rganized and didn't really seem to care about our day. A week before the wedding I went to meet with her and she was still asking the same questions from our first meeting 4 months prior. At least review your notes the week before the wedding if you don't care to remember on your own. She also didn't know and asked twice about payment, which I paid in full way ahead of time. #2 I was specifically asked to drop off certain pieces of decoration that needed to be put up by the staff two weeks prior to our wedding date. However, when we arrived to decorate the day before nothing had been done. If I had known I would have saved my gas money and time and brought them with me the day before with all the other decorations. #3 My fiancee and I went to great lengths to go through the music packet and pick out what we wanted played, etc. It was a waste of time because one of the very first songs was a song we specifically DID NOT want played. And certain dedications were an afterthought and played after the last dance or not at all. #4 While you get a lot for the money at this venue, I'm not sure it is worth it because of the staff's lack of consideration for the bride and groom and their families. There was inclement weather before the ceremony and the mother of the bride had to beg for the chairs to be dried off for guests. When this was not done she had to do it herself in her gown. There were also multiple requests that fell on deaf ears for simple things like a microphone for readers and the pastor. The so-called wedding coordinator was rolling silverware while all this was going on and when she should have been working to get things taken care of that were more pressing. I would not go through the hassle and headache of booking at OCC. Spend some extra money and get what you pay for or hire a friend to run themselves ragged for you as your coordinator picking up where the staff just can't get it together.

sils, toasting flutes, cake serving, DJ and photo booth for one price. The food was wonderful and they also offered other add-ons like candy buffet, etc. Laura was wonderful to work with. We really enjoyed the venue and it offered some really nice photo opportunities.

was unreliable and difficult to work with and because I had such an awful experience with her, I am sad to say I would not recommend this venue even though my wedding did turn out wonderful. Experiences with Coordinator: -I had a meeting scheduled with the event coordinator to go over details, when I got to the country club; she told me she could not meet with me anymore and to come back another day. No e-mail or phone call was made to make me aware of these changes. -I scheduled a food tasting and asked to taste 2 items. Neither one of the items were available for me to taste. -When I had a question, I had to e-mail her 3 or 4 times before I would get a response from her. -When we met to finalize all the details of my wedding, she did not know when my wedding was, if I was getting married there, or which rooms I wanted. I would have assumed she would have this information somewhere and would have reviewed it before the meeting. -I was told everything would be set up, cleaned, and ready to go by 10:00. We I arrived at 10:30, the room was still dirty from the night before. My parents and bridal party had to clean the room and help set up since it was not done. -I never received the cheese tray or champagne I was supposed to get for the dressing room. I had to have my dad go out and get snacks since we had nothing to eat. -She was MIA most of the wedding day. There was only one person cleaning and organizing the rooms and no one seemed to know what they should be doing. -She tried to over-charge me several times on room and food rates. She also forgot to add my deposits into the final bill totals, twice. Like I said before, the food, music, and location were wonderful, and my wedding turned out to be perfect. The event coordinator just made everything a huge, unnecessary head-ache and I would recommend some place that has an easy to work with coordinator.

Our guests were very pleased with the food. Atmosphere was warm and comfortable for a winter wedding. Prompt communication/response was lacking between us and the event planner. Again, overall, our reception turned out perfectly!

s fantastic, the wait staff were awesome (and fun!), and again, Oxmoor's wedding coordinator, Laura, is SUCH a pleasure to work with. I would absolutely recommend Oxmoor in a heartbeat. We loved our reception!

n in June so the room got quite hot. Food was great and overall the prices were comparable to other country clubs in the area. Biggest complaint was the night before the wedding I went bye to set up a few things and the room was not put together. They had the wrong color tablecloths and many of them were dirty. However the turned it around and the room looked beautiful for the ceremony. Also disappointed because I was not told of the additional charge for extra hours (after 4 hours) when asked about this during our first consultation. Overall would recommend for a wedding ceremony venue

On the wedding day the food was great and everything went just as planned!

what to do. I didn't have to worry about a thing! They relieved me of a lot of stress and helped me to enjoy the most important day of my life! Also, the food is fantastic! I would recommend this vendor to anyone in a heartbeat!
