My husband and I were married here earlier this month and can not recommend this venue enough! We picked this venue due to its BEAUTIFUL ball room, arched windows and the artwork b...
ut honestly the best part was Donna. She was so helpful throughout the entire process and was always there to answer my millions of questions. Absoultely adored the venue and staff and my husband and I truly did live the best day of our lives. Thank you OCAC!
The OCAC is a beautiful venue and Donna Stevens is fabulous to work with. We had our ceremony and reception in the ballroom, and Donna worked with our caterers to flip the room. We...
did not worry about anything all day. I was blown away by how beautiful the venue looked. I wanted a special place with a historic charm, and the OCAC definitely delivered. We had the perfect wedding here. I would highly recommend! :)
This venue has such great charm and decor that little decoration is needed. The rooms and layout of the building worked great for separate space for cocktail hour, photobooth, and ...
reception. The wood floor looks beautiful and the windows make for great light in the ballroom. Donna is very organized and easy to work with. We actually canceled our contract with the Marcum Center because they were very difficult to deal with. Donna made everything easy at the Community Art Center. For an Oxford/Miami University wedding, this is the place to have your reception.
The Oxford Community Art Center was a great space to have our reception. I grew up in Oxford and it was very important to me to have everything in Oxford rather than traveling to ...
Hamilton or Fairfield. Once I walked in, I knew immediately that the art center was it. It's a historical building that has been well maintained and cared for. Lots of windows for natural light to come in, hardwood floors, nice big rooms. We had use of basically the entire 1st floor of the building and it was very comfortable for the 150ish guests. The building coordinator, Donna, markets herself to you during your meeting as a wedding coordinator of sorts on the day of your wedding. Making sure that vendors are on same page, and saying she takes care of things so the day of is smooth, however, that was not the way it felt once the big day came. There were things that I still had to coordinate, take care of and deal with during the week of the wedding. My family and I were able to come in the Friday before the wedding to set up our centerpieces, place card table and gift tables. So that was helpful, however, there were a few wedding day details that when it came to it she said either I had to take care of or family, that she wouldn't. This was 24 hours before the wedding mind you...Luckily, I was able to get family to take care of those few wedding day details for me the morning of the wedding and all was good. But I later found out that Donna had taken care of these small details anyway. I just wasn't sure why she would say one thing that just added to an already stress-filled weekend, but then do another. That being said, Donna is great. She was able to accommodate meeting with me whenever I came to town (I live in Kentucky)if we needed to talk about something, and was super fast to respond to most of my emails. There were just a few little weird things here and there that I thought were a odd, but I still would have our reception at OCAC knowing what I know now for sure.
The Oxford Community Art Center is a beautiful historic building, and we had use of almost the entire first floor (cocktail hour in one parlor, buffet and bar in another, dinner an...
d dancing in the ballroom). We loved having so much space! Donna, the coordinator at the site, was very helpful as well, making sure everything went smoothly and all vendors were on the same page in the days leading up to the wedding and at the reception itself.
My husband and I feel in love with the Oxford Community Arts Center and it was they only venue we looked at. The building is gorgeousness. We loved that the sun shine in on us du...
ring our ceremony. Donna the wedding coordinator was amazing. She always answered my emails and was willing to sit down and meet with us when every she could. She went above and beyond and our wedding would not have been as amazing as it was without her. We are truly grateful for all of her help. Our wedding was perfect!

aff and event host are fantastic to work with.
We were excited to get married here because we had lived within sight of it in college and we both love old buildings. The coordinator, Donna, was extremely nice and helpful. The g...
uys who work in the office at the center were always willing to answer questions as best they could when Donna wasn't available. Donna was extremely organized and made planning the day easy. She was very flexible and we were able to visit the venue any time because it is open during the day. The layout was great! We used the center for both our wedding and our reception. We had about 115 guests and we were very comfortable.
I was completely satisfied with my experience at the art center. Our wedding turned out exactly like we visioned it. Donna was truly a godsend. She responded to any of my frantic b...
ridezilla phone calls or emails immediately. I would recommend this facility to anyone!
The Oxford Community Art Center is a perfect place to have a wedding ceremony, reception or other party. The location is large, is affordable and flexible.
We had the ceremony ...
and reception here and our guests raved about the building, the decor, the lighting and the staff.
Donna Stevens (the event coordinator) and the entire staff of the OCAC facilitated a glitch-free wedding. They accommodated all of our needs and were an essential part of connecting together all of our vendors and making sure that they delivered, setup and did what they needed to.
Should we through another large party, we will not hesitate to use the OCAC.
OCAC was a great venue for our wedding reception. It turned out to be very good and very beautiful. The planning process was a bit stressful. OCAC was not very flexible and accommo...
dating on their own, so a lot of work went into it on our part. There were also some last minute changes on OCAC's part that were not included in the contract, but yet we were made to abide by. All in all, we loved the venue despite some frustrating parts.
I had my wedding here. The room is beautiful and held approx. 200 perfectly with rectangle tables. The biggest issue was that lots of things in our so called contract changed betwe...
en when I signed it and when the wedding actually happened. For example the ballroom had a small piano in it and it was supposed to be moved to the theater, however they recieved a new one and told me 2 weeks prior that it would not leave the room . . . which took up the room for at least 1 of my tables. Also, since we could not set up the night before a friend offered to miss the wedding and set up for me. She said that the staff was increasingly rude to her and they were giving tours of the facility and letting people pick up my centerpieces and favors . . . When I was told no one else would be in the facility around my rental. The price was good though $1300 for 3 rooms however if you order extra tables you have to get your own table cloths. Overall, my wedding turned out beautiful and the gentleman who was there for the end of our reception was amazing, but I could have done without the changes and drama from the rental coordinator.
