Absolutely amazing! It was such a blessing to be able to decorate the whole venue the day before. We held the ceremony and reception here and it was so nice for the guests to not r...
elocate for the reception. We loved the venue had a fabulous day of coordinator and was able to answer all my questions and provide recommendations! Overall fabulous and took care great of their couples. Also, the bridal suite is beautiful!!
Very beautiful sanctuary! The stain glass windows were gorgeous. The staff was very helpful to us to create the dream wedding we wanted. The size easily accommodated our 300 guest...
s. They even helped by providing some decorations. The church was a wonderful venue for our big day.
I would not recommend this church. The church was very nice in setup but the wedding coordinator Trish was impossible to get in contact with. She is not in the office except when s...
he has appointments but trying to make appointments with her is difficult. I called and emailed her many times, called the direct office and then finally went to the church myself just to see it. It took 3 weeks to get an answer about our date. Stay away.
Church itself was a great location, off the highway easy for our guests to find. They only book one wedding per weekend, so with ours on a Saturday we had the entire day before to ...
set up decorations and use for our rehearsal time and dinner with a small fee. They also have plenty of space to be creative with, we had originally planned to have our entire wedding outside, but it decided to rain so we had to last minute plan to do the reception indoors, we had to use a fellowship room but we could pretty much decorate any way we wanted. The groomsmen had a huge room for plenty of bodies (we had 10 or so getting ready in there). The bridal room was perfect, a toilet and nice bathroom, 2 doors to the room to avoid the groom on the wedding day, bar chairs and counters with so many mirrors so all my bridesmaids and my mom and I all could do our hair and makeup together, there was even a cool wall for the dresses to hang from and make for cool photos. They also had an ample amount of donated decor (candles, mason jars, wooded pallets, etc.) all free for us to use. Overall I would rate the venue space 5 stars, I lowered my rating due to the organization and communication issues we had. The venue includes a "Wedding Coordinator" but we were not informed that they had multiple coordinators for different weekends, so I never met ours until the day before and had been planning with a different person weeks before. This was frustrating for myself, my husband, our families, and our bridal parties. Our day of coordinator had no idea where we were doing the ceremony (though she had a packet of paperwork I had filled out with another coordinator in her hand). She originally lined us all up in a different area than where I had planned for our ceremony during the rehearsal and I was pretty irritated and had to explain our plan for everything (which as a bride, was the last thing I wanted to be doing the day before). She was not prepared and did not do her homework prior to showing up. The day of the wedding my mom couldn't find her until about 30 mins before the ceremony, her main purpose was to tell people when to walk, which someone else could have done for us, and she was first in line for our dessert buffet. The worst part was that she interrupted our wedding vows because it had started to sprinkle and they had to turn off the speakers and microphones, she said that everyone should move inside or we could continue to stay outside without microphones, she had already told us that during our rehearsal and we had already told her we would continue our vows even without microphones. It was just unprofessional and something many of the guests commented on later. Our "Music Tech" (also included) was dressed very casual (basketball shorts on the wedding day). Which is not a big deal because they only do music for the ceremony, not the reception, so really about 20 mins total. I really did love the venue, very affordable for what you get, pretty area and pretty interior, I would suggest either hiring an outside wedding coordinator if you need one, or just having a family friend position and tell people when to walk during the ceremony. I loved my wedding day very much and was so happy once the ceremony was over, I didn't care that things were rough during the ceremony, just that we were married!
Well worth the money
We had a hard time finding a church that was accommodating, friendly, and reasonably priced at first. Finding this church was a blessing. It went above and beyond anything we visio...

The entire staff are welcoming and great! Everyone treated us like we were apart of their family. As both graduate students who were also working full time, the staff understood and worked with our schedules for meeting times.
We were sold at the beauty as soon as we walked in. We could have decorated the church more but we didn't want to mask the natural beauty and the flexible lighting served us well. The price was so affordable and the church's sensitivity to our needs was amazing. We combined two different cultures, African-American and Nigerian.
We had family travel from different parts of the world. They were very impressed with the beauty of the church. As a couple we enjoyed the church so much that now we attend services.
During the planning process of our wedding we read reviews other couples left of places around OKC. To any couple I strongly suggest this location as your church venue. There are so many options for unique pictures and a great fellowship hall for the rehearsal dinner or whatever you like.
So grateful!
Beautiful location for us to get married in. The grandeur of the sanctuary provided a dramatic background for the ceremony. The courtyard offered different photo opportunities fo...
r our party and the front doors have a cool Spanish feeling.
We had lots of space to get dressed in, plus great community rooms for the bridal party to hang out in. The church let us bring in food which was a huge perk. The very reasonable rental fee also was a perk!
The wedding coordinator worked really well with us. We knew all of the expectations on their part and they did everything possible to help us out.
I would whole-heartedly recommend Our Lord's to any bridal party!!
My wife and I were looking for a church in NW OKC that was affordable and flexible. We found it at Our Lord's Community Church. We used the sanctuary for our ceremony for 250. The ...
woodwork and Spanish influence in the buildings are really nice. We took our group photos in their courtyard. The church staff are so kind and helpful. They went out of their way to make our day great. We stored our flowers in the fridge and ice carving in their freezer. Couldn't have asked for a better wedding location!
