best caterer, DJ, and florist (that were very fairly priced) and everything turned out amazing. We had our ceremony at the gazebo outside and the reception in the event center inside. We had toured other places that were more expensive and/or not as nice. Here you get a gorgeous venue that includes an amazing reception area and very nice bathrooms in the same building (I didn't realize the importance until we toured a more expensive venue where you had to walk across the gravel parking lot up some stairs to get to basically an outhouse- not so great for elderly guests especially). Ample parking, lovely views, great get-ready spaces for bride and groom, and friendly staff. Plus their wine is so good! For a high-stress day as-is, I felt like everything was under control, and all I had to worry about was not tripping or choking on my vows ;).

it was not quite finished when we had our ceremony but the grounds were still beautiful and well taken care of. They did all of the set up and take down so we didn't have to worry about a thing! It was an extremely hot Saturday evening but the indoor tasting room and covered dance floor provided a lot of space for everyone to cool down. The wine and beer was included in the price of the venue which was an incredible value. They opened almost all of their wines by request and were generous with pours while still making sure no one got out of control. All of our guests had an amazing time. My only issue with this venue is that they are completely disorganized when it comes to planning an event. We met with Derek, the event planner, multiple times before the wedding and he was always very laid back about the number of guests, using the venue for a ceremony (as we were not originally going to do this), he never asked us to provide him with any specific information and while he was always quick to respond to emails he never had any input on what we were communicating. Three days before the event I sent an email asking about some final questions and he immediately responded telling me we had been unclear about timing of the events and guests count and that he was going to increase the cost of the event (luckily this did not happen as we were actually under the original guest count and well within contract) on the day of the event he informed us that my flower girl could not drop rose petals because I had not asked his permission first. We had many guests complain about his professionalism during the event as he walked around looking angry and making comments that were not professional. Had Derek been more organized and communicated expectations upfront before we booked the event it would have been the perfect venue. I hope they get these things figured out before their ceremony site is ready to go!
