uple of things that really didn’t sit well with me. 1.       Wedding Timeline-Cake Cutting I remember having the discussion with Adam to push the timeline for the cake cutting back to 8pm for various reasons—after discussing with my husband we decided to keep the original time of 9pm for cake cutting ceremony, which I informed Adam of via email. My husband told me that when he was at the venue the day of wedding to setup, and Adam went up to him and tried getting him to change the time back to 8pm. He then came up to both of us during our wedding and asked a third time to change it. We felt so dejected and pressured at that point we finally gave in. Our wedding coordinator witnessed the interaction and stepped in to ensure that we got what we wanted, which was a 9pm cake cutting. 2.       Leaving DJ Booth I think personalization is important, and it’s great when DJs/MCs interact with wedding guests—but Adam overdid it. I had several friends and family members say that he went up to them and started talking about details of his personal life. They were uncomfortable with the entire interaction and did not think it was professional at all. 3.       Song Requests I understand that we needed to stick to the timeline and it’s hard to take every single request that comes a DJs way. I had friends and family that specifically put in requests per my husband and myself. The songs either didn’t get played or it took them multiple times of asking before they were played. 4.       Payment This was the biggest issue of the evening. We were extremely excited that Adam was flexible enough to stay an additional 30-minutes at the end of the reception. We had a group of partiers that didn’t want the evening to end. The fact that Adam was chasing me down for $120.00 at the end of the night was ludicrous. There were literally 100+ people that were at the venue he could’ve asked that would’ve gladly been able to take care of the payment—not the drunken bride who literally had nowhere to store $120.00. Not only that, but I have also never faltered on paying Adam prior to the wedding. I would’ve made sure that he received his money later that evening or the next day. Unfortunately, the only impression that all my guests had of the DJ for our wedding was that he was trying to shake the bride down for money at the end of the night.   I have coordinated and executed weddings in my past life and have been in the industry long enough to know how competitive it is. Adam and I have a lot of industry friends in common which is the main reason I went with his company for our wedding. He has great reviews online so maybe this was just a one off situation. I hope this can be used for constructive criticism, so he can continue to keep his 5-star review.

e evening as our Dj! Adam is extremely outgoing and friendly and he made us not only feel comfortable throughout our wedding evening but he allowed us and our guests to all have a great time celebrating our wedding. He's a ton of fun and was able to ensure that the wedding was constantly moving along with our schedule. If you want a DJ that is going to truly ensure your evening is flawless, go with Adam!!

tly ridiculous in retrospect considering he didn’t even play 2% of the requested songs, people had to ask for them to be played for any of those songs to actually play. Had I known he wouldn’t be playing any of them I wouldn’t have told him that he “didn’t have to play all of them”. Did not know that would actually mean he would not play all of them. We asked for Pitbull songs. One pitbull song was played at the end of the night. We asked for cardi b songs, he played WAP on request and he let the entire song play- oh yeah brings me to my next point. I can go on and on, nothing was played that we asked for specifically on the list. DJs are supposed to do song mixing and song clipping- none of that was seen at my wedding. He would let a song die on the dance floor before switching to another song. There wasn’t a single song played released in the past year. It was all old hits from pre pandemic. He showed up without a DJ table or a sheet to cover it, my venue had to look for a BED SHEET from one of the rooms to cover a table we provided. He released my tables for the buffet service- not sure why?! Catering was going to handle this. Every time he made a mistake he would blame me (the bride) which my guests noticed and were embarrassed for me for. But what hursts the most for me is that I told him my father daughter dance was a surprise- we were going to slow dance to trick everyone and then bust into a choreographed dance- he announced as we got on the dance floor “they’ve been practicing this for a long time!” Spoiling our surprise. But not only that- my husband and I have been practicing our first dance for almost a year- we did a waltz. At the end he didn’t even let the song finish- he cut it off and completely ruined our planned exit. The sound wasn’t as loud as it should have been, you could hear people talking over the music- in a bad way. Generally awful, when I think of how Adam ruined my wedding DJ experience I get nauseous, because I trusted the knot and I trusted the reviews. Now I know he reports the bad reviews and you have to work to get them to stay up. Some other things, he announced my bridesmaids incorrectly, for example he’d say “Kathy! And maid of honor leyna!” When we had already gone over that it was Kathy. We talked about doing the last dance at 10:40 and he stopped 10 minutes earlier. Not the worst thing but still my guests noticed. He didn’t start our exit song for our ceremony until my husband and I were halfway down the aisle. Last thing he did was my photographer wanted to bring everyone outside for a sparkler exit before she left and he argued with her about it- he was trying to argue that people would be confused and wouldn’t come back inside losing out on pictures of my sparkler exit. Just overall terrible. His photo-booth man was the best thing about his package, he did great and we loved him and his service. If you want a mediocre dance floor go with Adam, otherwise go with the venue recommended DJ- that was my biggest regret not doing. They know best.

d, communication was great from day one, on day of wedding he showed up super early which was great because I had some minor changes. My wedding ended in complete disarray so my hubby and I just wanted out of there so it ended almost 2 hours early and ADAM STAYED TO HELP!! This man stayed to help kick people out, clean the venue, put chairs away, heavy lifting like everything! If you want a good party and a reliable DJ & announcer that will get everyone partying hire this company! They are reasonably priced when you break it down it is very affordable. I had DJ and lighting services for 5 hours

On the day of, he showed up 4 hours early and took it upon himself to act as a somewhat wedding coordinator for me, running errands, keeping me updated putting down family squabbles, etc. I don't know what I would have done without him. He made everything so much more fluid and smooth, I can't express my gratitude. During the wedding, Adam kept things going and upbeat.He was funny, never obnoxious, and on time with our schedule without being pushy or stressful. We are STILL receiving compliments on the DJ service 41 days after the wedding! We love you, Adam! You have made two lifelong clients and friends! Thank you so very much! Countless doctors and staff have said that this was the best christmas party to date. We will be hiring Adam again for next year. The photo booth was a huge hit as well. He then took the time to chat with myself, my husband and family when waiting for the ceremony to start. He made sure to keep the schedule on time and to keep with the flow throughout the evening. There was even a scare about getting my wedding dress bustled and he came over to help out the bridemaids!! Adam was so interactive with all of the guests and I am STILL getting compliments from everyone about "the best DJ."

stay on schedule and I didn't feel that was even part of his job! The music was perfect and when my musician Uncle arrived his first question was if we had a string quartet! That's how good the sound quality was. I highly recommend Adam/Orlando DJ.
