Our Shared Path Counseling and Consulting

You’re planning a day you’ll remember. Make space for the life you’ll share. Our service is marriage preparation and premarital counseling for couples planning a range of ceremonies. We do not perform weddings or provide officiating services. Marriage Foundations by Our Shared Path is a premarital program for engaged couples and partners thinking seriously about marriage. In four joint sessions, you’ll explore what matters to each of you, practice relationship skills, and work toward a personalized plan for everyday married life. How will you bring up something difficult? Make a money decision together? Set boundaries with family? Find your way back after an argument? With guidance from a licensed counselor, you’ll begin putting those conversations into practice. Your $600 package covers both partners, four sessions of up to 90 minutes each, relationship questionnaires, and guided skills practice. Together, you’ll identify strengths, understand differences, and clarify practical next steps around communication, conflict, finances, responsibilities, intimacy, and your future. The structure gives you a clear place to begin, with room for your story. You do not need to be struggling to invest in your relationship. Couples across cultures and faith backgrounds are welcome, including interfaith couples and couples with no religious affiliation. Faith can be included when you want it to be. Marriage Foundations is part of the Our Shared Path Relationship Clinic. Meet in person in King of Prussia, serving the Philadelphia area, or virtually when both partners are located in Pennsylvania.
