load while I was stressing about other details. You want someone who will be a calming presence on your big day and Amanda really was. She also saved the day with a last minute suggestion to purchase clear umbrellas as our outdoor ceremony got rained out. The clear umbrellas allowed us to do photos outside and turned out so cute!

Her professionalism and expertise in ceremonies speaks volumes when she walked us through the process of getting our marriage license and the preparation of everything. had a small wedding (40 guests) and 4 plus a flower girl in bridal party. Amanda said she would be there at 4 as ceremony was starting a little after 5. So 1 hour before and then she would go through a rehearsal and help. Day of the wedding I called her at 4:35 and she told me she was walking from Resorts Casino (at a wedding expo in town) to Tropicana (which is like 1.5 miles?). She did not get there till a little after 4:40pm and left again soon after arriving to change so did not get back till 4:50... It felt very disorganized and messy. My guests were arriving since it started at 5pm and I was counting on her to help run through the ceremony and help my bridal party be prepared. Not very professional and she just brushed it off never apologizing for being late. Did it ruin my wedding? No. Did it bring unnecessary stress? Yes...
Amanda recently did our ceremony and it was perfect. Funny, heartfelt and the whole thing ran smoothly! I cannot say enough about how wonderful an officiant she is!
