Allie and Kurt have an absolutely stunning wedding venue! We planned our wedding from abroad and Allie and Kurt could not have done a better job preparing for a perfect day. This i...
ncluded adapting on the fly to unpredictable weather for a picturesque ceremony in the hay loft, overlooking Cayuga lake. We made use of the beautiful farmhouse, barn and outdoor spaces for our ceremony and reception. Allie and Kurt were extremely accommodating, allowing us to decorate the barn space for our reception, and providing assistance on the day of the ceremony with set-up. Allie was able to provide dishes, linens, and decor on-site which eliminated virtually all of the single-use items from our wedding. Allie made the florals for the ceremony using seasonal flowers from her garden and they were absolutely stunning! The barn event space is a perfect mix of rustic charm with practical event-space amenities — including clean, accessible restrooms. Even in the fall weather, everyone stayed warm inside the barn, thanks in part to heaters available on site. We had a relatively small wedding, but with Allie and Kurt’s help, we did not need a wedding planner as they were incredibly organized and responsive to our questions. The day could not have run more smoothly from start to finish (including a bonfire that Kurt built for us after our guests left for the evening). Many of our guests commented that it was one of the most beautiful venues they had seen. We wanted to show our guests the best of the Finger Lakes and cannot think of a better place to do it!
We had our wedding at Osmica in June 2026 and had a wonderful experience. Allie and Kurt have created a truly unique and special place that is so much more than a venue. The proper...
ty feels both grand and regal, while also rustic and down to earth. From the gorgeous restored barn and incredible farm house, to the rolling pastures and beautiful sweeping views, it is the perfect place for an Ithaca wedding! Our ceremony was stunning, thanks to Kurt’s handmade wooden Chuppah and Allie’s gorgeous wedding florals. She did all of the florals for our wedding and we were totally blown away by their beauty!
We did a one day wedding rental, including renting the whole farmhouse for getting ready (there are separate sides where the bride and groom can get ready which was great) and stayed in one of the rooms upstairs for our wedding night. The space was so beautiful, clean, comfortable, and gave us a much needed landing place before, during, and after the wedding.
Planning a wedding can be stressful, but Allie was a great source of stability and consistency in the wedding planning chaos. She was professional, kind, and timely when communicating with us and with our various vendors. Over the many months of planning, Allie really listened to our preferences and priorities and worked really hard to bring our unique vision to life. From all of that hard work, our wedding was incredible!
All in all, we would absolutely recommend anyone looking to get married in Ithaca to get married at Osmica. You won’t regret it!

We got married at Osmica in October 2025 and it was the perfect fall Finger Lakes venue! Allie and Kurt were so responsive and helpful with the planning process - they answered all...
of our questions, were proactive in making sure we had everything we needed, and were overall incredibly reliable and generous with their time.
Having the property for the whole weekend made setup and takedown so easy, and we even hosted our farewell brunch in the barn on Sunday morning. The farmhouse is so cute and comfortable and has been lovingly restored, and it was the perfect spot for the bridal party to get ready on the morning of the wedding. My (now) husband and I stayed there all weekend which made the morning of the wedding so relaxing and special - we got to share a wonderful homemade breakfast just the 2 of us before everyone arrived and it's one of my favorite memories of the day.
The barn is a gorgeous, rustic space and hardly needs any additional decoration to look reception-ready! Allie offered lots of a la carte add-ons to customize our day - outdoor games, a triangle-shaped arbor for the ceremony, dish rentals, nice furniture for the hayloft, and heaters when it got chilly in the evening. She was so helpful as a day-of coordinator. We didn't have to interact with any of our vendors on the day of the wedding; she handled it all and made sure everything went smoothly, even the little details.
Some things make Osmica especially unique - it was more accessible for people with limited mobility than other similar venues in the area. They are really committed to sustainability and do as much as possible to reduce waste. And they are super personable and detail oriented - working with them really felt like working with small local business owners rather than a corporate "wedding factory" type of venue.
We are so glad we got married here and definitely recommend it!
We had our wedding at Osmica in September 2025 and wow, it was the best decision we've ever made. Planning a wedding can be a stressful experience, especially when you're doing it ...
remotely from North Carolina. We knew we wanted a rustic but upscale barn wedding in our hometown and found Osmica through various online searches. The property? Absolutely breathtaking. The views? Stunning. But the best part of all was Allie and Kurt. They're superheroes. They truly took so much stress off of our shoulders and we couldn’t imagine having our wedding anywhere else.
Allie was instrumental in executing our vision for the weekend from our first meeting 15 months before our wedding date. She guided us through the maze of vendors, rentals, flowers, potential layouts, etc. and helped us plan our weekend schedule with great care, flexibility, and attention to detail.
When it came to the wedding weekend, we hosted our rehearsal dinner and Friday evening welcome drinks at Osmica as well. Allie and Kurt provided set-up and clean-up for the dinner, creating a dreamy tablescape under the maple trees. The wedding day itself was smooth sailing and stress-free, thanks to Allie and Kurt's tireless preparation and hospitality. They communicated behind the scenes with every vendor to ensure a smooth run of show. This allowed us to be fully present on our wedding day. Allie also put together our bouquet and additional flowers on the pergola directly from the flower garden at the farm. Her creativity and artistry is seriously unmatched!!
Lastly, we have to shout out the farmhouse itself. Staying on-site with our family and friends was such a relaxing and a special bonus for the weekend. We especially loved the homemade, farm-fresh breakfasts we shared each morning. The rooms were clean, beautiful, and filled with thoughtful amenities. It provided the perfect, peaceful space for us to get ready together on the big day.
Allie and Kurt, thank you for making our wedding the best weekend of our lives.

ng day, and the whole weekend, so special. Being able to stay on site the whole weekend allowed us to have so much quality time with our friends and family from the rehearsal dinner to farewell breakfast, and times by the fire at night. The farmhouse breakfast was delicious, and thoughtfully planned to accommodate our wide range of dietary restrictions. Allie did an unbelievably beautiful job with the flowers and we are still getting compliments on them! She made every single arrangement with us in mind and they came out absolutely gorgeous. Allie and Kurt were both super helpful in coordinating with vendors as they arrived which made everything so easy. In addition to the wedding ceremony and reception, we hosted a rehearsal dinner and a farewell breakfast on site and Allie and Kurt helped everything run so smoothly. We ended up with absolutely perfect weather the whole weekend, but Allie was great about talking through different options with us in case it was cold or rainy. We did rent a tent heater for the barn since it was late October, which was great for peace of mind and easy to turn on or off if we needed. We love how focused on sustainability the venue is, and that we could really plan a wedding that reflected our values and our love of the area and of nature, and that was unique to us. There is so much room to make it your own. Allie worked with us throughout the planning process, answering questions, offering ideas, and sharing excellent vendor recommendations. She made sure to set up multiple check in times, but was also available to answer our random emails as things came up. Again, I wholeheartedly recommend Osmica, the venue is so special and Allie and Kurt are truly such kind, warm, wonderful people. Thank you, Allie and Kurt for a dream weekend. We feel so lucky to have gotten to know you both, to enjoy the farm for the weekend (and through your flowers and produce anytime we visited), and to have had the most magical day for our wedding.

When we toured Osmica in February of 2025, there was a foot of snow on the ground and a chill in the air. Even though the barn was cold and all of the plants were dormant - we knew...
this was the place for our wedding. Although the barn was beautiful and filled with character, and we could see the potential of the grounds come summer; we knew this was the place because of Allie and Kurt. Allie took her time showing us around, pointing out all of the restorations she and Kurt had done to the barn to bring it back to life, as well as all of the things they had rescued and restored in the main house. They were so kind and really cared about our day. We weren’t just another reservation on the grounds. Allie thoughtfully checked in every few months, answered all of our many questions, and even helped when we had trouble finding a caterer. When the day came, Allie walked us through our rehearsal, helping us understand what to do while never overstepping. She has it down to a science! The farm fresh breakfasts were phenomenal. She really heard what I wanted for my floral arrangements and bouquet and I couldn't have been happier. The day truly wouldn't have been what it was without Allie and Kurt. I know they were behind the scenes the whole time making the day flow smoothly. They sent us off with a bag of home grown produce and an honorary CSA membership. We truly can’t wait to go back and visit, to walk the mowed meadow paths and chat with them again.
Osmica is a dream! Allie and Kurt are gems and helped make our wedding so very special. From the beautiful property to the fun yard games, gorgeous renovated barn and hayloft to ...
the lovely overnight we spent at the B&B, it was an occasion we'll never forget. The space is flexible to have a ceremony indoors or out, space for live music, ample dance floor real estate, and the loft can be set up in different configurations for whatever suits the event.
Allie used flowers from the property to adorn the tables while Kurt managed catering deliveries, and they were amazing with set-up, tear-down, welcoming guests, and so much more. Allie communicated with us clearly about making sure we had the proper paperwork filed for having beer and wine on-site, and details for making things run smoothly on the day-of.
We booked a night at the B&B which was so fabulous - they've renovated the farm house with such charm and character, many things being up-cycled - and breakfast we had the next morning (with ingredients from the farm!) was scrumptious. We highly recommend Osmica for your wedding, or any special event!
It is hard to put into words how perfect Allie, Kurt, and Osmica were for our wedding. Our harvest themed October wedding was everything we could have envisioned and more, all of t...
he "more" due to Allie and Kurt. They were so wonderful to work with, from planning the space layout, using their recycled decorations, incorporating our homegrown produce with their homegrown flowers, it was all so beautiful and sustainable.
The touches of the converted milk barn resonated with our families and our farming background. The grounds provided so many beautiful locations for photos, kids to play, and enjoying the perfect fall day.
Beyond just the sublime reception, what we reminisce the most about from our wedding weekend was the stay at the farm house. Allie and Kurt provided extraordinary breakfasts from their gardens, great conversation about food preservation and tips for our own homestead, and the ability to relax in the hot tub.
We loved Osmica, Allie, and Kurt. We would highly recommend having any special event here, the space is perfect and you'll be able to create the best memories.
We are so grateful for the beautiful wedding that Allie and Kurt helped us to plan and host at Osmica at Spring Trail Farm!
Throughout the planning process, Allie was incredibly c...
ommunicative, organized, and attentive to our vision. She is extremely creative and helped us to bring all of our ideas to life! Allie also has many relationships and experience with local vendors, and was able to make recommendations and introductions to folks. Allie also helpfully reminded us about key tasks over time to keep us on track, which we greatly appreciated!
The venue itself is incredibly beautiful – there are walking paths through wildflowers, an impressive garden that supplied our floral arrangements and a lovely breakfast on our wedding day (both of which Allie and Kurt made for us), a beautiful farmhouse where we stayed the nights before and after and got ready in (which made logistics much easier), and scenic views. We couldn’t have asked for more. We’re even grateful to have been rained out of the outdoor ceremony that we planned – the hayloft is gorgeous and made for a dramatic backdrop.
We would get married at Osmica and hire Allie again in a heartbeat. We can’t wait to visit again in the years to come :)
We held our wedding here at the end of September 2023 - it was a fantastic venue with a beautiful, rustic setup with useful, modern touches!
First, I need to start with the propri...
etors - Allie and Kurt. Our process began more than a year before the big day - we were able to communicate remotely and even got a video FaceTime tour before even visiting the property which was super helpful as we narrowed down venues. Leading up to the day, Allie was always super communicative and open and that made us feel at ease as we tried to plan from afar. On the big day, Allie and Kurt made sure everything ran smoothly in the background and everything went off without a hitch.
Second, the cottage - part of the wedding package is a 2 night stay in the cottage and my only small critique is that I wish we had been able to spend MORE time there. The grounds were lovely, and Allie and Kurt have done a ton of work updating what clearly is an older house into a modern bed-and-breakfast stay. It was a very comfortable couple of nights and we were greeted with a farm-fresh breakfast every morning, utilizing a ton of the produce from the grounds itself.
Third, the barn - we had been targeting a "barn/farm" wedding experience and Osmica did not disappoint. One of the biggest factors for us were the modern bathrooms that meant we did not have to rent porta-potties. Other than that, the space is very well-appointed with a separate bar area, separate dance floor, and loft that we utilized to be a little refuge when people just wanted a quiet moment to themselves. Allie again came through with multiple floorplans that we could have picked from and made sure we were able to accommodate our different vendors in comfortable spaces.
Last but not least - the grounds. I did not explore as much as I wanted to due to the last minute planning and running around but all of our guests had a lovely time.
Our experience with Osmica, Allie, and Kurt was phenomenal. I am certainly no professional wedding planner but Allie and Kurt made our day go by without any major hitches and their friendliness to not only us but our guests was especially appreciated. I am certainly not hoping to have another wedding any time (ever) but I do hope to go back to visit one day! I am sure Allie and Kurt will continue to build out and update Osmica so it is an even better venue than it was in 2023.
We hosted our wedding at Osmica, and we could not be happier with our choice. Allie and Kurt went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and make sure our weekend was exactly wha...
t we were envisioning. The farm-fresh breakfasts each morning of our stay were absolutely incredible, as well as the pastries that Allie made for us. They were wonderfully helpful in making sure we had everything we needed on the day of our wedding and helping to make sure all the extras we wanted were arranged and taken care of.
The venue itself is absolutely stunning. You can see the love and care Allie and Kurt have poured into the farmhouse and the barn to turn it into the most magical setting. It is the perfect farmhouse chic setting. And since it is a working farm, there are gorgeous flowers and scenery around every corner. We can't recommend Osmica at Spring Trail Farm enough!!
I don’t know how else to say this: There is not a single reason to NOT have your wedding here. Allie and Kurt are the most wonderful people who own the most wonderful venue. The pr...
operty is really quite spacious – the barn is big enough to hold basically the entire wedding and reception from start to finish (in case of bad weather, which thankfully we did not have!) and the grounds between the barn and the beautiful house are big enough for a large tent, outdoor ceremony, lawn games, and plenty of people! The vistas and views of the cornfield and hills are insane, enough to impress our guests from California, Hawaii, and Germany! The two of them put clearly so much effort into the details of restoring the barn and the house, and that labor of love is evident throughout the entire property in a way that really adds to the day. You can stay in the house during your whole time there which is great because it means you don’t have to worry about arriving and leaving on your wedding day. We had the property beginning on Friday and hosted a great pizza night for any of guests who would be in town. The morning of our wedding (as well as the morning after) they made us a fantastic breakfast with ingredients from their garden. The house we stayed in and got ready in is beautiful and very comfortable to stay in. The vendors all loved the venue as well, and everyone worked together to create an absolutely ideal wedding. Allie and Kurt will be there every step of the way working with you and your vendors to make the weekend go smoothly, and they are always there to offer their help in decorating (they have tons of fresh flowers, lanterns, you name it). Almost everyone who came to our wedding told us that this was the best wedding they had ever been to, and that was in no small part thanks to this amazing location and these two great people.
Pros:
-Much more affordable than many of the other venues in the area
-The venue gives you so much flexibility with how you want to design your day and setup your décor
-You can stay on the property in a beautiful remodeled historic home with some amazing breakfasts and a hot tub
-The VIEWS
-The barn is big enough to have a large wedding ENTIRELY inside in case of weather
-The owners work incredibly well with whatever vendors you will set up, are incredibly responsive to emails and will do much of the handiwork the weekend of your wedding as well as setup and takedown.
Cons:
-NONE.

rfect and how we wanted it all weekend. From putting together a gorgeous rehearsal dinner in the hayloft, to bringing my vision to life of hanging our custom neon sign, to quietly solving countless day of challenges that popped up so that we didn't stress (dealing with missing items from our rental order, filling in additional decor items, jumping in to help set items up), they were the pillars of our whole wedding weekend. It truly would not have come together the way it did without them. In addition to that, we stayed in the gorgeous renovated farm house and were treated to amazing breakfasts with food straight from the farm each morning. This place will always hold a special place in our hearts and we can't wait to go back to celebrate our anniversary!

barn. The huge barn and charming farmhouse are immaculately restored, and there are seriously amazing photo opportunities everywhere you look. The whole place oozes rustic charm!
The owners of Osmica, Allie and Kurt, were a real pleasure to work with. They were so personable and went above and beyond to help us with our plans and make sure the venue was in ship-shape for our events. They were happy to help hammer out all the details (including multiple site visits) and very helpful with ideas about how best to use their space. They were super supportive in helping our team of friends and family decorate and prepare while seamlessly directing our various vendors to the right places. They even hastily wiped off all the tables in the barn when our Friday rehearsal dinner under the maples was suddenly threatened by a huge thunderstorm. But even the storm was magical at Osmica and was followed by a double rainbow! Our late-July wedding weekend was hot, but Osmica is high on a hillside and seemed to always have a breeze, and the barn remained pleasantly cool the whole time. Allie and Kurt made sure it was incredibly clean.
We stayed in the Osmica farmhouse for two nights with two other couples who had infants, and we found it so relaxing and easy to just wake up at Osmica, have a tasty homemade farm-fresh breakfast, sit in the hammock, and then get married! It was a wonderful home for the weekend, and we got so much more than just a wedding venue. Allie and Kurt have created something wonderful, and we feel so lucky to have had our special wedding weekend at Osmica!
Osmica is a beautiful place and the care and attention the owners, Allie and Kurt, have put into it is truly exceptional. I'm not super visual, but Allie let us come by a few extr...
a time before the wedding and was kind enough to set up some sample tables so we could get a feel for what different set ups might look like. We purchased paper lanterns and Allie and Kurt hung string lights, which made the space look so nice. I would unreservedly recommend this space, especially if you have an interest in doing some of your own designing/decorating.
We highly recommend Osmica at Spring Trail Farm and are very glad that we had our wedding there! We were married in September 2020. Our wedding was small (12 guests), due to pand...
emic restrictions. One of the things we liked best about Spring Trail Farm was that we were able to arrive early and spend the day onsite getting ready. This allowed us to feel relaxed rather than rushed. We took time to walk around outdoors and enjoy the beautiful scenery.
Kurt and Allie were incredibly gracious, hospitable, and helpful hosts. They worked with us to set up the ceremony the way that we wanted it, and they were onsite to help during the wedding. The morning after the wedding, they prepared a delicious breakfast for us and our immediate families with locally sourced ingredients. Overall, Spring Trail Farm far exceeded our expectations for a wedding venue; in fact, we recently spent a night at the bed and breakfast there to celebrate our one-year anniversary!
I cannot find the words to describe how pleasant my experience at Osmica was! I was married there on 10/2/21. Kurt and Allie could not have been more accommodating, but even furth...
er, they exuded an energy of genuine care about me, my husband, and the other house guests.
The rooms are carefully curated to preserve the original history of the house (which had been built in 1794). Allie and Kurts impeccable blend of modern and vintage decor shone through the house. Everything was neat, each room had temperature control and en-suite bathroom which was a huge plus!
As far as my wedding goes, they were ever present but maintained the perfect distance. If we needed any assistance Allie was there to help but if we were sharing a moment with family we had the perfect space. We do not live in the area so they facilitated all the deliveries of rentals which was so helpful, truly above and beyond!
Kurt and Allie run a fully sustainable farm so the food we were served was grown all or mostly on premises. I’m talking fresh watermelon, cantaloupe, edible flowers as garnishes, you name it. They were even kind enough to send us home with some fresh seasonal produce.
I cannot say how happy I am with Kurt, Allie and the beauty of their home, farm and hospitality. I would absolutely recommend this venue!
Our wedding weekend at Osmica was so incredibly special and everything exceeded our expectations. Although we planned the wedding from afar, we worked on logistics with Allie over ...
the phone. We stayed in the farm house for two nights with our parents in their three beautifully decorated rooms - modern but with original farmhouse accents. Allie and Kurt made us delicious breakfast both mornings using fresh fruit and vegetables from their garden. On the day of the wedding, Allie used a mix of wedding decorations they had (a pergola, table centerpieces, lights..) and flowers we bought to create such a picturesque backdrop for our ceremony and dinner. She consulted me at every step to ensure I liked the design. The hair and makeup vendors came to the venue and we got ready in one of the rooms. All the vendors raved about the venue and wondered why they hadn't been booked there before. Allie and Kurt even planted a cherry tree on their property for us to commemorate our wedding. Allie and Kurt were timely, professional, communicative, respectful, and flexible when our schedule shifted. We would recommend this venue to anyone!
From the initial tour of Osmica, the venue seemed to be the perfect place to have our wedding and after being graciously welcomed by owners Allie and Kurt, we were sold.
For our...
wedding day we imagined a place where our friends and family could celebrate, hopefully outdoors, where we could all relax and enjoy being together. At one time during the planning process Allie and Kurt had said they wanted Osmica to feel like our home for the weekend, and it did just that.
The vast and picturesque farm had multiple options for the ceremony/ reception and Allie and Kurt helped us to determine what would work best for our group. The beautifully restored B&B with farmhouse breakfast was loved by our small group of guests who stayed for the weekend. The barn wasn't quite finished at the time of our celebration, but Kurt and Allie made sure to show us the pink and red summer sunset visible from inside, making for great pictures. Our wedding tables were decorated with flowers straight from the garden, mulberries from a bush in full bloom were added to baked goods shared with our guests, and an expertly refurbished table was brought out to be used for our wedding desserts. These are just a few of the ways in which Allie and Kurt helped to make the weekend extra special. Sitting around the campfire after our reception, all our guests were already hoping for a reunion at Osmica for next year. The event was loved by all! Prior to leaving on Sunday Allie took us through the vegetable garden and put together an Osmica care package of ample vegetables that were in season. The weekend was truly memorable and we can't thank Osmica enough!
Throughout the process Allie and Kurt easy to work with, responsive to questions, gave great suggestions on how to make the most of the space, helped in planning and overall, helped to make us both feel more relaxed for the actual wedding day. My now husband and I can't wait to come back just the two of us for another Osmica B&B stay!
Other helpful notes:
-Our guests who did not stay at the B&B were either local or easily found an Airbnb.
-I was able to get my wedding bouquet from the Ithaca Farmers Market that morning, which came out beautiful.
-The Farmers Market was a close and fun activity for guests looking for something to do prior to the ceremony.
-Local trails/paths were easily accessible for those wanting to get in some exercise throughout the weekend.
-Osmica easily worked with our other vendors.
-We had a pizza party for our rehearsal dinner on Friday night and Kurt & Allie gave suggestions for local places, which turned out great.
