The first call I made when the wedding date was set (even before securing the venue) was to Cindy to make sure that she was available. Cindy made a lasting impression on me almost 10 years ago when she was the DJ at a family member's wedding and I knew that when it was time to for our daughter to get married we HAD to have her. My goodness, I thought that she was fantastic then, but she is purely fabulous now. From the moment that we locked her in to days following the wedding, she was amazing. The questions that she asks, the homework that she had for the bride and groom and just frankly the care that she shows from start to finish is truly appreciated and different from any other "vendor" that I have ever worked with or heard of anyone working with. Cindy tries to ensure that every angle is covered and the day goes as smoothly as you could possibly hope for in a day of utter chaos. And let us not forget Barry. . . what a professional. We met him and he greeted us with a memorable smile and just had this way about him that you instantly know you are in good hands. This was an award winning team that we feel so blessed to have been apart of our special day. Thank you BOTH for everything that you did to make this day exceptional. You know it's a good party when the lights come back on at the end of the reception and more than 80% of the guest list is still present. People continue to tell us (even a month later!) just how much fun the wedding was and ask how I did it. My standard answer, I hired Ormond Entertainment- the fun is thanks to Cindy and Barry, I cannot take the credit!

Contacting Cindy and Ormond Entertainment was the smartest move we could have made. Cindy really knows her audience, performed a beautiful ceremony, organized chaotic 'lost' adults and just did everything we could have wanted. Ormond played for our niece's wedding in Skaneateles, so we were blessed they were free for our outside winery venue on 8/26. Cindy met with our son and daughter-in-law and knew how to put them at ease. She is very detail oriented, anticipates needs, and makes great decisions. Barry played all of the music the bride and groom wanted. They did a fabulous job introducing the wedding party! Thank you Ormond for helping our families to make such wonderful memories.

While my husband and I were looking for a DJ company, we found Ormond Entertainment, which is so much more than a DJ company. While higher priced than what you would expect for a DJ, Cindy and her team delivered an absolutely perfect wedding day. My guests have commented often and months later how much fun they had and how they loved the flow and music at our wedding. Cindy puts in the time to get to know each couple, the wedding party and individual tastes and our wedding ceremony and reception were evidence of that. Cindy from Ormond Entertainment came highly recommended to me by two other vendors in the industry. When I first met with her I was very pleased with how serious she took her work. My husband and I have crazy work schedules but Cindy was able to accommodate us throughout the planning process. Cindy also put my mind at ease when she assisted my bridal party at the rehearsal, which I highly recommend!! Cindy took the time to learn everyone's name in my wedding party which was important. Cindy is so much more than your typical DJ. She helped us plan out every little detail for our May 2016 wedding that we didn't even think of. She took my mind off of the stress and we enjoyed our special day worry free! Every time we met with her she made us even more excited than we already were. She is a true professional! Cindy and Barry helped us mix and execute the perfect surprise first dance. My grandpa said that was one of the best parts of the whole wedding. They also do a unique introduction to the wedding party that had everyone laughing! I loved their take on the typical anniversary dance. It worked out better for us. We hired Cindy and Barry for our wedding at the Thousand Islands Harbor Hotel on 5/28/16 and I am thrilled that we did! Cindy is extremely professional and plans for every little detail you could possibly think of- I was so impressed. Cindy not only handles the entertainment, but helps coordinate the entire day. She makes sure everyone is exactly where they need to be at all times, from bridal party to the vendors. Cindy and Barry's in depth introductions for each person in the bridal party was a great way for the entire ballroom to get to know them. The night flowed seamlessly and exactly how the groom and I requested it go. And of course the music lights were amazing! Thank you for a once and a lifetime party!

Ormond Entertainment is unquestionably the best DJ service in the area. We had an idea what to expect from them from past events, and we got all that and more at our wedding. We couldn't recommend them more, but specifically you'd be hard pressed to find a better option If you're having a non-traditional, ceremony/reception. The service they provide is far more than a standard wedding/event DJ. If necessary, Cindy will become almost like a secondary wedding planner in the sense that she can take a very loose and poorly planned situation and bring it the structure it needs to become an actual event. Not once did she push us into something we didn't want to do. You'll meet with Cindy multiple times and go over EVERY detail until it's optimized. She will MC your reception and create a grand entrance for you and your wedding party. It's customized as she takes notes about everyone involved. She moves the event through all the key moments, special dances/cake cutting etc. We cannot stress enough how high the level of your reception will be raised. Ormond Entertainment definitely helped to make our wedding day memorable and one of the most special days in our lives. We can't say enough good things about them, and we highly recommend them to anyone who plans on getting married!

Cindy was extremely professional from the first time we spoke. Her organization and communication made her and the Ormond team very easy to work with leading up to our wedding. My husband and I were also quite particular with the “flow” of our wedding -- we wanted it to be structured, but organic, and when it came to the wedding day, their team hit the ball out of the park. Not to mention, the song selections that they chose from our huge list of suggested songs was spot on. I honestly cannot say enough great things about the Ormond Entertainment crew, and highly recommend them to anybody who wants an amazing wedding reception!

Cindy Ormond, of Ormond entertainment, is wonderful. She is hands on throughout the entire planning process, and really helps the couple formulate what they want in all of the little details. She and her partner book 1 wedding per day, and they really focus on your wedding to make sure your needs are met and you are happy with how it goes. Her partner is the DJ, and Cindy is the MC, but also is a coordinator. She helped with directing our guests to their seats for the ceremony, directing guests to cocktail hour after the ceremony, MC'd the event with announcements, and when she introduced us for the first time, she even told a little story about how we met. Our wedding was on the medium size- 65 people, no wedding party, we didn't do a bouquet toss, garter toss, or dollar dance. So my only advice to a couple is to really consider if you need your DJ to be this involved for such a low key wedding. I think that if we had gone with a different (read less expensive) DJ or band, everything probably would have gone just fine too. Don't get me wrong, I loved working with Cindy, and in the end, I think everything was perfect, however they were a little on the pricey side for us. I think they'd do a really great job for a larger wedding, that has a lot of moving parts, intros, and announcements.

Cindy and Barry from Ormond Entertainment are absolutely amazing! I couldn't have imagined any other company providing as much fun and laughter to our wedding day. From Cindy's hilarious wedding party introductions, to Barry's awesome DJing skills, everyone at our wedding was having a phenomenal time. So many of our guests have commented on how great Cindy was and how much fun they had dancing. The photo booth was another amazing element! It's a classic photo booth, but the picture quality is superb and the props they provide just add to the fun! The first thing any newly engaged couple should do is book Ormond Entertainment right now! Plan your wedding date around their availability! You won't regret it!

We couldn't have asked for a better DJ!! Cindy is WAY more than just a DJ! She really helps you plan your entire reception and ceremony and has to be one of the sweetest and most organized wedding vendors you could possibly deal with. Cindy has a "signature introduction" for the bridal party and you HAVE to do it! Anytime someone asks me what my favorite part of the wedding was I always say the introductions. She asks you to fill out A LOT of information about yourselves and your bridal party and it takes A LONG time to do it but it is so worth it. She took all of that information and wrote the perfect 2 or 3 sentences about each bridesmaid/groomsmen that totally captured their personalities and our relationships with each of them. I was literally standing in the back of the room laughing so hard I was crying. It was truly unique and amazing. I would recommend Ormond Entertainment to any bride!!!!!!!!! We wanted to spend about 1/3 of what Ormond charges but after speaking at length with Cindy we could not not go with her! Spend the extra money. YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!!!!!!!!!!

There comes a time in your wedding planning (about 1 week before the wedding) where you have a complete breakdown. Sobbing- I dont know what to do anymore moment. And then someone swoops in to save the day. No, its not your fiance. Its your DJ. For real. Cindy, Tim and Barry are out of this world amazing. They went above and beyond. They helped me not only make my day perfect- but they promised a wedding where the guests said "It is the best wedding ever." They will NOT let you down. At all. I promise. I could even make the guarantee if they do let you down- I will reimburse you for the funds. I love Ormond. Pick them- they will be your favorite choice in the whole wedding- maybe even more than your husband/wife.

I am an accountant and a big planner and Cindy was RIGHT up my alley. She is very smart and loves to be prepared for every situation. She coordinated with other vendors to make sure our timeline was on their radar and that helped our day go extremely smoothly! Cindy was very helpful with running the whole wedding on the day of. A bunch of our friends thought she was our wedding planner she was so on top of everything! Detailed planning meeting and lots of thought was put into our event. I LOVED how she asked about specific reasons we wanted songs and what they meant to us etc. She was able to create the perfect wedding moment toward the end of our reception because she took the time to understand these elements. Highly recommend Ormond Entertainment!!

Cindy Ormond was very easy to work with. We planned the wedding from NJ, and we had a couple phone conferences. She worked hard to make sure she understood our theme and what we wanted by really getting to know us and our bridal party. It was a beautiful reception, and we received much praise from our guests about the music and her narration throughout the day. The ceremony and reception took place in one location, so it was great to have someone guide us and the guests seamlessly from one event to the next. I believe the other DJ, Joe, even helped to clear some plates, as we didn't hire staff to do this. Before they left, we also gave us a CD of all the important songs from our wedding. We got much more than we expected at such a great value!

Some people may think that a DJ is there just to play music. With Cindy Ormond, we quickly learned that a DJ is so much more than that. From our first meeting with Cindy, we realized that she was not just a DJ- she was an experience coordinator. At our first meeting, Cindy gave us our "Wedding Homework", which may be scary to some, but as a teacher, I appreciated it :) Looking over the homework that evening, it was clear that Cindy really cared about getting to know not only us as a couple, but our family, our friends, and our dreams for our wedding day. She clearly wanted to help us orchestrate our big day to the last detail. Because of the many facets of the wedding that Cindy coordinated, I want to make sure I touch upon everything so you hopefully can realize how amazing she truly is. Music/Reception: Right from the beginning, Cindy made it clear that she wasn't just going to be playing music and introducing our party- she was there to orchestrate a wedding experience. For each important person in our wedding, Cindy asked for a personalized biography page. When we asked her why she does this, she said that when couples fill these pages out, she is able to get a clearer picture of why these people were chosen for the wedding party, and it sometimes sparks a special memory that Cindy can use to introduce the person at the reception. We were also given the opportunity to select our own entrance music for our wedding party, which was so fun! If Cindy thought a song wouldn't work, she made sure we understood why, and even suggested something else if it was appropriate. Our parent dances were each introduced with a short note that we had written about our parents, which made those dances even more meaningful. To show our love of football, Cindy organized a "gauntlet-style" cake cutting experience, with my husband and I running down the line of bridesmaids and groomsmen, complete with the Monday Night Football Theme. It made a normally boring wedding tradition fun and upbeat! Throughout the night, Cindy played a mix of music that ensured that all guests would be up and dancing. She even dedicated songs to my mom and stepdad for their 19th anniversary, and to my Grangie and Grandpa for their 25th anniversary. They were so surprised, and the joy on their faces made our hearts melt :) Ceremony: After we hired Cindy for our reception music, we decided that we had to have her do our ceremony as well. She was so helpful and thorough with our selections, making suggestions when necessary- including when it came to making our "rain plan" decision. When we learned that it was certainly going to rain during our ceremony, Cindy approached me and told me the situation, and made a normally stressful decision so much easier by helping me prioritize what was most important to us on this important day. Her timing was perfect on all of the music, and our ceremony became the intimate affair we'd always hoped it would be. Lighting: Cindy was kind enough to offer us lighting as part of our wedding day package, and it certainly made a huge difference. There was an ambiance throughout the evening that reflected the image we'd told her about from the very beginning. If you are considering hiring Cindy Ormond for your wedding, you will never find anyone better than her. She truly stands alone in her field, and we truly believe that she was the best decision we made for our wedding. She is an exceptional human being, and we love her!

we had such a blast with ormond entertainment! they even dj'ed and had karaoke for our rehearsal dinner. cindy was so much fun to work with throughout the whole process. we got lots of compliments on how great the music selection was!

They are a great team! Cindy officiated our wedding and Roger set up all the music and surprises throughout our day. They were there for the rehearsal and throughout the whole reception. They made my wedding even more special. It wouldn't have been the same without them.

Roger and Cindy are always looking for fresh ideas to bring to the table, and it shows! Everyone commented on how different our reception was. The little touches they added and the time and effort they put into making it special really showed. They love their job and we loved them!

Absolutely amazing!!! They knew my husband and I and our story well and they shared it with all our friends and family. They kept people laughing, dancing and enjoying themselves all night long. People were actually sad to leave because they enjoyed the reception so much, and that was completely a credit to Cindy and Roger.
