r reception started at 6pm and we had NO cake at our hall. The hall manager, wedding planner, and my husband we’re trying to reach the bakery and no one was answering. There was no communication or ways of trying to figure out where our wedding cake was. Guests were wondering what was wrong because if our anger and stress. Our schedule for the day was completely all over the place because of the cake being missing. Guests are wondering why they was no cake even though it was on our menu. It was a disaster! Finally cake arrived around 9:30pm. It was as beautiful, but icing nearly melted as if it was sitting for hours. There was NO explanation from the bakery as to why our cake was very late. And no one from the bakery called to apologize. I finally called a week later to complain. They did refund us, but it’s still the principle of the matter. If you book with them, please confirm daily until the day OF the wedding that your cake will be there on time and ask for an emergency contact.
