Ashley was incredible, honestly could not have asked for a better photographer. She was sweet and kind throughout the entire process and assisted in anyway she could. I knew that the photographer for my granddaughter’s wedding was going to be very challenged with the expectations from this perfectionist bride. I interviewed several photographers, but I decided to go with a recommendation from another bride I know, who is also very particular. Ashley is the most amazing photographer with the kindest heart! I found her back in 2016 through a recommendation and she became my wedding photographer. We did a package that included engagement photos, bridal portraits, and wedding day pictures. Since then, I have found myself always coming back to Ashley! I have used her for newborn photos, family photos, and planning to do fall photos this year. Ashley takes beautiful photos and edits them so naturally by keeping the integrity of the original picture and giving you a clean, airbrushed look. I have loved using her for multiple shoots because I feel like the photos displayed in my home have a cohesive look even though they are from many different sessions throughout the years. Also, I personally do not love taking pictures but Ashley is so genuine and makes you feel totally comfortable which I very much appreciate! I highly recommend her as your photographer for all phases and adventures in life!

Simply the best! Seriously, we looked at several photographers, but just simply based on talent, we could tell there was something special about Ashley's photography. She has an artistic eye that separates her from the competition, and you can see that in her photography. We booked our first call with Ashley to touch base, and we didn't even have to talk to anyone else, because we knew she was perfect. From her personality, how easy and fun it was to work with her, how fast she delivered the photos, and of course her truly amazing photography skills, I would not take away anything from her. Hiring Ashley for both our engagements and wedding was one of the best decisions we made! Not only are the pictures everything I could have hoped for, but working with Ashley was so lovely. She has a way of making you feel at home even if you are not naturally comfortable in front of the camera. Having her in the bridal suite felt like having just another friend in the room, and she was equally great with our families and guests. My biggest must-have photo involved wrangling our two dogs (one is a puppy), and she still managed to get the sweetest pictures. Ashley is a superstar.

My husband and I absolutely LOVED working with Ashley! I was always able to reach her if I had any questions and she was able to accommodate my work schedule for our in person meetings, which meant so so much to me. Ashley was a sense of calm in a very chaotic day! I had my heart set on getting married outside by the water for YEARS. Well the weather decided to throw us a little curveball the day of (Only 3 inches or so of rain..) but Ashley did not miss a beat and was one of the few vendors that did not try to talk me out of my original plan. She knew how much it meant to me and was willing to do whatever she needed to make sure I got that dream. She captured so much love, laughter, and all of our personalities. I can't wait to work with her in the future.

Besides your spouse, your photographer should be your BIGGEST FAN during your wedding and Ashley was nothing short of exactly that—MY TRUE #1 FAN! My husband met Ashley at a wedding he was in back in 2016 where Ashley and her team were the photographers. Coupled with my husbands raving comments about those wedding photos and the glowing recommendation we received from that bride towards Ashley, we knew Painted Peacock Photography would be the one for us when our time came. Ashley did our engagements, my Bridals, my Boudoir shoot and of course our wedding day! The entirety of every session with Ashley was filled with so much fun, laughs, great conversation and BEAUTIFUL PHOTOS returned to me each and every time. There were never any times where I felt she didn’t capture something I wanted but there were PLENTY of times where she captured all the things I had no idea I needed. Ashley is not only amazing at photographing perfect moments but also an amazing person who truly cares that YOU are happy, relaxed and most importantly that you are having fun. Amongst many incredible times with Ashley, I have two that I feel are the most memorable ones—One being a time where her photography skills just totally blew me away and the second where her heart just bursted with compassion and kindness. During our engagement session, which was the first photo session we had with her, I remember saying these words, “Ashley, try not to get much of my full side profile. I don’t like my pointy nose.” Side note: One of these photos during our engagement session would end up being our Save The Date. Fast forward maybe two weeks later, we got our photos back. Ashley absolutely listened to me when I saw that 75% of the photos were NOT side profile and it was so difficult to even choose a favorite because ALL were that good. Though the truly incredible part was that this one photo was one that I absolutely could not take my eyes off of and I knew with certainty that it was THE ONE for the Save The Date.... & guess what, it was a full on side profile shot of my husband and I looking at each other. I’m a full believer that Ashley can take anyone’s biggest insecurities and turn them into their biggest beauties with her creativeness and the confidence she portrays towards her work (meaning she knows what you’re going to love before you know what you even love). Fast forward again to Bridal Portrait day—Photos were set to begin right before sunset and it’s mid day as I’m getting ready at my venue. A minor inconvenience happened with one of my styling vendors and bridal stress mode kicked in. I remember calling Ashley in tears because my bridesmaids were working and my family was not able to be there that day and I just needed someone to talk to. She not only calmed me down like one of your lifelong best friends would but also dropped everything and headed my way just to get there early and hang out with me while hair and makeup finished up. That to me is so much more than a photographer, that is just a down right compassionate human being that I’m so blessed to call one of our dearest family friends now. To Ashley: You better get ready sister friend for all those cute Eberhart newborns and future family portraits! You are our lifelong friend and photographer and we cannot thank God enough for bringing you into our lives for not only our wedding day but all future big highlight moments in our life to come. I cannot speak highly enough about Ashley as our wedding photographer! I adored working with her and our pictures are beautiful!!! Ashley is so bubbly, fun to work with, and talented. We got married 4/21/18 and I couldn’t wait to leave a review about Ashley because she is the BEST photographer and most genuine/sweetest person ever. From the second I talked with her about our wedding date almost a year ago, I knew it would be the perfect match. She is so kind and passionate about what she does, and also very professional. We did our engagement pictures on a hot summer day but it did not bother her one bit and our pictures were perfect. She showed up to the big day with a huge smile that was contagious. When she got to the venue, she went straight to taking pictures and floated around so well. I know our pictures are going to be amazing. She cares deeply about each person she works with and I would highly recommend her for any brides still deciding on a wedding photographer. I knows who is top of our list for future family pictures!

Photography was the second thing we booked, and after hearing stories from other brides and their bad experiences, I was extremely timid. After reaching out to a few different photographers, I knew that Ashley was the perfect person I wanted to capture our big day. From the very beginning she focused on what we wanted and captured everything perfectly. Communication was always easy, and she's also the sweetest person in the world! Ashley was wonderful! I loved that when we first reached out to her, she told me about her, and wanted to get to know each other a bit to make sure we were a good fit for each other! She really wanted our wedding day to be prefect for us. Not only that, but about half an hour before our ceremony was meant to begin there was an accident outside the venue where a car ran into the power lines. Ashley jumped in to help us solve the problem of no power in the church, and was so prepared and calm that really helped everyone else figure out what needed to be done. She was a joy to have around, and made my husband and I both feel very comfortable.

Ashley was absolutely the best decision we made in Wedding planning! She is not only so completely talented and takes beautiful photos, but she is the most genuine person. Ashley was my absolute favorite vendor I had for my wedding! My initial phone call I had with her before booking, I knew that she would be my photographer. She made me feel so comfortable and confident in her abilities to capture beautiful photos. We did engagements where both my husband and I were comfortable. Ashley is the best vendor I decided on! My venue had a photographer included, but I just didn't feel like I would be happy with my photos if I went with them. I had a meeting with the other photography company and they were 30 minutes late and just didn't make me feel like I was individually important. So, four months before my wedding, I reached out to Ashley after falling in love with her work and expressed my concern about the other photography company and she was so awesome to talk to. Our initial conversation completely made me comfortable with her shooting our big day. I was able to meet with her and discuss an outline of our day and tell her all the moments that were most important to me. She continued to follow up with me to see if I needed anything or if there were any changes, which definitely helped since I had bride brain and had so much to keep up with. We met at our venue, so she could get a feel for the place before the big day and scope out different areas for awesome shots. When our big day finally arrived, I felt so assured that I made the best decision in picking her as my photographer. She has such an eye for detail, and caught moments that I will be able to cherish forever. She seamlessly went from us all getting ready (guys and girls), to "first touch" photos, to the ceremony, to our family photos, to bride and groom photos, to reception photos, to the final exit photos. She caught all of these moments PLUS even ones I wouldn't think of. My husband and I were so excited to get our photos from her and when we did, we were so happy that we trusted her with our wedding day. Not only did she send all our photos to us, she also followed up with me to see if I had any photos I wanted changed. She's not the type of photographer that is done working with you once your photos are sent, she is always there if you ever need her. I can't say enough about how much we love Ashley. ABSOLUTE MUST! By far the best decision I made for my wedding. Ashley traveled for our wedding in November 2016. She is so easy to work with and honestly a breath of fresh air in all the craziness with a wedding. I met Ashley almost a year before our wedding and did my engagement and bridal pictures with her. Every time I worked with Ashley she understood exactly what I wanted and her pictures delivered! I trusted her and never had to worry about her not following through with what she promised. For the wedding, she kept me calm and was more than I could have ever asked for in a photographer. I never had to worry about if she was getting a good photo or paying attention to the moment. I was big on capturing the emotion and Ashley did exactly that. They say a picture is worth a thousand words....but Ashley's are worth several thousand words. There is probably not enough space to write the endless list of great things to say about Ashley and Painted Peacock Photography. Ashley was referred to us by Events By Sarah and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience! From the first phone call and coffee date, I hired Ashley immediately and never looked back. Our wedding was in North Texas and my (now) husband and I were planning our wedding from out of state, Ashely being located in Houston was never an issue! She made us always feel like she was right next door, answering questions whenever we had them, helping out with outfit ideas, locations for shoots, and always being flexible with our schedule and the limited time we were in Texas. Ashley did everything - engagements, boudoir, bridals, and the wedding and is more than a vendor to us now, she’s a friend! We hired both photographers for our wedding, and while we had never met Clay until the day of, he clicked with the guys immediately and Brian and his boys had a great, painless time, with all of the pictures. One of the best things we loved about Ashley is her easy-going shooting style (she’s everywhere!) and the fact that she knew us almost instantly! She captures the best out of individuals and couples making for a truly unique experience and end result in the photographs. During our honeymoon my dad was sad our dance went by so quickly and didn’t think we had any pictures of it, when I needed to show my dad that we had pictures of our first dance I texted Ashely during our honeymoon and within seconds I had a preview that I could send my emotional father, that is just a glimpse of the incredible customer service and dedication that Ashely provides her clients. Ashley photographed my wedding at the bell tower on 34th St on July 2, 2016. She is truly the best out there and incredibly friendly. She's so much fun to work with!! I can't wait until I start having children to use her with my baby pictures. She needs an award for the best photographer in the world. I met with so many different photographers and I just knew when I saw her photos and talked to her that she was the one that would photograph one of the most important days of my life. Ashley photographed my wedding on May 28th, 2016 at Chateau Cocomar. Choosing the right photographer was very high on my list of “must haves” during the wedding planning and I could not have been more blessed to have found The Painted Peacock Photography! I wanted someone who could take breathtaking images and capture every minute of such a momentous day for my husband and me, but I ended up getting so much more than I could have possibly hoped. Ashley’s photography work is not only amazing but her professionalism and sweet character are out of this world! The same day that I first sent her an email inquiring about her availability for my wedding date she followed up with a phone call to get to know me a little better and see if we were a good match for each other. This made such an impression with me because I knew she didn’t just snap photos at weddings but that she builds a relationship with her clients and truly cares about them and their special day. A month before the wedding she met with me to get an even better feel for who Ian and I were and let me know how her day of process goes so that I felt comfortable and informed. Ashley also took my bridal portraits and thanks to Texas weather I was very stressed about them because the date kept getting pushed back and it was difficult to get my venue and hair and make-up vendors rescheduled at a time that worked for everyone. I texted Ashley one night a week and a half before my wedding about my bridal portraits and after she found out how much of a tangle I was in trying to get everything in line to get the photos done she immediately called me. She let me know that she was going to be at my bridal portraits no matter when I scheduled them for. This was the nicest thing that any vendor did for me during my entire wedding planning process. I was able to round up everyone else and knew that Ashley would be there for me no matter. We got my photos done the week before my wedding and they were stunning! To top It off Ashley edited every photo that night and got them back to me the next afternoon so that I could order a portrait to be displayed at the wedding. On the day of the wedding she was everywhere and always with me all at once. I couldn’t believe how many detail shots she snapped because it seemed like she was always right next to me capturing the moment. Ashley was also my saving grace to keep me sane and calm during the day. I remember at one point my dad, who is notorious for saying the darndest things and stirring things up, came into the bridal suite to announce that it was too hot to take pictures outside. I was running late with makeup and I couldn’t handle the “dad rant” at that moment and I just looked at Ashley and she said “I got this” and sweet talked him out of the room. This was just one of the many times that she helped me with my sanity throughout the day. She rounded up everyone for group shots quickly and although each shot seemed so fast, every photo turned out beautiful! All of my family and friends mentioned at some point how bubbly and nice she was and also how efficient! Ashley has such an eye for the beauty and true meaning at weddings and her ability to reflect that in her photos is a gift. I am so thankful for Ashley and I would absolutely recommend The Painted Peacock Photography to anyone that wants a truly gifted photographer and new friend that will enjoy your day just as much as you!
