I would not have made it through without Alyssa! I am not a planner by nature, and am definitely more of the “go with the flow” type. I was so worried that our big day was going to be a mess because neither of us had any idea what we were doing, but thought we could manage. I am so happy I decided to move forward with Alyssa! She was there every step of the way and orchestrated our day seamlessly. She coordinated every aspect of our wedding, and we had many: Three food trucks, a DJ, a guitar player, a bar camper, a photo van, furniture rental and donut truck!
We also did things that weren’t as conventional: our processional (and last minute add ins to the wedding party), no formal picture time and a champagne toast during cocktail hour. Alyssa was open to every idea and figured out how to include it in a way that it would flow and ensured that it would be our best day; but also be an expression of who we were together, it was important to us to enjoy our day and be comfortable! She made what was in my head come to life. We didn’t have to worry about a thing and were able to enjoy our visiting family and friends the few weeks leading up to the wedding.
I would highly recommend her just based on all of the above alone, but then there was this moment where I know I would have fallen to pieces without her. It was right before I was about to walk down the aisle, I could here our guitar player start to play my song, it was my cue! I was frozen there behind the wall divider and suddenly couldn’t breathe. All of this emotion just came rushing to me at once and I thought I may not be able to hold it together and pass out right there. Alyssa was right beside me, she took my hand, wiped my tears and said “hey, everything is perfect, you look beautiful and you are marrying your best friend today. Now don’t forget to smile.” I can’t express how much that moment meant to me. Thank you so much Alyssa, for everything.
Alyssa was INCREDIBLE in the months leading up to our wedding, and coordinating the entire weekend of. She took every curve ball we threw at her in stride, and was such a joy to work with. Flexible, kind, utterly professional, enthusiastic, and super fun to boot! My husband and I didn't have a single care in the world on the day of our wedding, thanks to Alyssa and Erika's professionalism and creativity. Our wedding weekend absolutely would NOT have gone off so well without Alyssa's help, and we cannot thank her enough.
We were absolutely blessed to work with Alyssa as our Wedding coordinator/Day of Planner. She gave us such peace of mind working through all the details and kept us on schedule while still reminding us to cherish and enjoy the process.
I was fortunate to meet Alyssa at a wedding benefit that she was graciously participating at as an auctioned service - we talked briefly and I had a great feeling about working with her. We bid on her services and won the opportunity to have her manage all the little details and coordination the day of the wedding to relieve some of the inevitable stress that is sure to pop up. We quickly realized the incredible value of having Alyssa on our side starting with our first meeting. Although her services were donated and she didn’t make a large profit from our wedding Alyssa gave us 110%.
It should be noted that Pacific Engagements is so much more than a day of coordinator. Alyssa also worked with all of our other vendors to narrow down a realistic timeline and came up with every small and big detail that we may have missed in the planning process.
Alyssa had tools and checklists to remind us of important deadlines and she was great about communicating with us and being so accommodating of our crazy schedules.
We had a few hiccups during the reception and Alyssa was quick to dissolve all conflict and so in-tune with how I was feeling. She was great to help with unexpected issues and was so sweet to check on me and give me peace of mind.
My husband and I have heard from so many guests that they were so impressed with her and her team. Even my maid of honor asked for her contact!! I could go on and on but if you are considering hiring a Day of Coordinator, contact Pacific Engagements!!
Alyssa is simply amazing. She not only takes care of her clients but also her vendors. Her energy is contagious and uplifting. She brings such enthusiasm and joy to her work that it makes working with her such a pleasant experience. She’s open to trying new things and isn’t afraid to go the extra mile to make her clients happy. As a photographer it’s important that the planner take the interests of the photographer into account when planning their client’s nuptials. Alyssa always made sure I had enough time and was so kind to make sure that my photography needs were met. She is always on top of everything from the timeline to the smallest of details. I would ,highly recommend her if you are looking for a professional wedding planner.
Alyssa is so wonderful to collaborate with. She brings amazing ideas, wonderful sketches, and attention to the little details as well. Every time I've worked with her she has had a smile and a big welcome for me. She is very active in the local Rising Tide ( a community of local wedding vendors and creatives). We are very lucky to have her, she does a great job planning and getting members active in events. She is so very thoughtful and inclusive.
