on for our ceremony. A few weeks later, we met in person, and it was like seeing an old friend – even though we were meeting face to face for the first time. He took time to really get to know us and understand our story.
After we exchanged a few emails and then had a conversation over Skype (we live in different states), he sent us a draft of our ceremony. Both Rick and I were in tears just reading what he had written. That being said – he even held back more as a final surprise for us on the day of our ceremony.
That day was magical and Michael was a huge part of it. We had so many friends and family tell us that it was if he had known us during our entire 10 year relationship. We would HIGHLY recommend Michael Thieling to anyone who is looking for an officiant that truly feels like he is a close friend or family member!

unch of other officiant's websites as well. We left our numbers for a number of them and Michael was the first one to call us. He was extremely helpful and put us at ease and answered all our questions. We met with him before the wedding and he was there early, professional and very friendly. Before the wedding, he sent us a word document that detailed how everything was going to take place and what was going to be said including the vows. It was really detailed which we liked. Also, he contacted us several times before the wedding to make sure he answered any questions we had. We had a really small wedding under 40 people. Michael did a terrific job on the ceremony. He also did some announcements for us since we didn't have a MC. We would totally recommend Michael for your wedding. He's professional and a really nice guy.

people with which we were working would hear our thoughts and preferences, but in responding back they would imply changes or differences from our wishes. Sometimes this was a simple miscommunication that was quickly clarified, but more often than not it seemed to be a battle of wills/creative vision for that part of the wedding. So in providing our ceremony outline/script to Pauly, I was expecting similar interactions. As a pleasant surprise, she simply responded "This looks great - thanks" and then on the day of the wedding we were blown away by how Pauly not only followed our vision, but made it much better than we could have ever imagined. To back up, Pauly and her friend Mike walked us through creating a basic outline for the ceremony, which was a no-stress/all fun process, and provided a variety of both stock and custom options. This made crafting the perfect ceremony for us very simple. So the fact that we collaborated to create the ceremony and our custom vision based on Pauly/Mike's recommendations turned out so wonderfully seems almost magical. Pauly is professional, courteous, fun, and provides a vibrant yet elegant image to lead your wedding ceremony.
