There are a lot of beautiful wedding venues out there but the true priceless gem of having a wedding at Oyster Bay is getting to work with the wedding coordinators Ashton and Sarah. This was a destination wedding for us and they made the entire process so smooth with their guidance and the strong relationships they already have established with the best vendors in the area. On our wedding day they seamlessly made timeline decisions to work around a pop up rain storm, held umbrellas over us in between shots as we took photos on the docks, were SO kind to all of our family members and guests… the list goes on. Lastly, the food. We got so many compliments on the food and we could not agree more!! Everything was so delicious and fresh! I truly cannot recommend this venue and this team enough. Thank you for the perfect wedding!

arah and Anika, made the planning process so enjoyable. Ashton helped us pick vendors that were wonderful to work with, and this in itself helped make the entire wedding season so much fun! The venue itself is exquisite. From the coastal charm of the yacht club to the whimsical feel of the property grounds with the backdrop of the intercoastal, this venue fit everything we could have dreamed of for our wedding day. The day of the wedding the staff executed each moment flawlessly and made sure that we had no worries and all enjoyment! The kitchen staff prepared delicious food, and the attending staff made all of our guests feel carefree to enjoy themselves! I wish we could give 10 stars!

any great places for photos! We loved how quiet and private it was as well, having the whole place to ourselves. Ashton and Sarah took care of everything from start to finish, from coordinating all of our vendors and the OBYC staff, to keeping our crazy families in line, to doing everything - and I mean everything - to make sure my husband and I had the BEST day (keeping us fed, helping us stay on schedule for photos, etc., clearing the venue for our private final dance, packing up all of our personal items at the end of the night, and sending us home with several to-go containers of delicious food). Our guests still say it was some of the best food they’ve ever eaten – Wagyu beef sliders and crab cake appetizers, chicken saltimbocca, blackened red snapper, garlic mashed potatoes, sauteed asparagus, etc. Ashton/team makes YOU the focus and priority from the very first meeting. They will do everything to make your vision come to life. We appreciated all they did to keep us on schedule leading up to wedding, and despite how fast/hectic the actual day can be, were great at helping us remember to take it all in and enjoy it. We simply did not want the experience to ever end, we can’t wait to come back here to celebrate our anniversary!

The team at the venue was fantastic, everything went like clockwork, everyone was poised and always made us feel like they had everything under control (which they did.) The food and beverage service and the quality of the food and specialty drinks were spot on, and I cannot think of one thing that was an issue. All of the vendors that Ashton recommended were top notch, and would not hesitate to recommend any of them. Lastly, I felt like I should mention that we have had so many compliments about the wedding and that this is the best one they have ever attended!!! Cheyenne was just as fantastic and our day was amazing. She was so attentive and returned our phone calls and emails in 24 hours. You will be so glad that you booked Oyster Bay. I was in college full time about to graduate, job hunting, and planning a move all near the end of our wedding planning process….and having the wedding coordinator at OBYC was a life saver. I worked with Ashton for most of my process, and then in the weeks before my wedding I worked with Cheyenne. Both were so kind and helpful in the wedding planning process. ❤ The whole team at the club went above and beyond what we were hoping for. It was so wonderful to not have to worry about the reception in the days leading up to the wedding because I knew they all had everything handled. They told me to drop off my décor a few days early and they would handle everything else (decorating, contacting vendors, handling food and beverage, etc.). I will forever be grateful for every ounce of effort and detail put into helping us have the best day ever! 😊 When I first walked into the main reception area, it took my breath away and I teared up. Cheyenne really understood the aesthetic I was looking for and had decorated everything so beautifully with the décor I had given her and some of the club’s décor. I can’t tell you how many people during and after the reception told me it was the most well organized, beautiful, and fun reception they had been to! We got SOOOOO many comments on how amazing the food was too. Shout out to the kitchen staff for helping me with my dietary restrictions! They made sure I had food that was safe for me to eat with my allergens, and they even packed a to go box for me to eat later that night! It was delicious and honestly some of the best food I have had! 😊 Everyone kept asking me “how I found this place” during and after the wedding, and it was thanks to all of the raving reviews they had online! Having gone through our wedding now I can confirm they deserve 100% of those raving reviews! ❤ This venue is one of the hidden secrets of the Fernandina area….I think every bride should consider them for their wedding day! OBYC gave us the beautiful wedding of our dreams! It couldn’t have gone any better, and we are SO grateful to have gotten the opportunity to work with such a talented team. I cannot recommend OBYC enough if you are looking for the wedding of your dreams and the best day ever! husband and I had no idea what we were doing when we walked into our first planning session but by the time we left, we were confident that they would make our wedding day very special and exactly what we wanted! They communicated with us regularly over the months following to help us stay on track and prepare for the wedding! On wedding day, it ended up raining but because of all of their planning and preparation they were well equipped to still provide us the day we had always dreamed of and we had a blast!! We definitely recommend this venue if you want a beautiful setting, amazing food, and incredible staff helping you along the way!!!

rooms - the wedding planners were there within 24 hours with help. We mainly worked with Ashton throughout the process, but the day of the wedding (she went into labor) we worked with Cheyenne and Terri. I seriously cannot say enough good things about all 3 of the se wonderful, hard working, and thoughtful women. We opted to use the bridal suite to get ready - this was gorgeous, plenty of room, beautiful views, a full kitchen, and just steps from the venue. The venue was STUNNING!! I had many people tell meet was the most beautiful wedding they had every been to. The ceremony area was gorgeous and the perfect size, we had around 98 people in attendance. They have a great plan B if needed, but luckily enough we had 70 degree weather and sunny skies. For the reception, its kind of an inside/outside area but if it is too cold, they have heaters and plastic windows. I was never too cold or hot. They also have 2 fireplaces. The food was also amaaaazing. We chose shrimp and grits and grilled chicken with salsa as the main options. Our appetizers were chicken and waffle bites, jerk shrimp, and cheese and crackers. It was hands down the best night of my life. Also, your pictures will be stunning, they steal bride and groom for 15 minutes of sunset pictures (I have some down below). I don't have may professional ones back yet but I've put some up for y'all. If you don't choose Oyster Bay to host your perfect day, you're crazy!

Terrie and Cassie were always quick to respond to my (millions) of questions and provided feedback based on their knowledge and past experience. There was never a time they were unavailable to me, making me feel like I was the only wedding she was planning. Terrie and her team exude creativity and confidence, and pulled together the perfect wedding reception. They went out of their way to bring our vision to life in their gorgeous space. Not to mention she allows you to use some of the club’s personal items, which is so generous of them! Based on this, and the fact that club is spectacular on its own, we didn’t need to add many decorations. This allowed us to splurge on food and beverages, which are 5 star quality! All night long, all I heard from guests were compliments about the space, the décor, the food, the cocktails, and the service…really there was not one single complaint. The team exceeded our expectations in every way, and allowed us to focus on enjoying ourselves. I would, without hesitation, recommend OBYC to anyone, as they are truly amazing. Thank you Terrie, Cassie, and everyone else behind the scenes. You guys really captured what we wanted and we couldn’t have been happier.

nside was already so beautiful that we needed to do very little decorating and LOVED Terrie and her staff. With my parents and I being out of town, we couldn't have made a better choice in terms of someone to make the entire process stress free and perfect. Anytime we needed something - from a basket for the program fans, to votives for the mantle -Terrie would say, oh, we have that! The food was excellent and many of our guests commented on that. They exceeded our expectations in every way - including little details like bringing water out to the bridal party while we were having pictures taken, having appetizers and drinks for the bridal party after the photos, and on and on. You won't find a more beautiful venue with more helpful and attentive staff. Thanks to LouAnn for sewing the bustle in my dress - now that's service :) Our day was everything we hoped for and we still haven't stopped smiling. Thank you OBYC and Terrie Sanders!!

nly got better, after searching online we saw review after review raving about Terrie and the team at Oyster Bay. From the moment we contact Terrie she was beyond helpful having all the answers we needed plus more! I didn't know what to expect from a Wedding Coordinator but Terrie exceeded every expectation we had. After the Wedding, people ask how was the big day, was it everything you hoped for. I can honestly say that I never imagined being able to say it was better than I even imagines. And I credit that to Terrie and OBYC - they have a system down, with all the information to put you at ease. They exceeded our expectations when they offered to do so many things the days leading up to the wedding, when we were still putting small decorations together, they said. "Nope, we'll do that" They really take all the pressure off you and take it into their own, very capable hands. Besides Terrie and her wonderful team everything else about the Club was marveous...the food, the scenery, the decor -- all perfect. We had SO many guests come up to us during and after the wedding saying it was the most beautiful, unique wedding/venue they'd ever been to. I'm actually going to miss Wedding planning and working with Terrie.
