kend perfect. Everyone should get to have their special day here! From the very beginning, Sabrina and the entire Outdoorsy team were welcoming, helpful, and accommodating. They made scheduling calls and visits easy. After seeing the venue in person, we knew it was exactly what we wanted: intimate, fun, relaxing, and immersed in nature. When they offered to host our wedding, there was an immediate yes! Having the entire weekend in one beautiful location was a dream. It felt like an adult summer camp, without any of the inconveniences of camping. Kids would have a blast, and we still enjoyed our own peace. The accommodations were fantastic with comfy beds, private cabins, bathrooms with showers, cowboy pools for warm afternoons, and firepits around for late-night chats. They generously allowed us to check in early on Thursday for setup, which eased vendor arrivals and preparations. When guests arrived on Friday, check-in was smooth and everyone was excited about the thoughtful touches that made the venue feel exclusively ours. The schedule was displayed on a chalkboard, and guests kept commenting on how kind and helpful the Outdoorsy staff was throughout the weekend. As evening fell, we gathered for a casual welcome party with a food truck serving dinner. From the hill country views, we watched thunderstorms roll across the sky with guests cozied up in their cabins. On Saturday morning, we had breakfast—kolaches, pancakes, coffee, and juice—while guests gradually woke up. The whole welcome area was lively and relaxed, and the natural beauty of the surroundings looked even more stunning after the rain. The ceremony was held beneath a majestic oak tree, with guests seated on the manicured grass. The lighting was perfect for beautiful photos. Cocktail hour took place at the welcome bar, with grazing plates from the caterers, and our guests even got to feed the longhorns. Later, everyone was led down to the lake for a family-style dinner, watching the sunset colors splash across the sky. As the evening progressed, speeches were heartfelt, and the lights came on as the sun set. We wrapped up the night at the event barn, which had an incredible dance floor, bar, seating area, and space for cake and caketinis inside. The large doors opened to reveal stunning stars and a meteor shower. It was a truly magical experience. Even after the official event ended, guests enjoyed the cabins and continued stargazing into the early hours. Check-out was straightforward, but leaving was bittersweet after an unforgettable weekend. We’re already planning to return for future getaways to relive these memories often.
