Out of the Garden

Out Of The Garden did a wonderful job with my wedding bouquet! I had been searching for a florist in the Charleston area and was lucky to have stopped by their shop. Naomi, who we worked with specifically, was kind and patient as I explained what I was looking for. We were having a small wedding and I wanted a smaller bouquet and a boutonnière. We ended up adding on another boutonnière for my Dad and we ordered some loose florals as well. Every contact point with Naomi was great! I felt very comfortable working with her and completely trusted her artistry. She always responded to my emails quickly, and worked with our wedding planner as well to make the most perfect day with their florals. I gave Naomi some inspiration photos and found a particular flower that I was hoping to incorporate. Luckily, that flower was able to be used and Naomi created the most lovely floral bouquet with it, and two sweet boutonnières! My bouquet was the right size and weight and I felt completely comfortable holding onto it all day. Naomi was amazing, I loved the whole experience & working with her. It was really important to me that I was able to have a conversation about my thoughts, and that I felt a connection with who I was working with. I felt that right away with her. I would highly recommend Naomi and the Out of the Garden team. If I ever come back down to Charleston for an anniversary portrait session, I will be reaching out to her again to create another bouquet for me to hold and cherish. Thank you Naomi!

Out of the garden did my bouquet and some flowers for my cake and they did a great job! My vision for my bouquet was really brought to life and it was perfect. It stayed gorgeous and fresh all night and even was still good looking when we got back from our honeymoon a week later! I’m drying out some flowers and stems for a shadow box because I loved it so much. Thank you for providing exactly what I asked for and for creating a beautiful bouquet!

Laura and Holly were my floral partners through my wedding process and they were both extremely kind, thoughtful towards my design wants and needs and never once made me feel that they were too busy to work with me on my wedding. This is something I find in Charleston that can be less than common, and for the company name that OOG has I was impressed and grateful to how humble, yet professional this team was.

I will never use another florist! I used out of the garden for my wedding. Laura and her team were absolutely wonderful to me. They were so flexible with all of my decor changes and special requests. They did a breath taking job. Just speechless with the way they turned my dream into a reality. Would give them 100 stars!

Out of the Garden was great at updating our proposal to reflect our budget and the changes in style for our wedding. For our actual wedding day our bouquets and table arrangements were gorgeous and very much aligned to what the photos in proposal had shown. However we were very disappointed in our mantel pieces, ceremony pieces as well as our main table, which was supposed to have "airy ivy". They flowers and greens looked completely dead and withered and were not the same type of ivy that was described and illustrated in our proposal. The mantel and table pieces instead of light, airy ivy were full on dead tree branches, which had a very rustic look not in line with our wedding. I am praying the photos still turn out OK and don't reflect the poor quality of the greens supplied.

I had the wonderful pleasure of working with Kaitlyn G. on the floral design of my August 2018 wedding on Folly Beach. She was incredible! She created a proposal that was exactly as I requested, answered all questions in a timely manner, made suggestions, and made revisions that were frequently requested. The end result was a most beautiful backdrop for a most beautiful day. Thank you!

Our wedding was at Cannon Green, which is a naturally beautiful venue, but the additional greenery and decor from Out of the Garden added a “wow.” Kaitlyn made planning simple and was easy to meet and get in touch for questions. The bridal/bridesmaids flowers and boutonnières were beautiful and delivered on time to our getting ready house. Then, the venue was decorated beautifully upon my arrival. I would highly recommend for florals and rentals.

We used Ooh! Events for the floral design and rentals for our wedding. I was extremely impressed with their rental selection - not only for basics such as tables and chairs, but also for their gorgeous lounge furniture. Their pieces certainly enhanced our venue and set the tone for the evening. Even more so, the floral design was absolutely stunning. My floral budget was very tight, so they were able to make the most of it and add beautiful touches in nearly every area of our ceremony and reception areas. In addition, the day of our wedding we experienced pouring rain. The Ooh! team was able to repurpose our outdoor floral arrangements perfectly, still giving our wedding the southern garden look I was hoping for. All in all, Ooh! did a fantastic job across all rentals and florals!

Flowers were never on the top of the list of importance for me and my fiance around the wedding, but I will say that I am so happy we made the investment! Kaitlyn did a wonderful job taking inspiration photos and bringing them to life - even being able to put the most beautiful peonies in my bouquet at the end of October! Even with a beautiful reception place, the flowers really did amp up the space.

I would not recommend this florist to anyone. I would rate them a zero, but the website will not give me the option. They showed up to my wedding several hours early with flowers that were half dead. They were rude, incredibly uninterested in our concerns regarding the dying flowers and argumentative with the wedding coordinator and family. They were not going to hang the flowers on the archway as they had another wedding to rush off to. They added to the stress of the day immensely and, after the fact, were insensitive and not willing to make reparations for their huge mistakes and lack of professionalism. They attempted to offer me a credit which I refused as I would never, ever use their services again.

My daughter wanted a "pretty wedding" with the simplicity and beauty that Charleston can offer. Out of Garden and the designer, Caitlyn, managed to create the most unique floral arrangements with color to catch your breath. Guests have been effusive with their praises. I only wish the flowers could have lasted forever.

Huge THANK YOU to Lisa + Kaitlyn for creating such stunning florals for our wedding! I sent the ladies a handful of inspiration photos and they delivered above & beyond. I had a gorgeous cascading bouquet of greenery and various white flowers with bridesmaids bouquets that truly "WOW'd"! They also created gorgeous green halos for my maids and a floral halo for myself + MOH - again, so beautiful!! My halo had a succulent in the middle which was such a pleasant surprise. I had 3 long family style tables for our wedding at Boone Hall and wanted big fluffy greenery down the center and they found a way to do it within my budget. Trust these ladies and they will execute your vision flawlessly. THANK YOU!!

I'm so glad I chose Out of The Garden for my wedding. I sent a few pictures of the flowers I wanted but left room for creative expression. My flowers were better than the photos and the wrist corsages were breathtaking!!! Book them now!

Out of the garden did a fantastic job with my wedding flowers. I sent pinterest photos for bouquet inspiration and they came up with exactly what I wanted! They also provided beautiful bracelets for the mother's corsage's which I thought was a nice touch!

Out of the Garden worked with me to create the arrangements I envisioned with their own creative touches. One of the reasons I picked them initially when I had narrowed my list to a few florists with past work I liked was that they respected my budget - meaning when I told them what my budget was, they gave me a quote UNDER it rather than just slightly over it, and allowed me to add on to it as I pleased. To me, this was a sign that they would respect my wishes and not push me to spend more than I wanted. Last minute, my arch rental fell through and they were able to provide one for me through their Out of Hand Events which saved me a huge amount of stress during my wedding weekend. They also added last minute flowers when my mom pointed out that the centerpieces I had from my venue weren't what she knew I was expecting. The small additional fee was well worth it since they created my dream day without me having to even lift a finger really. They seemed to really care about my vision and making our wedding everything we dreamed of rather than simply fulfilling their side of the deal. I strongly recommend working with Out of the Garden or Out of Hand Events for your big day!
