Shyn was amazing from the beginning. I had to move my wedding up from California to Seattle a month prior to my wedding date. Shyn was so helpful and was so quick to respond. Two weeks prior to the wedding, we discovered we had to move the wedding day up four days. While Shyn wasn't available for my day anymore, she sent Ryann and Alicia out. These two were absolutely amazing. All my bridesmaids were ranting and raving about how fun and amazing they were and made their visions a reality. Ryann did my hair and makeup and she created EXACTLY what I had in mind. I felt like a queen. I could not recommend this team enough. They are 10/10 and I am so thankful for them and the experience I received. Thank you <3

10/10!!! Look no further for a make-up and hair artist. Shyn is amazing and will highlight the beautiful goddess you already are. She is funny and sarcastic, which I think are musts when you are sitting in one place for over 2+ hours getting someone else’s hands all over your hair and face! I had some minor changes after my trial and she listened making me look just how I envisioned on my wedding day! The products she uses are amazing and made my skin so happy. I highly recommend Shyn to anyone looking for an amazing hair and make-up artist!

I worried the hair and/or make up would look like beauty pageant style, but when I explained what I wanted, she executed exactly. Through out the day of taking pictures in rain and wind and the night of tearing, drinking, and dancing, not one single bobby pin was needed to fix the hair or a touch up for the make up was needed. I was reluctant to do the fake lashes because I had a bad experience once where one of my eyes was so uncomfortable and I didn't want my eyes to bother me. I didn't even realize I had the lashes on until the end of the night. Just trust her and let her do her magic!

Where do I even start?? If you don't want to keep reading, just book Shyn right now! Shyn is the most amazing human and HMU artist you will find. Honestly, I knew I was going to book her right after reading her first email...booking her was one of the easiest decisions I made in the planning process. We were eloping in Olympic National Park and I knew I wanted to find a reliable HMU artist who could meet me at the location where I was getting ready. Shyn provided a quote that left no question unanswered - literally all items including travel, trial runs, etc are included in her price guide. She's trustworthy in so many other ways too. I would reach out periodically with questions not related to HMU and she was like a support system. Without her I wouldn't have found my florist! Leading up to the wedding I found I needed to make some changes (added a trial run, and my friend/officiant wanted her hair done too). Adding those to the agreement and invoice was super easy and quick. On our wedding day Shyn came to our airbnb, arrived on time and made sure we stayed on schedule. Her organization and professionalism are not the only reasons to book her. She will feel like a long time friend the instant you meet her. Time spent getting ready went by too quickly because she's so fun to be around. Also, that kit she provides to take with you is a lifesaver, just like she is! Ok seriously stop what you're doing and go book Shyn now. PS. she also has a service where she'll go with you to your actual locations, do touch ups, etc - if I were to go back and do everything over again I'd do this for sure! And don't forget to read her blogs, they're fun and informative!

Shyn was absolutely amazing to work with. We worked together for my engagement photos and my wedding, and everything ended up looking stunning. My hair is super fine and can't hold curls or a lot of shape, and I was upset that I wouldn't be able to do anything cute with it. Shyn took my fears and absolutely crushed them. I ended up with a super cute braid, and my guests telling me that I looked like a princess. 10/10 would book again! Thank you so much Shyn for making me feel like a bride. :)

I absolutely loved getting my hair & makeup styled by Shyn on my wedding day! She worked brilliantly well with me in the weeks leading up to the wedding as I pinpointed my look and felt overwhelmed by my options. She was able to key in with precision on the look I was envisioning, and was not only professional but a blast to be with! I literally can’t even begin to describe how much more relaxed of a bride I was due to knowing Shyn was going to make me look flawless on the morning of my wedding and OH MY GOD she did, she did, she did! I have never gotten my hair or makeup done by anyone ever (in my 29 and a half years of existence) and liked it UNTIL Shyn. She spent much of the getting ready time making my skin feel smooth as butter and ensuring that my skin care was on pointe in effort to insure long-lasting makeup application. I danced my ass off my wedding night and yet my hair and makeup stayed gorgeous and intact. I’ll save you hours or research, emailing and head-aching with any other artist out there. So many bail and asking a friend is rarely, if ever, a smart option. It just isn’t! So I highly recommend you treat yourself and book Shyn. Immediately. Trust me, you’ll be doing yourself a HUGE BRIDAL FAVOR!

My biggest worry in all this wedding planning was my hair I have incredible baby fine hair and an average amount of it so it barely holds in a small hair tie. And Shyn made my hair look so full and beautiful. She is an absolute professional, she listened to my concerns and was a very honest sounding board for styles and ideas.

Shyn is a beauty powerhouse. She pulled off fantastic hair and makeup on me without having done a trial run and I had absolute faith in her skills which she flawlessly performed for both myself, my bestie, and mom. Just guide her with your preferred vibes and she'll get it done, I felt so great! She's also a really cool person! You will be in excellent, super talented hands with her!

Shyn did an AMAZING job on my hair and makeup for my wedding. We had a rock-and-roll theme, and she knew exactly what we were going for and had lots of great ideas. I loved that she asked me first for some pictures and ideas, and then we talked about what would work best. Shyn did my bridemaids' hair, too, and gave them these adorable pin-up styles that everyone complimented them on. She was easy to communicate with and really listened to what I liked and didn't like. She was also super fun to work with!

Shyn is fully AWESOME, and a blast to hang out with! She helped me pick the perfect style for my hair and makeup and I felt absolutely beautiful and still like myself (which is usually makeup free) the day of the wedding. She went above and beyond my expectations, and all of my ladies felt beautiful and natural. I can't recommend Shyn enough!!

Shyn was amazing! Super easy and fun to talk to and did an amazing job on my wedding hair! She took a very vague idea ( I had a lot of different looks compiled) and turned it into something amazing. She was quick and flexible with my wedding day schedule!

My previous hair and makeup artist was unable to accommodate me when when our wedding date unexpectedly changed. Thank goodness, Shyn saved the day! She is absolutely hilarious, talented, laid back, and professional. She was the perfect balance I needed while getting ready for my big day. Even my husband enjoyed the conversation. I normally don't wear makeup but Shyn helped me pick the perfect style and it lasted through A LOT of crying. The products she uses are good quality and didn't cause my sensitive skin to breakout. My hair was perfect for my dress and it stayed all night. I got so many compliments and I both felt and looked beautiful on my wedding day. With Shyn, you not only get your hair and makeup done but you also get someone who can make you laugh and chill out before one of the biggest events of your life. She's an all around awesome person and I will be recommending her to all my friends.

Shyn was the bomb!!!! She really LISTENED to what I wanted to look like and made that vision come to life. She did all of my bridesmaids (6) and Jr bridesmaids (3) including a flower girl and MOG. She coordinated with all her assistants and made each girl look gorgeous!!! I contact her constantly throughout the whole process and she responded quickly and was very accommodating. I thought she was nothing but professional and very respectful to everyone. She made me feel at ease and reminded me of what the day was all about!

Pacific Brides did a good job overall. Honestly, there were a few hiccups and challenges working with the artist. The positives: Shyn is very knowledgeable, uses great products, and executes techniques well. The challenges: scheduling and communication was frustrating and didn't always feel professional, Shyn was late the day of the wedding, and while I loved my hair and makeup, my bridesmaids didn't feel the same about their looks. Overall, the experience was fine, but for the amount of money required for services, I did expect more.

Shyn and her assistant did all the hair and makeup for my whole bridal party and my mom. Did I say that is 10 people total! And everyone looked great! I couldn't have been happier!

Shyn did a fantastic job on my bridesmaids and I. I've never felt so pretty! She did the works-false eyelashes and airbrush foundation. I thought I might look like a distorted version of myself, but she didn't make me look overdone or like I had stage makeup on. Even though my groom is obligated to say I'm the prettiest bride he's ever seen- I'm inclined to believe him! Her services were more affordable than anyone in my town, and she was willing to travel for a nominal fee. My only tip would be to keep conservative family members away, as her tattoos, pink hair, and language were a bit shocking for mine.
