Pa Kou was an absolute dream to work with. Everyone else's reviews will tell you that she's incredibly talented and super nice, which I will confirm 100%, but I have 2 things to ad...
d: (1) She LISTENS, and (2) she is a bonafide GENIUS. Starting with the makeup trial, Pa Kou was accommodating and kind, and she genuinely cares about you and what you want. She will be one of the most humble and understanding vendors you will have, and that will be a breath of fresh air during your wedding planning.
She never got impatient with my questions and requests, and she listened to all kinds of weird concerns (for example, my eyelids are uneven and we had to try a really weird thing to make them look even, yeah lucky me). She listens, and then she solves the problem by trying whatever it takes - and she knows faces and makeup (hence the genius part), so she WILL accomplish what you need, together. Also, if you want to look like a more beautiful but natural version of yourself on your wedding day, book Pa Kou. She can make you look like you're on a crazy high fashion runway show with sky-high cheekbones if that's what you want, but subtlety is much harder to do than crazy.
On the day of the wedding, Pa Kou and her assistant were calm, collected, efficient, and still so kind and helpful. They were right on schedule and gave everyone touch ups and reassurances. My beautiful makeup and hair lasted all night through kisses and sweating and dancing other gross human things. Anyway, I could keep rambling, but BOOK PA KOU RIGHT NOW. EARLY. She is a wonderful human being and artist, and you won't regret it.
I loved Pa Kou's services. My make-up and hair for my wedding were awesome. I got many complements for the excellent hair and make-up. The make-up was fresh and natural. It lasted ...
all night long. My hair style was intricate and delicate. It complemented my dress and make-up perfectly. It made me look elegant and beautiful. It was all I wanted and more. She has great skills. I was able to communicate with her very fast and she was available when I needed her. She was on time and very reliable. I would definitely recommend Pa Kou. She is great!

I just want to say, Thank you to Pa Kou. She squeezed me in for my trial and waited for me while I was running late from my last fitting. She did an amazing job on the first try. I...
was deeply impressed and booked her right away.
The day before my wedding I had to cancel some of the ladies that wanted there hair and makeup done. Pa Kou showed up a half hour early and started on my mom's makeup. By the time she was done, she started on mine. She worked very quick and did a fantastic job under short period of time. Then three of my brides maids wanted their hair done at the last minute. Even though I was panicking because we were already running late, Pa Kou assured me that she would take care of it no problem. By the time I was done with my photo shoot downstairs, all three ladies were ready to go to the venue. I can't thank her enough for all her hard work and dedication. She truely did an amazing job and was total professional. She put up with all the women talking and the photograhper taking photos and never lost her train of thought. I will recommend her to anyone that I know that is getting married or for special occasions. On top of it all she had very reasonable pricing. Take the time to talk to her and make an appointment. You will not regret it!!!! I can't wait for the next event to use her services again.
Thank you so much Pa Kou and your assistant for doing the styling for me and my Bridal Party! From the moment I inquired about your work, you were so responsive and HUGE on custom...
er service! When you came over to do my trial hair, you hit it on the head with the first style you recommended! Not to mention the lovely, natural looking makeup you put on me. AND - there's more! On the day of the wedding, you not only put me at ease, but put my bridal party at ease. You listened to all of us, and everyone was so satisfied with your work! Thank you again and here's a pic of us satisifed customers here: http://mpalmaphotoblog.com/_MCP4255.jpg
I will totally recommend you to anyone else who is interested in having a talented, warm and friendly stylist to work with for any ocassion! :)
All the best,
Sandy P.
