graphy but the vibe and feel of their approach: helping adventurous introverts capture a day that feels intimate, special and authentic. We really wanted to do something nontraditional — a private elopement in Big Sur — and Lisa and TJ truly helped us bring our vision to life, exceeding every expectation we had.
From the beginning, they were incredibly communicative and professional. Our scheduled video chats felt like Facetiming a friend. :) They used a detailed, thoughtful questionnaire to get to know us. From here, they essentially doubled as wedding planners! They literally helped us plan out our entire day from start to finish, taking so much of the anxiety out of that part of the process for us.
We chose to split our session between the morning and evening, and loved that we had this option. It gave us wonderful, quiet hours in the afternoon to just be together on our wedding day, and resulted in an incredible variety of photos.
I feel it's important to highlight how unbelievably comfortable my wife and I felt working with Lisa and TJ. We aren't super comfortable or experienced in front of a camera, and we definitely had some reservations and anxiety about what to expect. Lisa and TJ made us feel 100% comfortable to be ourselves and enjoy the moment. We truly felt so present, joyful and peaceful throughout our day as a result.
TJ was our officiant and did an AMAZING job! We provided a ceremony script and he absolutely nailed it. He also allowed us space to exchange our vows privately, which we so appreciated.
The photos themselves truly leave us speechless. We are FLOORED by how beautiful they are; everyone in our lives has called them "out of a magazine" and "from a storybook." We feel so blessed to have these priceless keepsakes. We will truly cherish them forever and are brought right back to our special day when we look at them.

Lisa and Simon were very organized and helped us plan the elopement of our dreams in under 6 weeks! They FaceTimed us multiple times and helped curate our day from start to finish....
The video chats also made it feel like we already knew them when we met on our wedding day. A couple weeks before our trip to San Diego, they sent us a timeline/itinerary of our elopement, and on the day, all we had to do was show up ready for the ceremony and photos and they took it from there. Both of them made us feel natural and at ease while taking photos. Lisa was exceptionally good at giving us prompts and giving us direction, and the drone shots by Simon captured a beautiful pacific coast landscape that we wouldn't have gotten anywhere else. In three hours, we visited three different locations around the La Jolla area (all within 10 mins of each other), and were able to get a wide variety of shots and different backgrounds, which I loved.

ng but positive things to say about Lisa and Simon. They were organized and friendly leading up to our engagement and engagement shoot. They gave recommendations for sites, times, outfits and answered every question I had! Both Lisa and Simon made time to have multiple FaceTime calls with me. This was all leading up to our big day. On that day they went above and beyond in every way. They helped guide us through pictures, gave us space to celebrate our moment and celebrated our love in such a beautiful way.
They prepared hot chocolate for us and took us to multiple locations. They even encouraged and celebrated our want for fun water pictures.
After the shoot both Lisa and Simon spent time eating with us and getting to know us both. They are the kindest humans and truly genuine. They made us both feel comfortable and did things above and beyond to make sure they captured our special moments.
We also received our sneak peaks and I almost fell off my chair. They captured the most incredible pictures. Beyond being kind and organized they are incredibly talented. I can’t stop looking at the photos and can’t wait to see the rest of the pictures.

When my husband and I started talking about an elopement/micro-wedding on the CA coast, we both immediately fell in love with the idea of it being cliff side with waves crashing in the background. Lisa & Simon helped locate the perfect spots based on what we wanted, both for our morning solo adventure and for the actual ceremony. They helped us get a permit for the ceremony location and showed up early to ensure the spot was perfect. We had tons of video calls to get to know each other and so they could understand what was important to us and what we wanted from our day. They were flexible with our timing changes as we went and even made suggestions to help the timeline.
Above all, the pictures and drone footage they got are incomprehensible. Lisa worked with us on poses and positioning that felt natural and the photos clearly show it. They don’t look forced or overly posed, we look like us, just with incredible backgrounds. We never felt silly or like we weren’t doing it right, they made sure our comfort was all that mattered.

They were so accommodating on our wedding day, and they really made our wedding day everything we had hoped it would be and so much more with special touches!
Not to mention the pictures were absolutely breathtaking and captured our day perfectly. They had the sneak peeks ready for us just a few days after the wedding and all of our pictures ready just two weeks later as promised.

sonal levels. I have never been shot by anyone but my friend so I was anxious at first, but my worries immediately vanished when we started working with Liza. She was helping us a lot, because my husband is a very awkward model, too, but when we saw the result of her work, we realized we weren't posing at all. All the pictures looked very lively and that was essentially what we were looking for.
Eventually we became really good friends with Liza and Simon, which I guess wasn't really a part of our package deal :D Human connection is priceless <3
On our wedding day, our friends/ photographers did an unprecedented job. Not only did they take the most terrific pictures of us and our new family, but they also helped us manage the stress of this wonderful yet hectic day. Also, a piece of wisdom Liza shared with me for all the brides out there who are having a big wedding: do your first look before the ceremony! I was dreaming of my husband seeing me the first time in my wedding dress at the altar, but Liza told me that this is the sacred moment that better be captured privately. I gave in and never regretted it once. His reaction on our pictures turned out to be so touching and sweet, we both cried.
The day was going by so fast, we were having so much fun, and at some point Liza pulled me over saying that the sun is setting in the mountains so beautifully, that we have to take a picture. We didn't really want to stop dancing :D but now I'm really grateful that we did it, because it was indeed a breathtaking view of our beautiful Utahn scenery.
To sum it up, I just want to say that it took me a while to write this review, meaning that Liza and Simon made a huge step forward after our wedding and they just keep getting better and better, so if you're reading this thinking whether you should book them or not, I'm sure I've made it easier for you :)

e moment Liza arrived she made sure we were comfortable with both her and our environment. I was blown away by the number of ideas she had for photos! Extremely creative and FUN.
