Ozark Mix

es to their website like he had asked of a couple changes and a couple songs that we wanted added and those were acknowledged. It was one of the only things that I really did not have too much anxiety about going into the wedding. That being said the day of the wedding was extremely disappointing and even infuriating. Thankfully, I had sent him my Spotify playlist that I had been adding songs to for months before the wedding and so the songs that I wanted were played. We did have music during our cocktail hour, and during our dinner that was exactly the vibe that I wanted. However, I started to get worried when we made our grand entrance into the reception, and he mispronounce the names of multiple of my bridesmaids, and the last name of the best man which happens to be the same name as my husband. Then it got worse at first dances. I had specifically told them the song and artist that we wanted our first dance too because it’s a popular song and the song that we wanna played was not the original artist. They played the wrong one. I brushed it off because it was our wedding and it was still the song at least that I wanted maybe not the version but It’s OK. Then he did not cut off the Daddy daughter dance, where I wanted it too so it was super awkward for everyone involved. We also did a generation dance after the first dances. I made sure that the coordinator and he understood how his song worked. And immediately he started it wrong. So we had a friend and see it for us. We later played the shoe game, which it became apparent. He also had no idea what he was doing for that. So we had the same friend MC. Quality and lighting of the equipment was fantastic. However, I was very disappointed with how the DJ himself performed. It would have been better if we had just rented equipment and had our friend MC for us.

ng with them, and so do I. Highly recommend them for anyone getting married!

d us make it happen and everyone had a blast! Even with venue mishaps and schedule changes, Russ was an absolute pro and kept everything moving. Highly recommend!

ite songs!!

st and the music kept everyone dancing from the very second. Russ with Ozark Mix was so attentive and quick to answer any of our questions beforehand. Would 100% recommend them to others!

ommunication leading up to, the light set up, and the actual wedding day/reception, Ozark Mix can’t be beat. We’ve had so many people from varying age groups tell us in the last couple weeks how “that was the best DJ we’ve ever heard” and how fun the party was. We are so thankful and highly recommend them!

lar preferences/ wishes about how we wanted not only our ceremony to flow, but also about how we wanted our reception to feel. The DJ set up was seamless and beautiful. It didn’t distract from the overall aesthetic of the wedding and he created a set that truly made us want to just keep dancing. Jonathan knew exactly how to MC and there wasn’t a single awkward moment. The DJs at OzarkMix truly understand how to throw a party and I cannot recommend them enough. We feel like we truly got the best.

next events.

t! We had the best night and he's a major part of the reason that it will be a night to remember for the rest of our lives. So thankful that we chose them for our special day!!!

d the information provided to us and asked of us was extremely detailed and thought through so we felt very comfortable that we had the right Dj on board. This is the only vendor we had that we immediately paid in full and was very clear about what we wanted and it gave me anxiety the entire day. After providing a very detailed response to our Planner per their request they somehow manage to almost ruin our day. The song my husband walk down the isle to was not the song we requested. My song started way before i got to the entrance of the isle (which could have be instructions provided by the planner) but not what we asked for. We specifically asked if we needed someone to go through our program separately from the Dj and was reassured that that was covered in the services and the Dj would MC and ensure everything went smoothly. Absolutely caosis! We didnt know what was happening when and just moving from one thing to the next as we remembered from the timeline our planner provided. He didn't do a great job at using the microphone and making the announcements. You could barely hear this man. There were folks walking back and forth to the bar while my husband and his mom were having their dance. I would need 5000 words to tell you all the crap that happened that irrated me after being so specific in our requests. We provided a list of songs for cocktail hour and there was NO MUSIC AT ALL, played during our cocktail hour. Mt family and friends had to be giving telling the dj which songs to play after we provided a very detailed list, just to avoid this. I could go on and on but I wouldn't hire them again for anything. All that aside, the sound quality was great and folks still have a great time but effectiveness and smooth operation is a 1/10 for us.

treat other wedding vendors will care and kindness which is very important in making your day smooth and enjoyable. We had the chance to have Christian from Russ’s team who was absolutely amazing! He listened to our needs and wants, curated the songs to fit our special day specifically & treated all of my wedding guests with consideration. He kept the dance floor ALIVE and entertained the reception with his upbeat attitude. He set the tone for the reception and that’s all we ever wanted! The photo booth was a hit and well worth the extra add on. DO IT!!! You won’t regret hiring them & that’s coming from a bride & wedding photographer herself. They’re one heck of a wonderful team.

nd were responsive to our questions throughout the planning process. We also did the photo booth through them with the print outs and the digital copies and it was a big hit for our guests! They were very good about printing an extra copy of the photos for us to keep. We would use them again and recommend them if you are looking for a great DJ!

Everything (from planning up to the wedding day) was handled very professionally and if we had to select a DJ again, 10/10 recommend Ozark Mix! Ozark Mix is truly the best, hands down!
