Working with Ian at OtherBrother was great - he was so easy to work with and answered all of our questions about booking DJ Wade. We gave DJ Wade a few parameters and must-play songs and he executed everything perfectly! The party was non-stop from first dances to the last dance of the night. He controlled the flow of the evening and knew when to switch things up. We got a ton of compliments throughout the night from guests of all ages saying how great he was doing and how much fun he was having! Highly recommend DJ Wade for your wedding reception and ceremony needs!!

I do not know how to thank DJ Wade, Clark, and all of OtherBrother Entertainment enough for their role in my wedding. My husband and I were really skeptical that our guests would dance because they just aren't big dancers in general. Boy were we wrong. DJ Wade and Clark DELIVERED!!! Everyone, and I mean every single person, got on that dancefloor. Wade and Clark read the crowd perfectly, MC'd the perfect amount (not talking too much or too little), and they brought the perfect energy for the whole night. I received lots of compliments on our whole wedding, but more than anything else, people raved about our DJ and saxophone player. No one could stop talking about them! Additionally, OtherBrother was so easy to work with from beginning to end. Planning a wedding is stressful, but they took all the pressure off and made the process so easy. Thank you, OtherBrother, for helping make our wedding the best night of our lives.

DJ Ede with OtherBrother Entertainment FAR exceeded our expectations. Not only is he personable and easy to work with, he also perfectly interpreted our taste in music and absolutely crushed the cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing sets. DJ Ede went above and beyond for us, and I will recommend him over and over!

DJ Smartz and Other Brother Entertainment were a great addition to our wedding day. They were very easy to work with and super responsive to all questions via email. We used them for sound for the ceremony and cocktail hour and DJ Smartz as the DJ for our reception and everything went seamlessly. We would highly recommend using them for your big day!

DJ Wade from OtherBrother Entertainment completely blew us away. We had a small-ish wedding in Oct 2022 with 57 guests (including ourselves) and our biggest worry about downsizing our wedding was whether people were going to be having fun on the dance floor or just awkwardly standing around. I can say that DJ Wade completely blew everyone away and he had the dance floor filled the entire night! Guests still tell us that he was the most fun DJ they've ever experienced at a wedding!! Thank you, DJ Wade, for making our night SO FUN for everyone!

DJ Wade was amazing!! He kept everyone (young and old) on the dance floor all night long and was very accommodating to special requests. He magically transitioned from song to song, genre to genre, and made our night one to remember. Even one of my bridesmaids requested his playlist for her upcoming wedding!

We used DJ Ede from OtherBrothers Entertainment, he was AMAZING. We sent him a short playlist with some of our favorite songs and he curated a night of awesome music from that. We danced the night away along with some other special touches he added in we had the most fun party!

DJ SMARTS is the best! He played a wide variety of old music and new, which helped get our guest of all ages on the dance floor. Everyone was dancing all night and we all had the best time! Definitely recommend him!

DJ WADE IS PHENOMENAL!!! Better than we could have ever imagined and dear god are we happy we hired him!! He was the talk of the wedding and he truly delivered on every possible level! We never left the dance floor, our guests never left the dance floor, and even our vendors couldn't help but dance. The man is a creative genius and simply loves what he does. He knows how to read the crowd and manages to appeal to everyone in the audience from the young, old, or anywhere in between. We never had those moments where we wished a different song was playing or that he failed to play one of our favorites...he just nailed it from start to finish. We would hire DJ Wade 1000 times over and 1000 times again. Best decision ever!

Wow! Bryan Mahanes was the talk of our wedding, our friends & family are still talking about how talented he is & how fun he made our day. There are a lot of things involved when selecting vendors for your wedding. My husband and I truly believe that there are vendors who are the perfect fit for each couple. We had DJ Wade and just think we were not the right match. This is not a review on Wade as a person at all. DJ Wade is a cool guy. He is great at communicating, good at typical formalities when it came to the ceremony, and passionate about his job. But unfortunately, we still think about what our reception might have been like if we had someone different. Months after our wedding, the music was still top of our conversations when reminiscing about our day. I’ll never remove the memory of my husband turning to me and saying “why is he playing all of this old music? We didn’t request this much.” I felt like my husband wasn’t enjoying his wedding reception. Eventually, we spoke with Wade and he addressed some of our concerns by sending us the entire playlist from our wedding. This included about half of the songs that we requested and about half of the other songs that he selected. Perhaps we should have been more clear that we didn’t want any more “older” songs played than what was on our request list but our feelings still stand true even after discussing the situation with Wade. There were also a lot of songs that we just didn’t like and would have absolutely hit next on the radio if we heard them, but I suppose that’s hard for anyone (even a DJ) to know. Our guests still filled the dance floor and had a good time but they were going to be on the dance floor regardless, because that's just who our family and friends are. We’re not saying DJ Wade isn’t the way to go but we truly believe that there is a DJ out there for everyone and we just advise future couples to choose wisely and be specific with your requests.

I had heard The Midnight City band play at a friend's wedding and knew they were guaranteed to get the party started. When it came time to plan my own wedding, my (now) husband and I knew that our priority for our recetption was having a huge dance party. Booking The Midnight City band was hands- down the best decision we could have made... in fact, we picked our wedding date based on when the band was available :) We still have guests talk about how much fun the reception was and how awesome our band was, especially the 90's music mashup. Highly recommend this band if you want to pack the dance floor.

Let me start by saying that one of the hardest decisions of our entire wedding was band vs. DJ. We went back and forth numerous times and I would make the same decision over and over and over again! From the first moment I spoke to DJ Wade over the phone, I knew he wanted the best day and atmosphere for Corey and my special day. I gave him very little guidance in regards to what music to play and BOY DID HE DELIVER. He kept the dancefloor PACKED all night long and guests from age 2 to 82 were dancing until the last song ended. I have had so many people come tell me that our wedding was the most fun wedding they had ever been to and I 1000000% attribute this to DJ Wade. We are now his biggest fans and are going to scope out at where he's DJing in Charleston now! Cannot recommend him enough and cannot thank him enough for making our day all that it was!!!!

The Lowhills were an incredible addition to our wedding! We first heard them play at a friend's wedding and knew we wanted them for ours. I requested a specific song to walk down the aisle to and they learned it no problem and performed it beautifully! They were very accommodating and easy to work with! I only wish that I hadn't been so busy speaking to guests so I could have listened to them more closely during our cocktail hour!

We hired Midnight City Band via OtherBrother Entertainment - between 3 bands, there wasn't a competition, Midnight City won hands down. Before the wedding, we followed them around Charleston (Folly Beach and Shem Creek) to hear them live.. not only is the band phenomenal, but you can tell they love what they do and have so much fun doing it! They played during our ceremony, the cocktail hour and the reception! We had so much fun and danced our butts off... It took us ages to finalize our ceremony songs (all on us), but Midnight City worked with us... as close as before the ceremony while we were taking pictures, Brian from Midnight City played the versions he thought were best to confirm that we were happy and felt good about the songs/renditions. Highly recommend Midnight City band!!

DJ Smartz was out of this world GREAT! We were bummed when we realized we did not have the funds for a band, but after finding DJ Smartz, we do not regret the decision for a DJ over a band one bit! Jeff went out of his way to get our playlist, and speak with us on multiple occasions. He even recorded our first song that we sang to each other, and surprised us with it! I cannot reccomend DJ Smartz, or OtherBrother Entertainment enough! Thank you!

I would HIGHLY recommend DJ Smartz for your wedding! He is extremely professional and his transitions from song to song were flawless! My guest were raving about him all night. Every single person was on the dance floor having a great time. I have attended many weddings on the east coast and he was by far the best DJ I have come across.

We had DJ Mateo from Other Brother Entertainment be our DJ and songmaster for our wedding about a week ago. My only regret is that we did not use him for longer! He found all of the songs that we wanted to be a part of our ceremony and our dances (though that definitely could not have been easy, it was pretty eclectic). He was able to get a lot of our guests out on the dancefloor with the song choices, and even incorporated a special pick from both my dad and my mom. He was incredibly professional but so much fun. I would highly recommend him to DJ your wedding!

OtherBrother Entertainment was fantastic to work with. They made it super simple by providing a list of DJs and samples of their sets so we could see what each DJ provided. DJ Brandie was phenomenal! Her mix of older and newer hits had the whole venue up and dancing the entire night. The way she remixed songs in new and refreshing ways made the wedding unique and exciting every time the song changed. DJ Brandie made the night for us. Every guest we've talked to has complimented the music. I highly suggest using Brandie for your upcoming wedding.

After doing some research for my destination wedding in Charleston I decided to go with DJ Wade. I can confidently say it was the best decision. My husband and I were blown away by what an awesome job he did. He completely understood what we wanted to hear and what got the crowd going. We couldn’t be more happy with how the night turned out and that’s thanks to him. He kept the crowd on the dance floor all night long. We love DJ Wade!!

Bryan the DJ was absolutely incredible!!! We don’t even know where to begin...Bryan worked with us leading up to the wedding to understand what type of music we both liked, to get a sense of what our expectations were and to truly make sure that our wedding reception was not only fun, but personalized for us. And he FAR exceeded expectations! The dance floor was packed the WHOLE night long...Bryan didn’t just play from a set playlist....instead, he used his amazing talent to read the energy in the room and play the right songs to keep the party going! Everyone is still talking about how much fun they had and how great our DJ was. Bryan truly set the tone for a fun, dance-filled night and our reception couldn’t have been more perfect! Also, the entire team at Other Brother Entertainment was incredible to work with. From the moment we first started talking to OBE, through the entire planning process, they were so helpful and quick to respond to any/all of our questions. We can’t recommend them enough!

We booked DJ Wade for our wedding and we really couldn't have been happier with our choice. We knew Wade in advance and sought him out because of his style and energy. Even having chose him specifically we couldn't have known how perfect he would be for our day. Bryan also played acoustic guitar during our cocktail hour, and it added such a special touch to the event. We had such a fantastic time and everyone in attendance told me how awesome he was. BOONIE BEVINS. Wow wow WOW. We fell in love with Boonie's angelic voice from watching her videos through Other Brother Entertainment while in search for some live music during our cocktail hour. We were hooked on her talent and hired her for both the ceremony and cocktail hour. She brought her very talented sister and we cannot get over the sound that came from these two. Even my loud Italian family from NY stopped to listen to them in awe... they even brought tears to the eyes of some pretty tough men during the ceremony. Simply amazing. Thank you guys so so soooo much as Boonie's voice was a memorable highlight to our beautiful day. People are still talking about her as I keep playing back videos of her singing our first dance.

OtherBrother Entertainment was excellent to work with! Due to issues with our initial venue, we had to change both our date and venue and they were flexible and made sure we had everything we wanted in our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception music. The large projection screen they provided allowed us to not only do a personalized photo and video montage, but DJ Wade truly maximized it by incorporating music videos that played along with our music selections - a great surprise and awesome touch. DJ Wade went above and beyond, taking our unique and last-minute requests and providing entertainment that had all of our guests laughing, crying and dancing all night! We had multiple people the night of and days after tell us that he was hands-down the best DJ they had every seen. We can't recommend Wade and OtherBrother Entertainment enough!

OtherBrother Entertainment was suggested to us by our wedding coordinator. And they did not disappoint! We booked DJ Wade and he was fantastic! He was so full of energy and able to read a crowd and seemed to know just what to play. He was also so accommodating to particular music I wanted to be played while guest were being seated and during cocktail hour. He was in contact with me prior to the wedding and so helpful, I had cut music for our first dance and my father daughter dance and he was able to play it for me as well. He even played along when my cut music started to "skip". Everyone fell for it and loved that he played along cause it made it seem so real. I can't say enough great things about DJ Wade! If your looking for a great DJ look no further...He was flawless!

10/5 stars. We used Other Brother Entertainment to book our band - The Midnight City. We had been watching the band for quite some time - and they were actually a huge part of our story from moving to Charleston, getting engaged and getting married! We absolutely love them. Other Brother was organized, responsive and helpful along the planning process. And not that we expected any different, but the band was AMAZING. They were friendly, outgoing, helpful on site and a HIT with all of our guests. I don't think I left the dance floor unless I absolutely had to. Our guests are still raving about the band and we have taken our Charleston friends to see Midnight City at least once a week since. They played an array of music, starting the night out slower and ending it playing some of our favorite songs from the 90's to now. We have the best memories singing and dancing with our friends and family and could not have asked for a better entertainment group!

Bryan was our DJ for our destination wedding. He was FANTASTIC! He kept us on the dance floor all night. Our guests, from kids to adults had so much fun with him. There is no question, he is top notch!!

I wish I could give them 10 stars because that is how good our experience was with OtherBrother! They set us up with The Midnight City and going with them was the best decision we made in the entire wedding planning process. They played all of the songs we requested and learned a few to perform at our wedding as well! Every guest was dancing and the energy was incredible. Everyone was asking me about the band! They band members were very sweet also, and made us feel very special! We can't say enough good things about The Midnight City!

We booked DJ Smartz for our wedding and it was beyond our expectations! He did a great job making sure our guests enjoyed the music and were up and dancing which was important to both my husband and I (we wanted a party!) ! DJ Smartz was super professional and super light hearted, he also loves what he does as a professional which makes the atmosphere so much more enjoyable! I would recommend him alone to anyone and everyone! OtherBrother Entertainment was super professional and easy to get in contact with throughout the whole wedding planning process, which made the experience stress free and enjoyable! This was honestly one of our favorite vendors and my husband and I are looking to throw another party just so we can have so much fun with OtherBrother Entertainment again!! Best vendor ever!!

I can't say enough wonderful things about OtherBrother Entertainment and DJ Bryan!! From booking with him to our wedding reception, our whole experience was amazing. We were coming from out of town and I didn't really know much about Charleston. I contacted OtherBrother Entertainment because of the awesome reviews. I talked with DJ Bryan and from the very beginning he was professional, knowledgeable, relaxed but still thorough. We talked about what music my husband and I wanted at our reception and what we were looking for. He was so personable and made us feel that he was genuinely excited to be a part of our special day. When it came time for our wedding he was incredible. He played guitar during our cocktail hour, which I'm actually really sad we missed because our guests loved it! Then he knocked our reception out of the park! Everyone was dancing for almost the whole time, which is exactly what we wanted. He really made our reception! We are still getting compliments over how amazing our DJ was! I would highly recommend OtherBrother Entertainment and especially DJ Bryan. He really was the best and surpassed all of our expectations! We also booked a photo booth with them, and our guests loved that as well! It's so much fun to see all the pictures and everyone having a great time!

DJ Josh was phenomenal! He kept all of our guests on the dance floor and was very respectful of clearing requests with us before playing them (wayyyy too many people requested Brick House). OtherBrother was also great at communicating with us throughout the process. Can't recommend them enough!

We booked DJ Mateo thorough OtherBrother Entertainment, and had the best experience. We were sent a questionnaire a few weeks before our wedding, asking about special songs (first dance, father/daughter dance, etc), music styles we liked, timeline of the day and for any additional information that may be helpful for Mateo to know. With this questionnaire, DJ Mateo was able to guarantee that we loved the music he played at our wedding and that he knew our timeline. The music was perfect the whole evening, it changed from more low-key during dinner to up-beat danceable songs into the evening. There was never a dull moment on the dance floor, and everyone had so much fun. DJ Mateo was even able to accommodate special requests from us and our guests during the evening. Our 2 year old niece is obsessed with the song More, More, More from the target commercial, and somehow he was even able to find that song and play it for her. Overall, DJ Mateo was an excellent choice for our wedding, and we would 100% recommend him to anyone looking for a wedding DJ.

We booked Two Three Ways for our wedding and they absolutely rocked it! From coordinating our ceremony and cocktail hour music, to the awesome set list they played through our reception, our guests danced the night away and we are so thrilled that we were able to work with them for our special day! Ian was so helpful throughout the planning process, and made sure everything went off without a hitch. If you want to have an amazing party that your guests will never stop talking about, look no further!!

DJ Wade was INCREDIBLE!!! Our guests never left the dance floor. Every single song Wade played was better than the next. He completely felt out the crowd and absolutely made the party what it was. We honestly didn’t think it could get better and then Seth started playing on the violin alongside Wade! WOW. We were completely floored as were our guests!! DJ Bryan Mahanes is a MUST for your wedding! He had the best playlist and amazing energy! Everything ran so smoothly and our guests couldn’t stop talking about how much fun they had! Bryan was amazing! He helped me and was very kind with me after I️ had my initial DJ bail on me (thank God for that)! Bryan was responsive the whole step of the way! Having a destination wedding wasn’t easy from afar but he made it a pleasure. I️ had a large Hispanic wedding and he accommodated accordingly! He even brought another Hispanic DJ with him as a surprise! It was a pleasure to work with him! HIGHLY RECOMMEND

My now husband and I booked OtherBrother Entertainment for our outdoor wedding on October 21st. I'll admit I was skeptical at first due to spotty communication early on in the contract, but once meeting Josh all my doubts disappeared. He was kind, humble, and down-to-earth. He had people dancing the whole night and even checked in with me before the reception began to inform me the Father Daughter Dance was going to be 10 seconds longer than planned (dad's choice). I thought this act of thoughtfulness on his part was so sweet.

We booked DJ Byran Mahanes with Other Brother and he is the best!!! Seriously, he made our night. From start to finish, the dance floor was PACKED. Young and old, people danced all night, and that was no accident. We wanted a 70's, yacht rock and funk kind of vibe, and to say Bryan delivered is an understatement. He genuinely had a blast playing all the songs we wanted to hear and helped make everything like speeches and cake cutting super seamless, so giant thank you to Bryan and Other Brother Entertainment. Bryan - we'll have to come see you DJ live next time we're in Charleston!!!

We had The Midnight City band perform during our wedding. They were absolutely amazing! They played a great variety of music and had everyone up and dancing. They were really helpful with song selection and any specific requests that we had. They even played a song after my maid of honor mentioned it during her speech! Would highly highly recommend!

DJ Eddie had everyone dancing. He was so much fun to be around! The music was absolutely perfect! My husband and I went back and forth about live band vs DJ. The advice I would give to any couple is that if you want a diverse range of music, go for the DJ. He was able to set the mood for my entrance, cocktail hour and really fun reception. He was so cool about my guest and husband singing karaoke to some music. He was so sweet. I think he made our wedding more magically.

The Midnight City (through OtherBrother Entertainment) played for our wedding ceremony and reception in Charleston, SC. They were absolutely AMAZING!!! I was so impressed that they were willing to learn 3 new songs for our event, including 2 acoustic ceremony songs and our first dance song. The acoustic duo with vocals during the ceremony added the perfect personal touch of our taste in music to our nontraditional event. The full band performance during the reception exceeded our expectations. They played a variety of music, taking into consideration the vibes and energy of the crowd. I’ve gotten so many compliments on how great and FUN our wedding band was, and I am so glad I chose The Midnight City for the job. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for an awesome band in the Charleston area.

We booked DJ Wade for our March 5, 2017 wedding at Magnolia Plantation (ceremony music and reception) and he was AMAZING! The songs just seemed to flow and he did a perfect balance of dancing music that everyone could enjoy from the young 20s people up to our grandparents in their 90s. Everyone was raving after the wedding about how great the music was and how they barely got off the dance floor all night! We requested for the ceremony acoustic versions of some classic wedding songs and DJ Wade found the exact ones we wanted and everything was just flawless! I would highly recommend DJ Wade to anyone looking for a fun/high energy DJ that's going to keep your guests going all night long.

Other Brother was one of the best choices we made for our wedding! From a management standpoint Trey and Ian were responsive and accommodating. They worked with us to rent equipment for our ceremony and set it up. And despite a major hiccup with our original DJ falling ill on our rehearsal night, they secured DJ Bryan Mahanes for us. And then DJ Bryan NAILED IT. He made our wedding an absolute blast. The dance floor was packed from the first dance to the last - literally. In just a day's notice, Bryan made us a custom first dance sequence that we will all remember forever. It was truly incredible. Bryan captured every little detail and our guests loved him too. In fact, he may have put more thought and care into it all than even we even did!

I am so very disappointed in the performance of Mateo at our family wedding. The wedding song was WRONG x3 and they didn't have the wedding song and had to upload the music before the newlyweds could dance their first dance - it was so sloppy and sad, however, the bride and groom were surrounded by love and it was laughed away in good spirit.... but the DJ didn't do the things that we asked such as asking people to visit the photo booth, nor did he make an announcement of a lost bracelet that we had asked him to do. Very disappointed at the performance and would never recommend him.

Bryan did our wedding and it was absolutely hands down the best choice we could have made. He did not miss a beat with all of our song selections and had every single wedding guest dancing for hours. We have received countless messages about who did our music. Bryan also provided acoustic guitar for our cocktail hour and music for the ceremony that blew people away. If you are thinking about booking with him, I highly suggest you do it!

Bryan Mahanes was the DJ for our reception and he did an incredible job! He kept everyone on the dance floor and the dancing lasted the entire night. He stayed away from my 'no play' list which I greatly appreciated and played great music. He was nice and very fun! I would recommend him to anyone who is looking for a great DJ (especially if they love classic rock)!

Hire DJ B-Mahanes. Just do it. He is the best DJ. From the moment we met, we clicked. He is the owner of his company, Other Brother Entertainment, and is such a down to earth guy. After our first meeting, we went to Prohibition on King Street to see him in action – it was awesome. We hired Bryan to do the music for our ceremony, cocktail hour, the reception, and the dance party, and we could not have made a better decision. To make the event flow more smoothly, he set up a station at the ceremony location and the reception – there was no lugging equipment between the two portions. His music was on point for every part of the day. Music was at the perfect level for the ceremony and cocktail hour. He did not miss a beat during introductions, speeches, first dances, or anything - there was no stumbling over names of wedding party members, which I have seen at so many of my friends’ weddings, and after the formalities were over, he kept the guests on the dance floor all night!! He even let one of our guests “Co-DJ” for a minute, which was hilarious! We had a number of our guests comment that he was the best DJ they had ever seen at a wedding, and I agree!! We had a couple of requests prior the big day that Bryan really came through for us on – we shortened the song we chose for our first dance and the mother/son dance, and Bryan spliced it perfectly. You couldn’t even tell a verse had been removed. For the father/daughter dance, my dad and I danced to “What a Wonderful World” but had the song turn into a flash mob with the Time Warp – Bryan was able to make it happen for us and sent us the finished product a few days in advance so my family knew when the flash mob was going to take place. It was such a fun thing for my family, and I am so grateful for Bryan for making it happen – he was totally on board with the idea and loved it! With Bryan, we did not have a single thing to worry about all night – from discussions prior, he knew the vibe we were going for, the songs we wanted for specific dances/introductions, and our definite do not plays. From processional to send-off, I could not have asked for more. Thank you DJ B-Mahanes and Other Brother Entertainment!! You made our night perfect!

Other Brother Entertainment was great and DJ Wade was BRILLIANT!!! We were recommended to contact Other Brother by our amazing Photographer Wanda at Richard Bell Photography. We contacted Kevin and she was great. She helped us narrow down the selection to what we wanted and we found DJ Wade. We were so lucky that he was available for our wedding because he was THE BEST PART, outside of getting married and all. The party was amazing. He is worth every penny and more. He was able to read the crowd, get everyone excited and even helped the groom surprise me (the bride) during the ceremony. What a lively and friendly person – hair, attitude and smile!!! Great to work with! We loved having him at the wedding and wish that I could make everyone in Charleston choose him for their wedding!!! Our guests our still taking about how much fun they had dancing. DJ WAAAAADDDEEE! We had an outside wedding in Charleston, it rained in the afternoon and was humid all evening, but after DJ Wade got the party started it didn’t stop!! With sweat dripped guests and dancing fools, our reception was perfect thanks to DJ Wade and everyone at Other Brother. I have to also say Ian, one of the coordinators for the group, is so quick with emails! We were planning from afar, and did not meet or talk with DJ Wade until the wedding but Ian made everything so easy and I felt very comforted by the fact that he took every detail seriously and professionally. I was able to ask questions and address concerns about weather and music up to a few days before the wedding. What an amazing group of people. Thank you all!!

OtherBrother Entertainment did not disappoint! Bryan, the owner was great to work with from the beginning! DJ Josh was great and knew how to engage the crowd and was great with his musical selection. Thank you for making our day awesome and keeping our wedding guests on the dance floor ! Mission accomplished ! :)
