Orso's Restaurant

We hosted our rehearsal dinner at Orso’s Restaurant, and it was truly exceptional from start to finish. The staff went above and beyond to make the evening feel special, and every detail was handled with care. The coordination leading up to the event was smooth and professional, and on the night of, everything ran flawlessly. The food was outstanding and the atmosphere was warm, inviting, and perfect for bringing our families together before the big day. We never felt rushed, and the team ensured everyone was comfortable and well taken care of. A huge thank-you to the entire team at Orso’s for helping us kick off our wedding weekend in such a memorable way. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend this venue for any special event.

I had my rehearsal dinner at Orso's in early September on the outdoor, upper deck. The team was fantastic to work with (shoutout to Diana and Daria!) and the dinner itself was incredible and smooth. The food, service, attention to detail, bar service, etc., was perfect. I highly recommend hosting an event here. I also felt that their pricing was super fair and transparent. 

Our wedding reception at Orso’s was absolutely perfect from start to finish. The entire staff went above and beyond to make the day feel effortless, joyful, and completely our own. From the moment we started planning, Dana, the manager, was a dream to work with. She was kind, attentive, and incredibly accommodating, always ready to help us bring our vision to life. Even when we made last-minute changes, like serving dessert early or adding some fun and unexpected decorations (think little ant stickers and monkeys), she handled everything with total ease and a smile. The staff was outstanding in every way. They worked seamlessly together and made sure every guest felt cared for. What stood out most was how relaxed and genuine they were; it felt like they were celebrating with us rather than just working the event. Their good energy set the tone for the entire night. The food was phenomenal. Every dish came out hot, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious. There was an abundance of it too—honestly, we had more than enough for everyone, and our guests were thrilled to take some leftovers home after the party. It felt generous, thoughtful, and very in the spirit of celebration. The venue itself is a true hidden gem in Chicago. It has that perfect mix of old-school Chicago charm with cozy greenery, romantic lighting, and an intimate yet spacious layout. We loved that it had plenty of room for dancing and mingling, while still feeling warm and inviting. One of the highlights was our private two-tiered deck, complete with a second bar. It gave our guests the option to explore different spaces, enjoy a change of scenery, and make the night feel dynamic and special. We honestly could not have asked for a better experience. The price was incredibly reasonable compared to other venues, yet the quality, service, and atmosphere were unmatched. We are already talking about hosting an annual celebration here, and we cannot wait to come back for dinner again soon. If you are looking for a venue that combines heartfelt service, amazing food, and a true Chicago vibe, Orso’s is the place. It exceeded every expectation and gave us a wedding night we will never forget. Thank you to Dana and the entire Orso’s team for creating something magical.
