I suggest thinking twice before booking Ovation Events. My husband and I booked them for our wedding, as they were a preferred vendor of our venue. We booked the Open Air Photo Boo...
th for 4 hours. After we sent the balance two and a half weeks before the wedding, Ronnie asked us to select a backdrop and a logo, which we did. One week before the wedding a woman called me asking, again, to select a backdrop and a logo. I confirmed our selections. The day of the wedding there was an issue with the backdrop stand. Ronnie stated that the backdrop did not fit the stand they brought to the venue and had a completely different backdrop Uber’d to the venue. However, all of this took time that cut into our reception. I understand that things happen and don’t always go exactly according to plan, however, this resulted in there being no backdrop for an hour and half of the four hours we paid for. As the attendant was trying to resolve this issue and it was not apparent that the photobooth was ready to operate, guests did not use the photobooth during that hour and a half. I emailed Ronnie explaining the situation and requested a partial reimbursement for the time that the stand/photobooth were not set up to operate. However, Ronnie did not respond to my email. I called him a few days later and he stated that this did not warrant a reimbursement. He was not apologetic, was dismissive of my concerns, not interested in resolving the matter, and continuously insisted on sending me screenshots of a text exchange between him and the photobooth attendant that night stating that he did not turn guests away from using the photobooth and that pictures could have been taken in front of a regular wall. I responded stating that my point all along has been that if there was no backdrop and the attendant was fiddling with the stand then guests were not likely to come up to take pictures, as it did not appear that the photobooth was set up/ready for guests to take pictures. We also PAID for a package that included a BACKDROP. Ultimately, two and a half hours of what should have been a four hour service were provided because the equipment we paid for was not set up. Ronnie then stopped responding to my texts regarding this matter. Additionally, the attendant was disorganized, allowing photos to collect on the floor for an extended period of time, not really engaging with guests, and he did not offer anyone the black and white option we paid for. He just automatically selected the same settings for everyone. We received a scrapbook at the end of the night, which contained just a few of the many pictures taken in the two and a half hours. I would NEVER book this vendor again. This company is extremely unprofessional and unjust with poor customer service.
Ovation Photo Booth is a great way to get your guests engaged with your wedding. My wife and I are both actors so we decided to do a step and repeat with a red carpet a la Hollywo...
od. You choose the backdrop and your guests get their picture taken in front of it. Ovation Photo Booth has different accessories to choose from to spice up the pictures and make them fun. Our guests had a blast walking the red carpet and getting their pictures taken. It’s very easy to choose the backdrop. You tell them what you want and they send you digital proofs of different options. When it comes time to take the picture, they will give your guests a hard copy of the photo but they also have them available digitally. We highly recommend Ovation Photo Booth to anyone who is looking to add some style to their wedding.

ting in having to postpone our Wedding due to COVID 2 times, and a 3rd time due to a Nor'easter! We used the mirror booth and two 2ft marquee letters for our Wedding! The mirror booth was a huge hit, we loved the photo strips from all of our guests that Ovation helped us put in to our photo booth guest book! The marquee letters were an awesome touch in the reception room at Westbury. We loved them! The props, gold frame and white flower back drop for the mirror booth were so awesome! Our guests had a blast taking photos at the mirror booth! Ovation was great to work with on our Wedding day!

We loved ovation! The service was amazing and the people in the office were so helpful! We definitely recommend using them!!

y knew exactly how I wanted it to look before the day of the wedding. I sent them a picture of the way I wanted it set up, and the executed it perfectly the day of.
My guests loved taking pictures in front of the hedgewall-- it really made for a classy and fun backdrop.
Nicole was amazing through the whole process. She is always prompt to answer questions and if you are struggling with choices, she will give you your honest opinion. The photobooth...
was lots of fun. Guest really enjoyed the customize animation intro of me, my husband and dog! I also got the customized signs for guest to choose. We did our hashtag and funny sayings. The photobooth attendants were so personable, sweet and friendly. One of them made sure my husband and I took a photo. We were so busy greeting and mingling with guests we almost didn't, and for that I will always be grateful. The photos are hanging on our fridge.

it. I enjoyed that at the end of the wedding they gave me a personalized album with copies of everyone's photobooth pictures in that a lot of people had signed. It was great to have those fun shots and have something to look at immediately since other pictures that make time to receive. I was happy with them!
Okay, just for a frame of reference, I have reviewed every one of my other vendors with 5 stars. Ovation was the only option for us since our venue would only allow them for the p...
hoto booth. The bride and groom choose the green screen which allows you to pick from a variety of backgrounds. I used the photo booth twice and was never offed a choice of backgrounds. I don’t believe my guests were either. The props were just a variety of hats, which I thought was a little light. We paid extra for a memory book which should include a copy of every picture taken. We don’t know how this will turn out since we haven’t received it yet but each person was suppose to be given the option to sign the picture. The people in the pictures with me were never told about this. I don’t know how many people she actually told. These are big things since we paid extra for them. And worst of all was the attitude of the person working the photo booth. She was impatient and snarky. This is a happy occasion. People are drinking and having a good time. As the hostess, it really annoyed me to see her curt with my guests. Stear clear of Ovation.
Our guests are still raving about the mirror me photobooth at our wedding! Working with Ovation was easy. They are very attentive and professional. We had two attendants at the pho...

digital copy of the pictures as well! All of our guests have been raving about how much they enjoyed the photobooth! I also loved that they had a fall promotion going on when I booked my photobooth so we were able to get the LOVE marquee letters for free which was such a beautiful extra touch to our decor!

tom of the strip, high quality pictures, unlimited prints for our guests, an additional print to be placed in a scrapbook where the guests could write a note with it and a prop box for guests to use in pictures! Nicole was our attendant the night of our wedding and the line for the booth was never too long! She kept the line moving well and without rushing anyone. The scrapbook she put together was beautiful and organized so well! I’ve known a lot of brides who get a photo booth with their DJ company or something and it never turns out as well. Ovation’s main purpose is photo booths (amongst other things) so you know you are getting a company that is well versed in the area! Thank you Nicole and the team at Ovation for making our night that much more fun!

at all. Nicole showed us the various options for a wedding. I instantly fell in love with Ovations 5 ft Love Letters and Marquee Letters. Nicole booked us in the Ovation office. She was soooo nice and pleasant to deal with.
At our Wedding we had booked the Flipbook Photo Booth, 5 Ft Love Letters and the 5 Ft Mr and Mrs. Our guests took numerous photos with the Love Letters. The Mr and Mrs were placed behind our Dias. Our photographer gave us a one on one personal photo shoot with the Letters.
The Flipbooks were a hit. Ovations package gave us a 4x6 photo as an add on to the Flipbook package. They were so easy to work with. Everything promised was delivered. No problems at all. We will be seeing them soon at my cousins wedding.
Ovation Photo Booth was awesome!! We used them for our November 17, 2017 wedding and it was a huge hit! We chose the green screen background and were able to choose 10 images that ...
we sent them for different backgrounds that our guests could choose for their photos. It was perfect for our galaxy theme wedding since we were able to do a lot of different images with outer space, galaxies, planets, etc. We also received a book with our guests photos that they could write in which we got at the end of the night! It was so much fun to look through the next day. They also did 3 photo gifs that we had sent to our email which was awesome!! Overall a great vendor to hire!

Ovation was great to work with. There were tons of props, and the attendants were great. Definitely recommend!
Used an open air photo booth and it was a hit. Arrived on time and set up with an employee present to assist. Props provided were great.

ized our photo layout for us and we got a copy of all of the pictures plus a photo album! Thank you all!!!
This was a horrible experience! They left 30 min early, arrived 15 minutes late, and took at least a 15 min break. My props consisted of 2 pairs of sunglasses and a bunch of ratty...
hats. Who wants to wear a hat when they've had their hair done?? I called to complain, and the owner is rude. Told me he doesn't care if they left early I will never get my money back. and that he "checks each prop crate". My "album" consists of all copies of the same picture and my guests didn't even know that it was there to sign. There are like 4 pages filled out! Everything about our wedding was perfect, but this was a nightmare. I really regret not doing research prior to booking them - I went with a quick and cheap price, and I didn't even get what I paid for.
We selected Ovation for their flip book Photo Booth option for our July 9th wedding. Overall, they were a fantastic vendor! The guests really enjoyed making their flip books, altho...
ugh a few guests were not told that they were not taking a picture and that they were recording a six-second video, so some flip books showed them standing still and then making some sort of late motion at the end. I would say it took about 15-20 minutes for guests to receive an assembled flip book. We also had an iPad uploading station stated in the contract, but we did not notice it was missing until the reception was over. However, it was not a deal-breaker for us, as the owner Ronnie e-mailed us the flip book videos after the event and I got to e-mail my guests their digital videos. Tee was very easy to work with to make the covers for the flip books - she was flexible and tried out different colors to get a desired look. I would use Ovation again in the future! Thanks for your hard work!
Though the lighting was a little off sometimes - not sure if it was the machine or the location of the photobooth - everyone loved the photobooth and had a great time with it. They...

Unfortunately I cannot recommend this vendor. We really did not have a pleasant experience with them on the day of our wedding and the days that followed. It started with them fo...
rgetting the poles for the backdrop at our wedding. Then we had two female attendants who were rude to our guests and gave NO direction. They were just hitting the button without telling people where to stand and/or allowing them to finish putting on their props. We paid for the slow-motion video booth and they did not allow all guests to record one or even explain to guests that thats what they were recording. This made for "not great" photos or videos which is EXTREMELY disappointing. After my wedding I had several guests call me letting me how rude they were treated- one of my guests even had her hand smacked by the attendant because she grabbed the wrong printout... who does that? Two of my guests took it upon themselves to contact the owner and they didnt even receive a call back. I personally spoke with the owner and he was only concerned with me not leaving them a bad review which is sad because I really was only looking for an apology and explanation. I spent two years saving and planning for my wedding day and was excited to have a different take on my photobooth- its too bad I do not have one nice thing to say about the service we received.
When my fiance and I decided on a photo booth we thought people would go in, take pictures have a laugh and get to leave with that memory. We had no idea how insanely fun our guest...
would find this. We're a young couple so our crowd was mostly young but even my grandma got in and enjoyed it, There were people in it the entire night! Plus you get an album with all the pictures taken, props for your guests and an attendant to help them out and assist your guests to make sure both you and your guests get copies. This was a great decision

Ordering was a breeze. They went through all the options with me several times. It took me awhile to decide but they were really patient with me. They're easy to get in touch with too which is super important.
The rental process was easy. They arrived in plenty of time for the reception. They set everything up. We didn't have to do anything. They were also on time to pick everything up. I recommend these guys!
For my wedding, I wanted something unique and special. I haven't attended many weddings that had photo booths, so that's what I decided to do. Guests want to have fun at weddings, ...
and It's not all about professional photos being taken. I spoke to Ronnie and worked out all of the details, and he gave me an excellent price. The booking process was extremely smooth and pain free. On the day of my wedding, the photo booth was there ahead of time, and the photo girl was extremely pleasant and friendly. The booth was such a hit, and the quality of pictures was amazing! The girl running out made everyone feel at ease and comfortable, and they all ranted and raved about both her and the booth all night long. Thanks for making my wedding day even more special!

t and when we refused to pay the amount for what the company did not deliver on (we are talking about a couple hundred dollars on a multi thousand dollar contract), the owner threatened to pull everything - lighting and all, which was already prepaid. Literally, the decision to use this vendor almost ruined our wedding day. I would stay far from this vendor and its owner, Ronnie, who acts like a child and needs to grow up.
Everyone at the wedding loved the photo booth, it was such a great addition to the wedding. The open photo booth was great, loved that the picture could hold 5+ people. Wish that...
we made our way to the booth more.
Thank you to Ronnie and the staff of Ovation for hooking up my wedding with an open air photo booth. It was DEFINITELY a hit among my guests. The pictures were absolutely hilarious...
and super clear. I got my guest book at the end of the night, as promised, and I received my flash drive with all the pictures about 3 weeks later! AWESOME company and AWESOME service.
I can't remember the name of the gentleman that worked at my event but I had to give him a huge thank you and also take a picture. I had about 135 guests, that wouldn't stop going to the booth, but he managed everything and my crazy guests very well.
Book with them....you won't be disappointed!

per helpful and friendly, we booked the open air photobooth. The open air booth also fit our budget-which was important to us. It was a total hit at our wedding! Our attendant was a sweetheart and helped to make sure all of our guests using the booth had a good time. Props were awesome and some of them even made it to the dance floor!! All of our guests had a blast and I am so happy we did the open air one- TONS of photobombing!! Made for great memories! The prints were great- very HD and we loved the bottom with our names and date. Highly recommended! Don't have your wedding without a photobooth from Ovation!
To provide some background, we hired Ovation for several services for our celebration (lights, photobooth, etc). Overall, our experience with this company was a terrible one and ve...
ry different than the many glowing reviews given to this company by others on this board. In general most of the Ovation employees were friendly but not at all helpful when the technology did not work as intended at our celebration. However, the major problem we had with Ovation was with the owner. The owner of this company (Ronnie) is a total jerk and a complete horror to deal with, particularly if there are problems with the rental services they provide (as was the case with our situation). I would be VERY weary of paying upfront for their services, as your only recourse should they not perform is a legal one. We would highly NOT RECOMMEND using this vendor.
We used Ovations for their flipbooks after seeing them at a bridal expo. The flipbooks were so much fun! Our guests really enjoyed making them and the staff was great. They printed...
one copy per person in the video, and printed any extras we requested. Even though people were consistently using the flipbook booth, the staff never seemed overwhelmed and remained friendly.

which really helped us decide on the open air photo booth. The attendant who came with the booth the day of our wedding was great at getting guests involved in doing the photo booth and giving them on ideas of poses to do if they couldn't think of anything and helping them figure out how to leave video messages to us. We got our album/guest book right at the end of the night, all put together for us! I was even surprised at how quickly we received the USB with all the photos and videos on it after the wedding (wedding was a Friday night, we got it in the mail on Tuesday!)! The photo booth was a huge hit and helped to make our wedding so much more fun and that much more unique!

‘original’ ideas – some of the better than others. We wanted our guests to have a good time and thought that a photo booth would be a good idea. We hired the Ovation Photo Booth and we were very happy how it all turned out. The photo booth was the main attraction of the night. I’d definitely recommend it to any wedding couple if they are looking for something entertaining and innovative. 5 stars to this company…
