We cannot recommend Our Day Events enough. We had the pleasure of having Karthika as our lead coordinator. She was so responsive to all of our questions and would speak to vendors on our behalf, ensuring that our vision became reality. Despite having a tight schedule, we got compliments that everything ran on time ahd almost to the minute. They made sure everything was on schedule and was so organized and we can’t thank them enough!

Choosing ODE as our day-of coordinator was the best decision we could have ever made. We are incredibly grateful for Anisha, Karthika & the rest of the team who worked so hard to make our big day go incredibly smooth. From our very first meeting with Anisha, we could tell how professional, friendly, and passionate she was about what she does. We were then connected right away with Karthika - her communication was top notch and she made sure we stayed on top of everything wedding related. We eventually met weekly to go over our wedding timeline & her attention to detail while prioritizing our wants and needs was amazing. The team also made sure our family nd bridal party were all in the loop and well-prepared for the big day. On our actual wedding day, they were by our side every step of the way making sure we went through our timeline items efficiently and, most importantly, making sure us, our family, bridal party & guests were stress-free and having the best time. Our wedding was the best, most memorable day in our lives & we owe a big part of it to ODE. We could not recommend them enough & our only "regret" is not choosing the full planning package with them!

Anisha and Our Day Events was everything we could have asked for and more. Our wedding day was more perfect than we could have imagined. A large part of that credit goes to the Our Day Events team (4) who was led by Juhi. 1. Organization: The team is so organized and made sure that every detail we wanted included and flow of the day aligned with our vision. There were weekly meetings leading up to the day and each item was carefully tracked. The day off we were ahead of schedule and everything went step by step VERY smoothly. Our families were not stressed at all. 2. Demeanor: Our guests and family gave some much great feedback on how polite and respectful the Our Day Events team was as they guided us and the guests through the day. They are the topmost professionals. We honestly felt like they were a part of our family by the end of journey and felt so bittersweet about it. Absolutely fantastic Going with Our Day Events is singlehandedly THE best decision we made when it came to planning our wedding. My wife and I are absolutely not planners so planning our wedding was a pretty scary thought because we just didn't know what we didn't know. There are so many aspects to planning a wedding that I simply had never thought about until I started working with Our Day Events. Not only that, they made it so simple to get through planning out those tasks that need to be completed so that we never felt overwhelmed throughout this process. My wife and I were repeatedly asked as we came close to our wedding day, "How are you doing? Are you completely swamped with all the wedding things you have to do?". Our answer was actually, "No I think we're doing great actually, I don't think there is much if anything left to do.." This is not to pat ourselves on the back as much as it is to demonstrate how well planned out our wedding was because of ODE. Our wedding day went off without a single thing going wrong. Every single thing was perfect and on time. We had separate coordinators for my wife and I. Anisha with my wife and Joel with me and they took all the pressure away from us on our wedding day. They refused to let people bother us with anything. They do every single thing they can to make sure we have the most perfect day. We don't have the words to thank Anisha, Joel, Tessy and Jenn for all the work they did to make our wedding day what it was. It was truly something we will never forget. We still catch ourselves reminiscing and talking about how perfect everything went and it truly can be attributed to all the hard work from the ODE team. I want to take a moment to thank Our Day Events for how seamlessly they navigated our incredible wedding weekend and all of the weeks leading up to it. From the start our wedding was going to be big, beautiful, and.... complicated. The event was never too much for our lead coordinators Karthika and Juhi, who performed a masterclass the day of. They were always calm, organized, and *persistent* and making sure we stayed on time with our tasks and vendors and lists that we needed to complete, and we are so appreciative of that. The day of itself, every person on the team made sure every event was on time. We had multiple vendors show up late, get in car accidents, or even leave (!!!). It was never too much for the ODE team, who handled all of these things without us even knowing! Incredible, incredible job. So thankful to them for making such a special day not only for us, but also for our friends and family!

Planning a wedding is STRESSFUL. It requires a lot of time and frankly, what sometimes feels like secret, inside expertise about the wedding planning industry. There are simply not enough words to describe how incredibly helpful it is to have a knowledgable and caring team to help bridge that gap. ODE was able to take in information regarding our priorities for our wedding, find reliable and trustworthy vendors to help us achieve our goals, and corral all of those vendors during a hectic weekend to make our vision come true. In working with them for almost a year, it got to a point where we could simply say "we trust you" and just go with what ODE recommended. It was such an incredible gift to feel like we could depend on our team for anything and everything, and to know that they would handle these issues with incredible proficiency and grace.

This is the worst person you could hire for your wedding. She is self centered and unprofessional individual that does not prioritize your wedding. She will force her opinions on you and ruin your day. I have known Anisha since we were kids and thought hiring someone that grew up with me wouldn’t be a terrible idea but it was the worst decision I made in my life. She is worst human being I’ve ever known, she ruined it for my wife and every guest at my wedding. She even showed up sick on our wedding day and rehearsal, got us all sick without even considering our wedding day. So talk about our day events? This is the worst company you could hire. More importantly, her entire team was more focused on me than on the event. Do not waste your money with her or even consider her. I’ve worked in many industries but never seen this level of incompetence. The only thing she is good at is google docs.

This review is long overdue!! I can’t say enough great things about working with Our Day Events. They were so helpful from the start, keeping us organized and on track, but most importantly keeping us calm. No matter how big or small, your wedding day is emotional and can be stressful. Our team from ODE did absolutely everything to make sure that things ran smoothly and that we didn’t have a care in the world, so we could fully enjoy our day. They coordinated with our vendors, did regular planning meetings with us, and even kept our families in the loop so there was no confusion on the big day. We can’t thank you enough, and certainly would not have gotten through the day without you!

Simply put, our wedding was perfect. We felt so calm that day because of the trust we had in Jennifer, Anisha, Juhi, and Joel. Our day went so smoothly. From the initial meeting to the very end, ODE team communication has been on point no matter what time of day. We love that they communicated with our parents, and ensured them that everything was going to be great. The ODE team always had an answer to our questions, and a solution to any potential obstacles. I have to start off by saying Our Day Events was THE BIGGEST blessing to our wedding. I am Indian and my husband, Sergio, is Mexican so trying to coordinate a bigger Indian style wedding with his culture mixed in was challenging. We were also overwhelmed with the amount of choices we needed to make and vendors that needed to be coordinated. I had been a part of a couple of bridal parties for my close friends, and Anisha coordinated one of those weddings. Her impeccable planning and professionalism really stood out to me, so when it was time to pick a planner, I knew exactly who to pick. Anisha and Karthika were our main coordinators and they made the process so easy. From the moment we booked them, they kept us on track with meetings and due dates, which made the process so much more manageable. Once they took over the process, there were so many things they just took care of, even without us asking. Also with both of us being the oldest in our families, we had never been a part of planning a wedding before. The team at Our Day Events have so much experience and knowledge, which helped us tremendously, and they helped with so many things my husband and I had not even thought about. They go above and beyond what any other planners would do, and will do whatever it takes to make the day go smoothly. One of their assistants even fed me as I was getting my saree draped! It felt as if we were being taken care of by family. It also allowed our parents to not be stressed and actually enjoy our wedding like our guests. The whole team is so sweet and so easy to talk to, and communicating with them was a breeze. We had low expectations for our wedding, but with the help of Anisha, Karthika, and the team, we truly had the wedding of our dreams. We cannot thank them enough for the best day of our lives. Our Day Events was our best and most valuable wedding vendor!! We did their full wedding planning package, and from the first call through the very last minute of our wedding day, they were the best at anticipating every need we had, even ones we hadn't thought of! Our lead planner was Anisha and she was so pleasant to work with and was great at thinking of every little detail, some things that we would have totally forgotten had we not had her. She genuinely loves wedding planning and helping her couples put together their dream wedding day and she has an incredible attention to detail! No question was ever "silly" and she was always so reassuring with us and was very quick to respond to any questions or comments we had. From the start she listened to what it was we wanted out of our day and worked with us to pick vendors that fit our criteria. And once our vendors were booked, she handled all communicated with them for EVERYTHING, including the days leading up to be sure they all knew where they needed to be and when! Anisha and her team also worked on an incredibly detailed timeline that helped everyone be on the same page and communicated all the information that our vendors, parents, siblings, bridal party, clergy, etc. needed to know for the day. The week leading up to our wedding, we were genuinely so stress-free and could fully enjoy and be present in all the excitement leading up to the big day. On our wedding day, there was at least one member of the ODE with us at all times to take care of us and everything going on that day and we just had to worry about smiling big for pictures and soaking in the day :) We received so many compliments from our guest on how smoothly everything went, and all of it on time if not early! Our Day Events handles the stress of all the big things so that we were able to enjoy the little moments and be truly present with our family and friends and most importantly with each other!

Our Day Events was the absolute best. In terms of the planning process they were in top of all our needs and coordinated all the vendors perfectly. Every meeting was fruitful and they anticipated a lot of problems that could arise and helped us prevent them from happening. They also helped us create our parents and our vision for our wedding. When we were looking for wedding planners, we wanted someone who would be able to blend our Hindu and Christian traditions. Anisha and her team did just that! While we planned and talked to all of our major vendors, it wasn't until Anisha and Juhi got involved that our vision came to life. A few months before our special day, we would meet regularly to discuss what we were working on, what we needed help with, and ideas to make our wedding unique to us. ODE kept us focused and on track, and it was great having an expert tell you what you needed to spend your time on. We would have been lost without them, and their guidance made the months leading up to the wedding painless. They handled all of the calls with our vendors, which was such a relief to not have to manage. We could easily handle questions over text and Whatsapp, and then met weekly to track our progress. Anisha was always available to answer our questions and offer guidance, and she went above and beyond to make sure that every detail was taken care of. On the day of, we didn't have to worry about a thing - Anisha and Juhi were there to wake us up, make sure our vendors had what they needed, ensured our family members were on schedule and where they needed to be, and that we were truly present and able to enjoy the day. So many of our guests commented that we seemed to happy and relaxed, which wouldn't have happened without the team! We are so grateful for her hard work and dedication, and we would highly recommend her to any couple looking for a wedding planner or coordinator. The best investment you'll make!

Deciding to work with ODE was one of the best decisions we could’ve made for our wedding. We interviewed many wedding planners in the NJ area and while other planners also came with strong recommendations, what really sealed the deal for us with ODE was how thoughtful they were. On our first call with Anisha, the first thing she asked us was how we met. It was such a simple question, and such a natural question to ask a newly engaged couple, but no other wedding planner asked us. That’s when we knew that ODE really cared about us as a couple and wanted to make OUR dreams come true. We both have a HUGE family and being the first wedding in both of our families, there were a lot of important people with a lot of input, but that didn’t scare ODE! In fact they worked very diligently and strategically to put our large family and large brain trust to good use. They constructed group chats and frequent video calls with the full family and friends that were involved with the wedding to make sure that everyone’s qualms, concerns, and ideas had a voice. They worked tirelessly with us to iron out every single logistic that goes into planning a backyard wedding, and trust us there are thousands! The entire ODE team worked tirelessly and diligently the couple of days leading up to the event, making sure that the vendors were setting up all the equipment as per our plan. While our families had a few pre-wedding events going on at the house, we didn’t have to worry about the coming and going of vendors who were setting up because Anisha and her whole team were coordinating with everyone behind the scenes. If anyone had a question for the family, they would go through ODE and only if ODE felt that the family’s input was needed, then only we were called in. Because we were working with our planners from conception, ODE knew exactly what we wanted as a couple and even knew the aspects of the wedding that were important to our parents. This made it so easy for us to go with the flow and get into the mindset of a wedding, instead of having to deal with all the technical details, because ODE was handling everything! The ODE team’s priority the entire weekend was to make sure that Sushant and I had the wedding of our dreams. Because they worked so closely with us from day 1, they knew exactly what was important to us and what wasn’t. ODE had organized their team so that they would have one coordinator with the bride, one with the groom, one with each of our families, and one managing the vendors. This system was so well oiled that not a single member of the family had to discuss anything with the vendors. The team took care of everything. We felt so blessed to be able to have actually been present and enjoy our wedding. Another huge burden during the time of the events that ODE lifted for us, was dealing with supplies and inventory. Anisha and her team told us after that there was a shortage of a few items but the family and guests had no idea because the staff slipped off and took care of everything to keep the events running smoothly. Our Day Events was the GOAT! Anisha and Karthika were extremely helpful from the start. Planning our wedding from two different states as a long distance couple, we knew hiring ODE would be a good choice to help us communicate with vendors and have everything run smoothly, but it was more than good... it was great. We had scheduled meetings throughout the entire process and even outside of scheduled meeting times they were super accessible. We'd just message them that we needed something and one of them would reach out in most times less than an hour. Choosing our day events was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding! We initially didn't even know if we were going to even get a wedding planner but due to both of our busy work schedules we thought it was a good idea to invest in one and started talking to a few planners. However, we fell in love with the Our Day events team after speaking with them for the first time. The whole team was so personal and we especially loved how well they communicated and worked with our family members and bridal party. My husband and I had a great experience working with Karthika! From day one, she was supportive of our vision for our big day and made sure that every detail was accounted for in the months leading up to our wedding. The most helpful services Karthika provided were securing quotes for vendors, creating a master timeline for each event (and helping us stick to the timeline during the events), and being an advocate for our vision of our wedding. We received many compliments from our guests and bridal party about how well organized the wedding events were and that Karthika and her team were very professional and responsive to any requests. The only things I would do differently about wedding planning is hiring Karthika earlier in the process and choosing the infinity package over the timeless package. We are so grateful for Karthika’s support during the planning process and professionalism during the wedding. Choosing Our Day Events as our wedding planners was one of the BEST decisions we made! We primarily worked with Anisha, and she was the first “vendor” we booked. Right from the start, she guided us by providing lists of vendors that fit our criteria to pick from, communicating with the vendors for us, setting up meetings with them, and having contracts written up. The beginning stages of planning were so smooth and we knew it’d only get better. Throughout the year, we loved having a trusted someone to remind us of deadlines. In the last few months, creating detailed timelines for wedding day was very helpful. Aside from us, she made sure our parents, siblings, bridal party, vendors, and even the clergy were ALL in the same loop by having separate calls and chats! This was a huuge weight lifted off of our to do list. Weekly meetings in the last 1-2 months were truly soo helpful to keep us sane & to make sure every nitty gritty detail was addressed. Wedding week came along and we were much more stress free than we thought we’d be. We were truly able to enjoy our wedding day as the bride and groom and that was all with the help of Anisha, Helen, Sarah, & Tessy! Other than the incredible, adaptable, and timely coordination day of, we were so thankful that Anisha and her whole team even took care of transporting all items from us needed for the church, venue, and even assigning where to place items to take back to our homes. They were our number 1 till the second we jumped in our cars to go home. We are still receiving compliments to this day about how smoothly and amazingly the wedding was planned and executed, and though she may say otherwise, a lot of that is attributed to Anisha and the ODE team. Booking Our Day Events was an excellent decision. We started to plan our large wedding and quickly realized we were a little in over our heads. We had a great initial meeting with the team and felt more reassured with continuing wedding planning after booking ODE. As our events got closer and we became more and more stressed, ODE was always there to keep us on track. Working with Anisha and the rest of the team was very easy and their organizational skills were excellent. They have a good system of what works to outline every event and also make sure they cover every single little detail of your event. We had 4 events over 3 days, so there was a lot to plan/manage. ODE had met with us, our family members, bridal parties and took contact info of important family members. Our wedding outline packet was 30+ pages long but on the wedding day, ODE made it work seamlessly. Long story short: ODE was an excellent choice for wedding planning and day of coordination. A lot of the enjoyment from our wedding events came from the fact of how organized everything was, thanks to ODE.

We worked with Anisha, Karthika and the wonderful Our Day Events team for our Day of Coordination. We cannot say enough about the warmth and dedication we received from this team. Starting from about 6 months before our wedding we were having monthly calls with Anisha. Our Day Events doesn’t just jump in a month before the event, they start working on the big and little details well in advance. This is just one example of how Our Day Events sets themselves apart from the rest. Anisha helped us lay the groundwork for a successful event by getting to know us and understanding what we wanted our wedding to look and feel like. She is well organized and keeps all the receipts!! This is especially helpful when juggling multiple vendors and lines of communication. Even when vendors and family were throwing wrenches in our plans, Anisha was calm, friendly and direct. We enjoyed knowing we were well represented and that our point person had things covered from all angles. They even took amazing photos and videos of the event and shared them with us right after! We highly recommend the entire Our Day Events team, so much so we’ve already booked them for another family wedding. Did I mention how kind and funny they are?? Book them now!!

Where do I even start? If you want to hire Anisha and her team for something like a small hotel wedding where the hotel has everything handled and need very minimal supervision for your wedding, then maybe you are good. For am upscale wedding or one with many details, I would not refer her to my worst enemy. Everything started out great - Anisha & team had great reviews here on weddingwire and very strong references. However, as things got closer and closer to the event, oversight from her team started unraveling. She was missing vendor calls altogether or showing up ten minutes late to calls after I had already signed off. She was disorganized at the meetings and did not even know the most basic answers to vendor questions. Our hope was hopefully at least she would be solid the day of the event. My family and I started to go ahead and takeover day to day planning, which she was not handling. Low and behold, things became much worse. All of our vendors were fantastic except for the staffing company Anisha recommended - All Star Staffing - who seemed like they’ve never done a plated dinner before (and who charged us exorbitant amounts). They were supposed to come for a dry run for plating and my mom called them several times to, but they never showed up staying they knew what to do. They did not. Dinner service took hours with some guests leaving before being served. It was utter chaos. Things got so bad with Anisha’s team supervision that vendors started ignoring her team and just speaking to each other to keep things going smoothly. Both days of our events we noticed many things we went over with her team prior to the event were not done. It was as if she never even listened at any of our meetings altogether. In the end after the disastrous dinner service, Anisha blamed each one of the vendors (mostly Allstar who she recommended) and said there was nothing she could now. Her team kept giving us fake apologies by saying “I’m sorry it wasn’t up to your standards, BUT…” Then when we noted everywhere the team fell short they deflected and took zero responsibility. I myself have done event planning for hundreds of people since been in college and be never ever seen such unprofessional behavior before. Oh and one other word of advice, have a lawyer review your wedding contract and assume nothing is covered. Anisha’s team ran a few errands to buy extra alcohol and water the day of the event (bought way more alcohol than needed and now we have to return it) and charged us 40% extra on her initial estimate for the event. Mind you, these errands were done during contracted hours. I spoke to other wedding planners and they said they normally do not charge at all for things like that.

Our day events was probably the best decision that we made in our wedding planning! From knowing nothing about wedding planning, Anisha helped us prioritize what was important to us, become organized in excel sheets and helped us find vendors within our budgets. She kept us on track and even helped us finish planning the wedding, minus the last minute details, months before the wedding. Anisha, Jenn, and Matt were nothing short of amazing from the weeks before the wedding to rehearsal day to the wedding day. They even met with our parents to make sure they knew our day was in good hands. All three of them helped us get last minute items and made sure we were calm, fed, and enjoying ourselves throughout the wedding.
