Ovando is one of my absolute favorite florists in the city and I was thrilled to work with them on our April 1st wedding at The India House in Manhattan. Karina and the whole Ovand...
o team, including the crew that delivered and set everything up was phenomenal. Karina worked with me on the exact look and feel we were going for and was up front and honest about costs and budget from the beginning. Nothing was a surprise and everything including the bouquets and boutineers were gorgeous. Can't say enough wonderful things about my experience with Ovando.
Great design and very helpful people. We had some staff turnover about a month before our wedding and they were able to pick up from where we left with no problems. What I loved ab...
out Ovando is I gave them my budget and they provided me with some great options - never once did they try and upsell me. Ultimately, we did suffer from some sloppy execution day-of given a missing element on the tables but Ovando responded appropriately and promptly - hence the 4 stars.
I hired Allie at Ovando to create centerpieces for my tables at my wedding. She has such a fantastic artistic eye, and made my budget blossom, literally! Her attention to detail wa...

Rebecca from Ovando was an absolute pleasure from beginning to end! Flowers and lighting were incredibly important to us and she never put a limit to the time we needed to come up ...
with the perfect decor. We wanted a modern, unique look, and my architect fiance had many strong opinions which she always accommodated. She has an incredible eye for detail, is responsive, and patient (with us, and our parents!). The actually wedding day ended up falling on the evening Hurricane Irene came to town, and after our church canceled the day before, Ovando had the added responsibility of setting up a ceremony in one of the rooms at The Four Seasons - our reception location. They came through for us despite the terrible weather and made what could have been a total disaster absolutely wonderful. The decor was beyond beautiful and our bouquets were breathtaking. They also handled our reception lighting, and the amber tones were just magical. We plan to use them as often as we can in the future!
Everyone I worked with was extremely pleasant and the flowers turned out beautiful there was a small hitch the day of because the flowers that came in from Holland were a little mo...
re yellow that white, but we took care of it. They did a great job with creating modern clean designs and I would definitely recommend them to anyone.
Overall, excellent work. Rebecca was awesome in the planning stages. Not perfect execution, but close enough and the result was beautiful and unique.
Rebecca from Ovando was truly wonderful and accommodating. We had no prior knowledge of flowers, but I explained the look and feel we wanted, and she created EXACTLY what I had en...
visioned at exactly the price we told he we had budged. The presentation and execution was professional and on-time, and they went above and beyond day-of to spruce up the room in little (but greatly appreciated) ways where it was needed. Thanks Ovando!
Very modern cool ideas.;Expensive and difficult when it comes to negotiating prices.
