Ozan Vineyards and Winery

I had my May 2018 wedding at Ozan Winery. We had 80 guests, and overall, our wedding turned out great. The venue is absolutely gorgeous, and our guests complimented the beautiful views. We had the most breathtaking sunset too! As for our layout, we used the side patio as the dance floor, which was a bit un-level, but it worked out just fine. We had some string lights set up, and it was quite whimsical to dance under the stars with our guests! We used the back indoor room for catering, and there is more room than you would expect. The main tasting room was the drink service and cake display table, which worked out great. Of note, you cannot bring in outside wine or liquor, and have to purchase their packages. The wine is reasonably priced, but there was no discount for the liquor package, as you pay the full-price ($8/drink). Originally, we were going to have both our ceremony and reception at Ozan, but due to inclement weather leading up to our event, we ended up just having the reception at Ozan. We did not have any problems with the flow of the event, and there was plenty of room for all of our guests and vendors. It is a great venue, and there are multiple ways to set up your event so that it is very unique and memorable. I would note that the event coordinator, Paige, was not as organized as I would have liked. Leading up to the wedding, she was not very accommodating. I know that they aren't a wedding venue, but she was not as friendly or helpful as I would expect someone in charge of weddings to be. We had some miscommunication on several topics, and I did not feel that she was customer-orientated. She rushed us out of the venue at the end of the evening. Overall, if you have your own coordinator/wedding planner, this won't be too much of an inconvenience, but it was a drawback for us.
