O'Ryan Empire was our best choice in vendors! We loved working with them on the wedding day, and loved reliving the moments when our gallery came. They were able to not only provide a beautiful cohesive gallery of images from the start of the wedding to the very end, but they were able to handle unexpected schedule and weather changes. They are true professionals, and I will refer them to EVERYONE!

I am usually not the “review leaving” type, however, exceptional work deserves to be recognized! Choosing the O’Ryan Empire team for our wedding was easily one of the best choices we made! The experience from start to finish was very customer focused and all about our complete satisfaction. Erik is a very personable man and made us free at home when shooting us. The team works efficiently and professionally—they are very communicative throughout the process and make a detailed call and send a questionnaire to ensure they get all the photos you request, aside from what they are already shooting. Not to mention, their payment website is very user friendly and delivers a live balance update as soon as you make each payment (we found that extremely helpful). On our wedding day, we had the privilege of working with Erik and Marlene, and the energy they gave us kept us smiling and laughing the whole time. Love this team! My initial reach out, I was communicating with Jaclyn, who was so fun and professional that we knew we definitely wanted to book them for our engagement and wedding photos. Although their stunning photos and so many positive reviews are what caught our eye, this team is just so great! Our engagement shoot with Erik was an absolute blast and it was clear he knew exactly how to capture what we wanted and exceed our expectations. For our wedding, it was during some pretty intense rainfall. This was, understandably, causing us to feel stressed as we needed to make many last minute adjustments, but the phone call we had with them the week before helped to put our minds at ease so much. He was excited and totally game to get some truly unique shots in the rain, and boy did he deliver! He and his assistant, Christine, were so knowledgable and efficient and were able to find the most beautiful places in the venue to really capture the moment. I cannot wait to see the final shots as I know they will bring up so many memories and emotions. If you are considering using Erik and Jaclyn as your photography and/or videography team, JUST DO IT! My husband and I struggle finding good photographers that are capable of working with what we’re self conscious about or anything along those lines. We never personally got to meet Jaclyn, but the communication I had with her was always excellent! For my husband to talk about how much he enjoyed someone services is very rare, and he had nothing but good things to say about Erik repeatedly. He took the time to get to know us and our quirks, things we liked to photograph and things we didn’t. He made sure to capture all of our special moments on our wedding day and engagement session. We have nothing, but AMAZING things to say about Erik and Jaclyn! They are so fun to work with and our pictures are jaw droppingly beautiful. They are on top of their communication and their professionalism is top notch, which is greatly appreciated especially since we booked them two years in advance. Erik and Jaclyn are an incredible photography team! I have been in several weddings, prior to having my own, so I’ve seen different styles and these two are levels above anyone I’ve ever encountered. The whole bridal party was super impressed with them, too. They paid attention to every detail and let us know when hair or positioning or little things were off. They were super authentic and diverse with their shots. They captured photos that ranged from bridal magazine cover looking to super intimate to awesome action photos. They were beyond easy to work with. They’re obviously great people—so kind and genuine, super fun, very respectful, and professional in their roles. Erik and Jaclyn were supposed to be the photographers for our wedding in 2020. Unfortunately, it was canceled due to COVID-19. Since then, I have used them for my maternity photoshoot and a photoshoot for my son’s first birthday. Every time, I have been blown away by the quality of the pictures. I would definitely recommend them for wedding photos, but they are also amazing at capturing other special events. They are both very welcoming and easy to talk to. We always have a great time during the pictures. They are definitely my go to photographer for special events and family photos!

Working with O’Ryan Empire was an amazing experience. I have so many good things I could say about Erik and Jaclyn. From our very first phone conversation they were so friendly and easy going, making sure to address any questions I had. We scheduled our wedding photographs and an engagement session. When we met for the engagement session my fiancé and I both felt a little nervous because we had never been photographed in such a way. But, Erik and Jaclyn made us feel so comfortable and we had so much fun. Another thing I really appreciated from them was their flexibility and willingness to work with me. COVID caused my wedding date to be postponed and O’Ryan was very understanding and allowed us to move our date. They were always punctual in replying to my many emails and it was very reassuring that they were so good with communication. When it came to the date of our wedding, my husband and I were both really impressed with O’Ryan (as we knew we would be). They thought of everything and took so many amazing pictures. WOW! Erik and Jaclyn are seriously THE BEST EVER. My wedding was 1 hour behind schedule because the makeup artist decided not to show. Erik and Jaclyn in spite of the loss of time in the schedule were STILL able to quickly and beautifully capture my wedding day. I was so stressed out and worried that my makeup artist ruined my wedding and then Erik and Jaclyn stepped in and made me laugh, and reminded me what the day was about. Man - what more can we say about Jaclyn and Erik? Before reading any of the 5 Star reviews about them, we booked on the spot at our venue's open house. They were so funny, personable, and of course had a book of amazing work. Our photo package included an engagement shoot, but because we had those done already we were able to switch for family portraits. That was an awesome experience because it let us and our family get more comfortable with them before the big day. They were super patient (we had kids aged 3, 4, and 5 with us) and all the shots turned out great. As for the wedding itself- they were such pros. Splitting up to capture us individually in the afternoon and then working together for all the great group shots. They were like a well-oiled machine and made the process painless and fun. They knew all the best places for shots and got us and our bridal party around quickly to get back in time for the reception. To top it all off, we got along great and have been talking outside of the wedding. Cannot recommend enough! 11/10. PS, my wife gave me a boudoir book as a wedding gift that they shot too... So yeah, they do it all. AMAZING!

I’m not sure where to begin with O’Ryan Empire. Jaclyn and Erik are relatable, funny, professional and extremely talented. We both tout them as our most valued vendor due to everything they did for us from engagement shoot to delivering the wedding gallery link. They worked with our dog really well, which meant a lot to us. And while I know every bride and groom likes to think they have the best photos ever, our photos seriously look like they belong in a magazine. Having worked for a media company, I like to think I have some credibility in saying this! :) On the day of, they both worked the entire wedding/reception in sleek black outfits and in-ear walkie talkies to keep track of their progress together. I found this all really impressive and well planned on their part. They guided the wedding party and families in the most efficient way I’ve seen at a wedding and had us off to our grand entrance in plenty of time. I would recommend this team to anyone and everyone and we plan to reach out again if we have any future photo needs!

First of all, our wedding and engagement photos are amazing. Finding quality photographers was my wife's #1 concern. We love our photos! Erik and Jaclyn from O'Ryan Empire came recommended from our venue's (Falkner Winery) coordinator. The coordinator stressed to us that any vendor of the recommend list comes with their 100% seal of approval. Weddings are stressful and hiring people who you can trust to do their job and not add stress to the planning is very important. Erik and Jaclyn built that trust by being getting to know us during introductory phone calls, being flexible with shoot dates, and making the engagement session fun and relaxing. As the wedding day approached, Erik and Jaclyn called to verify the details of the wedding and by doing so we were confident we wouldn't have to worry about them on our big day. Having a 6 month engagement period, my wife and I worried that it would be difficult to find a photographer who could accommodate our busy schedule but O'Ryan Empire was very flexible even driving out to the Los Angeles Arboretum from Corona for our engagement session. My wife and I had never been part of a professional shoot and were incredibly nervous on the day of our engagement session. Erik and Jaclyn put as at ease by letting us be who we are, two lovebirds, while they navigated us to the best spots in the arboretum. We are extremely happy with our engagement and wedding photos. I don't know that I can properly put into words how much I loved working with Erik and Jaclyn with O'Ryan Empire, but I'll try. We reached out to them and a few other photographers in preparation for our wedding. We really appreciated that an in-person coffee meeting was how we got to get to know them. We clicked almost instantly. I found talking to Erik and Jaclyn really easy and fluid, and I could tell that they understand what we were going for. Fast forward to our engagement session, I had so much fun with Erik and he did such a great job of capturing our relationship. There are so many pictures I have around our house now because I love it. From our poses with our 3DSs to our foreheads together, he really captured our love and helped us feel at ease. We had a long time between our engagement session and our wedding and they kept in constant contact with us. They encouraged me to share the details we were finalizing as we did it, which was fun! They're excited to hear about your details because it helps them know what to focus on. We did a walkthrough of the venue the month before the wedding, and then the day of the wedding was absolutely amazing. They had an assistant with them who was just as wonderful as they are. And their photo booth is awesome - I highly recommend it! I can't believe the quality of the photos that came out of our photo booth. The props were fun and our guests loved it. They made me feel at ease throughout the wedding and captured amazing pictures. Some of their candid shots were almost magical. I also thought I didn't like pictures of details, but they proved me wrong :) There's this one shot of my husband's grandmother and I's hands clasped together that I absolutely adore and can't stop looking at. All of this to say... they are worth every penny. The packages are amazing; the photo booth, the canvas photos, the albums. If you can afford it, do it. Hire them. They will help immortalize your special day :) I will definitely consider them for other life events!

Jaclyn and Erik were the photographers for my daughter’s wedding at Descanso Gardens. As a team, they are sensational. The engagement photos taken in the Angeles National Forest are breathtaking. If I could give Jaclyn & Erik more than 5 stars I would. They were absolutely incredible to work with, and exceeded all expectations on my wedding day! The entire day I had guests coming up to me commenting on how great they were. My mother kept saying how Jaclyn was working every angle to get all the unique shots, and all of the groomsmen absolutely LOVED Erik! It seemed as if we were all good friends by the end of the night! As a bride planning my own large wedding, I was really looking for vendors who were trustworthy, communicated well, and were reliable. From our first phone call, all the way through our wedding day, Jaclyn & Erik were so organized. We had multiple phone calls leading up to the big day to discuss which shots were important to us, and they truly listened. I can honestly say I am a "Type-A" personality who is overly critical, a super-planner with high standards, and I have only positive things to say about Jaclyn & Erik. During my search for a photographer, I had also weighed having 2 photographers vs. 1. Originally I didn't really think 2 was necessary, but after our wedding day, it made a HUGE difference to have 2. There are always multiple things going on at a wedding, and you just get wider coverage of the event. Also, since our wedding was outside, Erik held up large screens to create the perfect lighting while Jaclyn captured the shot. A combined effort to get the best photos! Wouldn't get that with a single photographer. I would highly recommend Jaclyn & Erik for your next event!

I have known Jaclyn for years and have witnessed her grow her photography skills into absolute perfection. And now she has gotten married herself and they became this powerhouse team. They know exactly what they are doing. They are quick with getting their shots, but we were never rushed. We felt so at ease and relaxed and that made it relaxing and FUN!! They are absolute professionals from the minute we booked with them to the finished products. They had exceltional communication throughout the planningz They know the right questions to ask to get everything organized perfectly. We also booked their photobooth and all of our guest were talking about it. It was a beautiful setup and the guest book I got from the pictures taken is something I will forever cherish. My absolute favorite thing about them was how they made us feel like they were excited to photograph us and our day. You can tell that they LOVE with a passion what they do and it shows 100%.
