Our Son and Daughter In-law were married on New Year's Eve 12.31.23. Our guest count consisted of approximately 220, and I can honestly say that Oxford Soul hit a home run that night. From the minute they started their first set the dance floor was packed. As the evening continued, the dance floor grew . We followed the reception with a New Years Eve party that went on unit 1;00 am with over 150 guest still celebrating. My phone blew up for two weeks from friends and family telling me what an amazing time they had and how awesome the band was. Can't thank Oxford Soul enough for making this wedding epic!!

Oxford Soul was incredibly easy and fun to work with the night of and in the lead up to our wedding day. Each person we spoke to during the planning process and on the night of our wedding provided great support and hospitality and were always responsive. They were low-maintenance and listened to all of our requests, even ones that we made the night of the wedding. We had so many compliments about our band, and it was one of the favorite parts of our special day. They were also reasonably priced. We would recommend them for anyone looking for an entertaining band that will certainly add a meaningful exclamation point to their wedding night.

Oxford Soul was an easy yes when it came to booking our band! My uncle helped us go through a list of bands and sent us the one's he approved of. When my fiancé and I listened to their videos and went through other reviews, we knew they had the sound we wanted and could curate any setlist we needed. Post wedding, guests continue to gush over how great Oxford Soul was and we fully agree. Their energy, professionalism, communication, and artistry is incredible and we wish we could get married all over again just to have them preform one more time!

We cannot recommend Oxford Soul enough! We got married a year and a half ago and any time we speak to someone that attended our wedding, they ALWAYS mention how much they were blown away by the band. They were excellent in coordinating and communicating, and on our big day they were the perfect hosts and entertainers. 10/10 would recommend to any and everyone.

When it comes to planning weddings, the role of the father of the bride is typically limited to signing checks. I insisted, however, that Oxford Soul perform at my daughter’s wedding in Clearwater having seen the band perform a couple years earlier in Nashville. The staff and musicians of Oxford Soul were professional, cooperative, informative, responsive, talented and most definitely entertaining. We received numerous compliments from our guests proclaiming Oxford Soul to be the best wedding band they had heard, and we agree.

The amount of compliments we got were unbelievable. Our planner recommended this band it was the best decision ever. They know how to work the crowd. The play a variety of genres if and just really know how to get the crowd going with the right song at the right time. Their DJ playlist during intermission is incredible as well. They give you a detailed questionnaire to ensure all your wants and desires are taken care of prior to the bid day. 100% recommend 10/10!

Oxford Soul is a phenomenal band that will keep your party rocking! A good friend had them for her wedding and after that night it was a no brainer that they would be at the top of the list for my wedding day. They are easy to work with, fun and energetic, incredibly gifted, and one of the first things my guests mention when they are reflecting on our special day. They got all of our music preferences and generated the perfect set list to fit us. I cannot recommend them enough! You cannot go wrong with them.

We've booked Oxford Soul for our Company Holiday Party for the past two years, and they have brought a stellar performance each time! They are an extremely talented group of singers/musicians and are very engaging with the crowd. From planning to execution, they have great communication and are flexible and eager to work with you on creating the best experience for your guests. This band is absolutely OUTSTANDING. My wedding was the only wedding that I've ever been to where literally every guest was on the dance floor all night. Many guests came up to me and told me that it was the best wedding band that they've ever heard. The team was responsive, personal, professional, and cared deeply about our taste in music and needs.

Hiring Oxford Soul was the absolute BEST decision made planning my daughters wedding. The number one goal for her and now hubby was to have the most fun, energetic, welcoming and comfortable experience for everyone. Mission accomplished thanks to Oxford Soul. First step was to search through the bands listed on The Knot website. The moment the Oxford Soul hype video came on SHE WAS SOLD!! When you know you know. UNBELIEVABLE ENERGY! She couldn’t contact them fast enough. So many things to be excited about planning a wedding and this was our favorite. Once confirmed they reached out to her and listened to what her vision was for the night. They made sure to compile lists of songs she definitely wanted to hear as well as songs she did not want played. The interaction between the band and guests was amazing. No one wanted to leave the dance floor all night. When they say they are going to play for so many hours… buckle up because they do just that! I remember only one small break. We actually needed that for a few special things we needed to do ourselves for the newlyweds. So to sum up, if you want the most memorable experience and so much fun you can’t stand it…. Hire Oxford Soul. They are THE BEST!

They matched the tone of the wedding, were tuned into the feeling of the night, and are insanely talented. They were also so easy to work with, FUN, and incredibly kind. Oxford Soul provided exactly what we needed and more! They were setup and ready right on time. From the very beginning of the evening to the end of the night our guests were having a blast. They even threw in a few old patriotic classics we requested since it was right before 4th of July. The thoughtfulness, professionalism, and musicianship was second to none. So many of our guests were saying how they sounded like a touring band. Honestly couldn’t recommend these guys enough for a wedding or party of any kind. If you like to party, these are your people.

Oxford Soul put on an incredible show for our wedding! From the very first conversation we had pre-pandemic, all the way to our wedding day 2 years later, they were extremely accommodating and helpful. Their entire team was a pleasure to work with. Our friends and family, months after the wedding, still talk about how fun and incredibly talented the musicians and vocalists were. We made a special request for a couple of our songs (first dance, mother/ son) and they performed them better than we could have imagined. My wife and I highly recommend them to any couple looking for a young energetic band to make it a wonderful night to remember!

It is hard to put into words how essential Oxford Soul was to our wedding reception. As someone who always thinks wedding DJs are the corniest people alive, we were dead set on a band but also didn't want it to sound like my garage band did when I was 12. If you have any doubts about Oxford Soul whatsoever, go to their youtube channel and just give it a listen - these guys are unbelievable. I will never forget my parents, grandparents, friends, and coworkers all rocking out to the same music on the dance floor and having an absolute blast thanks to this top tier band.

I am writing this review of our band from the perspective of the parents of our daughter who married in March, 2021. This wedding had been delayed for approximately one year because of the COVID lockdowns in 2020. We had hired the band, Oxford Soul, as early as 2019 to be the entertainment for the reception at a private social club in the upstate of South Carolina after the wedding. In having to reschedule the wedding date from 2020 to 2021, the band was so good to work with and made the change of date happen seamlessly. The playlist that my daughter and wife had requested was extensive and diverse in sound, but very easy to arrange. The group showed up and were set up on time...and were they ever so ready to perform! They played for about 3 hours, rocking us with an incredible vocals team accompanied by great music from the band, including a horns section. Their enthusiasm to be there for us was palpable as 150 people at the reception “let loose” nearly two years of pent-up happiness, joy, and celebration for our daughter and her husband. It is an understatement to say that Oxford Soul created an atmosphere of great sounds and enthusiasm that appealed to everyone, and sent all of our guests, and I mean every single guest, to the dance floor…from the youngest guests at age 5 to our oldest guests at age 90. At the conclusion of the reception we, the bride and groom and their families, realized that the reception could not have been better. I credit Oxford Soul for creating that celebratory atmosphere where everyone cut loose and just had a good time, which has prompted us now to call the reception the Upstate Throw-down! Congratulations and all our thanks to Oxford Soul!

I cannot say enough amazing things about Oxford Soul. They were fantastic at my wedding! I sent a specific playlist of songs to play via MP3 during dinner and band breaks and they played exactly what I asked for. The band was so fun, and kept everyone on the dance floor the whole night! Oxford Soul was super responsive to every email, very accommodating, and helpful. I would hire them again in a heartbeat! Awesome! We could not have asked for a better band! Communication with Ali via email prior to the event was always prompt, informative and professional. She quickly answered all of my questions. The band arrived for set up right on time. As soon as the first song was played, I knew it was going to be a great night! Guests danced the night away and many told us it was the most fun wedding they'd ever attended! That was just what we wanted to hear. We really hit jackpot when we selected Oxford Soul. We couldn't have asked for more!

Oxford Soul is the BEST wedding band out there. They had our guests on the dance floor the ENTIRE night! Our dream! Not only are they all amazing musicians/singers, they are so fun and kind and easy to work with! Wish we could get married again just to experience the band again!!

Best decision I made for my son's Bar Mitzvah Party! I reviewed MANY bands and Oxford Soul was a whole other level above the rest. They are authentic, fun, mega-talented, and energizing. So many of our guests told us how it was the most fun they had had in a long time! WE agreed! There is nothing like a live band when they know how to rock it and Oxford Soul is a gem!

Unbelievable awesome group! We hired Oxford Soul for our company Christmas Party and they absolutely killed it! You will not believe the quality of the sound. This is not just some garage band hitting the street for a quick buck. You will feel like you are attending a top notch, highly produced concert! The sound is great and the music choices got everyone dancing. They even let me get up with the band and sing a song! So much fun. You will NOT be disappointed!

I can’t even count the number of compliments we got for this band. It was as if Beyoncé, The Beach Boys, Justin Timberlake, etc had all graced us on the dance floor. It was 100 degrees and we couldn’t even be dragged inside to the AC bc the band was this phenomenal. If you’re a party that likes to dance - this is the band.

What a fun wedding band! Quite honestly, I think Oxford Soul would be fun for any event with the wide array of songs and genres they provided. It certainly completed our reception though. I love music and am very particular about it and I have not one single complaint about anything - their vocals, beat, lights, all of it was flawless. You can tell they practice together regularly and care about their delivery. They were punctual and easy to get a hold as we needed them. And we did change song requests a few times prior to the event and they went above and beyond to accommodate our requests. SO many people have contacted me after the wedding to inquire about the musical group. They come highly recommended from my husband and I (and the 160+ people in attendance that evening!) - and we hope to see them live again soon!

We eloped and had a reception after so it was basically just a big party with a band. Oxford Soul was the primary entertainment and man did they entertain!! We had so much fun! I am not a dancer and I did not leave the dance floor the entire night! I would highly recommend them for any event as long as you want a great party!

Oh my goodness, I literally cannot recommend Oxford Soul highly enough!! I took a gamble booking them as I hadn’t seen them in person before our wedding but they were hands down the best decision we made! The dance floor was PACKED from the beginning! It was a total blast and I cannot thank them enough!!

Holy smokes. We are still catching feels from partying with Oxford Soul at our wedding!! This band made our wedding reception such an amazing experience for all of our guests. Zach, Bryson, Austin and everyone else in the band absolutely crushed it! We had such an amazing time ringing in the next chapter of our lives. All of our requested songs and every minor detail leading up to the band taking the stage was executed flawlessly! Everyone came up to us saying how much they loved the band and were so impressed at how easily the group was able to transition from the oldies to the goodies and back again to make sure there was a little something for guests of all ages. The venue staff, our day of coordinators, and photographers were all blown away too! Thanks again to the band from the bottom of our hearts.

After considering some other local options, we decided to go with Oxford Soul and we could not have been happier! They exceeded our expectations in every regard. Their sound was excellent, having covered such a large range of music from modern pop tracks to our slower first dance song. Every single one of our guests was on the dance floor the entire night. I’m not exaggerating when I say it felt way more like a concert than a stuffy wedding event. We went with a 7pc arrangement, and I would highly recommend it. Having the additional artists made for great variety in their sets and a very full sound. We could not have made a better choice with our wedding band and know you’ll have the same experience when you entrust your special day with Oxford Soul!

Oxford Soul was the highlight of our wedding. They were the best wedding band I have ever seen, and everything I imagined and more. Having an amazing band our #1 and we looked hard and long to find Oxford Soul. Somehow we stumbled upon their website and it was a no brainer when we saw the videos. Further, the communication from the band was above and beyond. They responded to every question thoughtfully and quickly. They really know what they are doing - very professional. They have this down to a science by sending out a questionnaire and then we provided a list of songs we liked from what they performed in addition to them learning 2 new songs we casually asked about. They were amazing at the wedding - everyone was on the dance floor and loving the band. The only thing I wish we would have changed was adding a larger dance floor! They played all the songs we requested and kept a good mix of new and old that got everyone fired up. Worth every single penny. The singers were on point - they played Prince - Kiss and the singer hit every single note. Most of us were watching in awe as he sing the song. It was unreal. Literally we were on the dance floor the entire night - this band is young, fresh and has amazing vocals and musical talent. It's not your average wedding band - we had soo many compliments - many saying it was the best wedding band they too had seen. We were thrilled to see all our friends and family dancing and having fun since that was all we wanted.

Oxford Soul was one of the highlights of our wedding. Everyone at the wedding was raving about how incredible of a performance it was. Great song choices, read the energy of the party, and kept everyone on the dance floor with the right amount of energy. Our guests are still commenting on how much fun the band was. They made the planning process easy, taking into account our preferences. There wasn't a single song that I would replace on their set list. We asked them to do a couple of challenging songs (e.g., John Legend - All of Me) and they were amazing. The vocal ranges of the singers was impressive. We had them play all of our first dances (couple, father/daughter, mother/son) and they were so much better than if we had done a recording. Couldn't recommend them highly enough. We weren't able to see them perform live before booking but their videos are representative of their performance. Can't thank them enough for putting on such an incredible show and making it an unforgettable night for us.

Oxford Soul is an amazing band! They had three different vocalists, with amazing range (from Prince to Wagon Wheel to John Legend) and we couldn’t be happier with them. We got lots of compliments from our guests too. HIGHLY RECOMMEND these guys!!

Oxford Soul was amazing! We got so many compliments on how good they were, so I know we weren't the only ones who thought so. Throughout the process, leading up to the day, they were great to work with. The learned the Hora (a traditional Jewish reception song), our first dance song and our dance songs with our parents. They also let me highlight a bunch of songs I loved on their playlist and cross out some I hated. They stuck to all our requests, playing many favorites, ending on our requested song , DJ'ing an EDM song we wanted to walk out to, etc. One of the best parts was our first dance. We did Elton John's Your Song, that was re-made by Ellie Goulding, and couldn't decide which version we wanted them to play. They did a combo with both their lead female and male vocalists and it sounded amazing! Latricia's voice was incredible. My friends all described them as a cool mix of Mumford & Sons meets Bruno Mars with that were all attractive. I'm sure they have other sounds as well, but they did a great job sticking to the genres we like the most. They were also accommodating to the order we wanted things to go down (ex. play a few songs, break for dinner, hora, then party) and were great on the fly if we needed to switch anything up to make time for things like speeches and bathroom breaks. All the band members were very nice, professional and truly made the party! They were so fun, and they came with plenty of time to get set-up, sound check, etc. My husband and I highly recommend them and feel super grateful they were our wedding band!

Oxford Soul did an amazing job providing entertainment for our wedding reception! Everyone who sang that night was awesome. We had so many guests come up and ask us where we found the band and who they were. They were not too loud so everyone could have conversation, but they provided a great dance space for those who wanted to party! They also did a great job providing a smooth transition for all the events (cake cutting, dances, etc). We would recommend Oxford Soul 10/10!!

The Oxford Soul were FABULOUS!! Ali was so great about connecting with me making sure she got everything I wanted. They did a survey asking what kind of music I liked and any specific songs I wanted them to play. They were SPOT ON! So many people came up to me after the wedding raving about the band. I’m so glad I got them to do our wedding! I would definitely recommend them to anyone!

Oxford Soul played our wedding and they were excellent! Very professional, extremely accommodating, and amazing musicians and vocalists! They even kept the party going when the venue lost power for 20 minutes right in the middle of their set. We couldn’t be happier and can’t say enough about these guys. The Oxfords made our wedding night absolutely unforgettable! We wanted to dance the night away and the band made our entire evening memorable with the perfect song selections and attention to detail. This was one of the most important decisions for us as a couple and we would choose the Oxfords 10 times out of 10!
