Definitely recommend this vendor!! Michelle and Doug did a fabulous job with our wedding and engagement shoot. Well worth every penny!!!! They both have huge experience and were very helpful in the planning of the shoots and planning of the wedding photo list. They are always very responsive. The best part is they care about each of their clients. They will do anything they can to make sure you have a great experience. I have never had a photographer take pictures that take my breath away and almost every picture they took did that. I will definitely use them again for future family portraits.
My husband and I had decided to use Outer Banks Productions as our photographers for our October 2015 wedding after seeing their amazing website galleries and seeing their very reasonable rates. After meeting the Habers, we just knew that they would do an amazing job capturing our very special day.
After some long deliberating and decision making, we decided that a surprise elopement a year early was just what we wanted instead of the painstakingly long process of planning a big wedding! Especially with us now moving away from the Outer Banks in the spring. I told my husband that as long as we could still have professional pictures taken, that it was all alright with me. After all, I am a big believer in having beautiful pictures for long-lasting memories. And of course, this is the biggest moment of our lives!
When we made the decision to elope, it was with little over a week before the 3 year anniversary of our first date, which of course was at the waterfront in Manteo. It could not have been more perfect for an elopement! I was very skeptical that the Habers would have the free time to do this for us, so we thought that a weeknight wedding may make things run more smoothly for planning. We were pleasantly surprised to hear that they were free and very happy to help us out! Michelle seemed just as excited as us in this big secret we were sharing with them!
I’ve always wanted to get married at sunset, it being my favorite time of the day. So Michelle helped us begin to plan the where and when for the small ceremony to try to make the most of the light. My husband met with the Habers that afternoon and they all decided that the Lighthouse would make for the best setup, and then we would stroll around downtown Manteo snapping pictures as we went, and hoping against hope to catch one of our local famous sunset skies.
Believe me when I tell you, seeing how our pictures turned out brought tears to my eyes. I was expecting something great, given I’d been researching their work online for the past few months, I knew they would turn out well. But what we got was something beyond words. They were better than I could have ever imagined. There were shots I hadn’t thought of, and they turned out to be some of my favorites! My wonderful husband picked out my bouquet, and they actually matched our sunset perfectly! I have received so many compliments from friends and family.
I recommend Michelle and Doug from Outer Banks Productions, due to their imagination, free & easy personalities, humor and above all else their professionalism. Something you don’t always get from local businesses in this area.
Thank you Michelle and Doug for sharing with us, and helping to capture our very special day! We look forward to a ‘Trash the Dress’ session this winter/spring!
I recently used Outer Banks Productions for wedding photography and a video of our ceremony. Michelle and her husband Doug were so friendly and easy to work with. Their communication was prompt and clear, and both made me feel very relaxed and secure. As a photographer, Michelle was professional and fun, and had great advice and tips for poses and angles to get us the best pictures! Thanks for everything!
I chose Outer Banks Productions immediately after seeing the quality of their work online and speaking to Doug on the phone. They were extremely friendly and helpful. They gave me plenty of ideas for wedding and reception locations since I had a destination wedding. They were on time and took wonderful photos. Not overbearing or pushy and the price was great.
Michelle from Outer Banks Productions was the photographer for my wedding. She was kind, curteous, and worked hard to ensure that we got all of the photos taken that we wanted. My family liked her so much that we hired her to take family photos on the beach later in the week. I have not recieved my photos yet it has inly been 2 weeks since the wedding but I am sure they will turn out wonderfully.
I loved loved loved Michelle Haber. The communication with Michelle and Doug before and after the wedding was great. They were quick to respond, and worked with my budget. We had a rainy day for our beach wedding (luckily we didn't get rained on, but we could see it raining down the beach, on both sides of us, like it was closing in on us). Michelle was great to make sure we got all the important shots done first, and she took charge to make sure it was done. Luckily, we had time to get all the important shots, and more! She gave us a sneak peek to our pictures the next day, and they turned out absolutely gorgeous! She also came back the next day for our trash the dress shoot, and we had so much fun with that! I would definately recommend this husband and wife team to anyone. Not only is she a great photographer, but she is the sweetest person. Thank you so much Doug and Michelle! I can't wait to get our disc with all our edited images.
Michelle and Doug had high energy and were hard working!
I can't describe how awesome Outer Banks production! They were willing to answer any questions that we needed even if it didn't pertain to photography. There prices are amazing, compared to other photographers in the area & for how amazing there work is! Doug was so sweet & so helpful! He even brought his intern along to video tape our first dance for free of charge! I've never met his wife Michelle but I can just tell they are both awesome people!
Michelle was wonderful. She was so helpful, so nice, so enthusiastic. She really put me at ease and was so willing to have us contact her with any questions about anything related to the wedding. She and Doug were a joy to work with.
Husband/wife team they were so professional and pleasant to work with. They were so accomodating to our needs likes and dislikes
