's family lived here until it burned down in the 1920s and then sold. In the 1990s, Dr. and Mrs. Lester Graves built a gorgeous Greek revival home on the site of the original building. Cathy and Don Wilson later bought the property in 2018. The couple wanted to turn the place into an event venue to share its story and preserve its heritage.
