Ozark Mix

Ozark Mix had our entire guest list (many diff generations) all on the dance floor. Never a break - just outstanding music all night.

So disappointed. I was so confident that everything was going to go smoothly with this vendor. We definitely did not get what we asked for or paid for. Very professional Staff and the information provided to us and asked of us was extremely detailed and thought through so we felt very comfortable that we had the right Dj on board. This is the only vendor we had that we immediately paid in full and was very clear about what we wanted and it gave me anxiety the entire day. After providing a very detailed response to our Planner per their request they somehow manage to almost ruin our day. The song my husband walk down the isle to was not the song we requested. My song started way before i got to the entrance of the isle (which could have be instructions provided by the planner) but not what we asked for. We specifically asked if we needed someone to go through our program separately from the Dj and was reassured that that was covered in the services and the Dj would MC and ensure everything went smoothly. Absolutely caosis! We didnt know what was happening when and just moving from one thing to the next as we remembered from the timeline our planner provided. He didn't do a great job at using the microphone and making the announcements. You could barely hear this man. There were folks walking back and forth to the bar while my husband and his mom were having their dance. I would need 5000 words to tell you all the crap that happened that irrated me after being so specific in our requests. We provided a list of songs for cocktail hour and there was NO MUSIC AT ALL, played during our cocktail hour. Mt family and friends had to be giving telling the dj which songs to play after we provided a very detailed list, just to avoid this. I could go on and on but I wouldn't hire them again for anything. All that aside, the sound quality was great and folks still have a great time but effectiveness and smooth operation is a 1/10 for us.

I have had the honor of working with Russ as a wedding vendor myself on many occasions. I knew when I got engaged, he was hands down going to be the one we chose! Russ and his team treat other wedding vendors will care and kindness which is very important in making your day smooth and enjoyable. We had the chance to have Christian from Russ’s team who was absolutely amazing! He listened to our needs and wants, curated the songs to fit our special day specifically & treated all of my wedding guests with consideration. He kept the dance floor ALIVE and entertained the reception with his upbeat attitude. He set the tone for the reception and that’s all we ever wanted! The photo booth was a hit and well worth the extra add on. DO IT!!! You won’t regret hiring them & that’s coming from a bride & wedding photographer herself. They’re one heck of a wonderful team.

We had Britton as our wedding DJ. The lighting and playlist they had were great and kept people engaged and on the dance floor. They were easy to coordinate and communicate with, and were responsive to our questions throughout the planning process. We also did the photo booth through them with the print outs and the digital copies and it was a big hit for our guests! They were very good about printing an extra copy of the photos for us to keep. We would use them again and recommend them if you are looking for a great DJ!

Ozark Mix is amazing! They made our wedding into such a fun party, everyone was dancing all night! They helped our dream wedding come true, high recommend to anyone wanting to have a super fun wedding!

Genuinely the highlight of our day. Russ was absolutely incredible. The dance floor was never empty -- he got EVERYONE up and dancing, which is a huge feat. Also the photo booth add on is a must. It was our guests' favorite part of the wedding. It was never empty either! Truly can't imagine our day without Russ...worth every cent and more!

Russ is a pro. He read the crowd very well and played the perfect songs. Absolute bangers. He made our wedding reception a complete party. He’s also got a beautiful DJ set up that is very ascetically pleasing. Not mention he was very kind to us in our meeting before the wedding. Highly recommend him.

Excellence all the way around! The attendants were super kind to our guests. The pictures were excellent! And the prints were bright, clear, and 4x6 in size. We got as many as we wanted. I cannot say enough good things about our experience!

From the first time we talked over zoom to the actual wedding day, this company was professional, communicated excellently, and made sure everything went smoothly. We used Russ for our ceremony music on our wedding day at Ballroom on I Street, as well as Ozark Pix for the photo booth. We are SO happy we chose to have them apart of our special day. Our guests were thrilled about the photo booth and it was used from start to finish. Some of my favorite pictures of our wedding day came from the photo booth set-up! I highly recommend using Ozark Mix/Pix for any DJ or pictures needs on your special day!

Russ was nothing short of incredible. He made planning so so easy! I have had so many people tell me it was the best / most fun wedding they’ve ever been to and Russ is the reason for that. We had both dancing and karaoke! The guest loved every minute of the party. I truly could not recommend him enough. The whole event was perfect and he played such a big role in that.

From the time I met Russ, I knew he was “our kinda people”. I knew within the first 2 minutes that I was going to hire him for our destination wedding in Eureka. Let me tell ya, he did NOT disappoint. Our dance floor was full the entire night (Even during cocktail hour)! Our wedding guests spanned MULTIPLE generations, with various music taste varying from Salsa, punk rock, to EDM. At one point in the evening me, my husband, my step daughter, and our elderly parents were all Skanking to rancid. It was truly the best moment of our lives. I agree 100% with these AMAZING reviews!! There was a fall out two weeks before my wedding with a previous DJ, and I was referred to Ozark Mix. Absolutely the BEST change that could have happened!! Russ was a GREAT communicator, and showed absolutely genuine care to our needs. He was thorough to understand our music requests, and he executed a wonderful job throughout the entire wedding. The music was never too loud or too soft -always perfect. He had a wonderful mix of genres and read the room very well to fit the music and vibes. He arrived VERY early to ensure set up for the ceremony and reception would be fluid and without any mistake. Russ showed incredibly professionalism & incredible sincerity. Where I was most impressed is that he hit every cue at the right time, never once did I here “radio talk”, and he was very flexible with song requests. From start to finish he was really about the couple! Trust me when I say you want Ozark Mix to Emcee and DJ your event because Russ is in your corner from start to finish!!
