een laid off and could no longer afford to help my then fiancé and I pay for the venue. Lucy from Palacio Maria messaged me and told me she had my date available and offered to have me come for a tour. I was honest with Lucy and told her about the situation we were in financially, but she still offered to help! My mom and I went to our Palacio Maria within a few days of Lucy’s message and we were pleasantly surprised with the beauty of the facility and with all that Palacio Maria had to offer. My mom stepped in and offered to cover some of the costs, so we signed a contract that very same day and worked out a payment arrangement that worked for everyone involved. We were so grateful to have a venue that offered more than our original venue for a slightly higher price point, but I know now that the other venue cancelling was honestly a blessing in disguise! Lucy was so great throughout everything from the booking to the design meeting and food tasting to the day of coordination. Palacio Maria has table linens in every color imaginable, not to mention their options for place settings and center pieces! This venue truly HAS IT ALL and is a hidden gem in my opinion! The facility adhered to specific guidelines set out by the CDC as far as the number of seats at the tables, the tables were properly distanced, and all the staff wore masks throughout the entire event. When I dropped off our personalized items at the venue the day before our wedding, I was floored at how beautiful the space looked! I had no idea about some of the extra things that were going to be added to the space, everything was just so beautiful and looked SUPER expensive, yet there was no additional cost! We had our ceremony at the gazebo in their garden area behind the building and I brought pumpkins to be added to the outdoor space, I absolutely LOVED how they incorporated the pumpkins into the décor! Lucy and her team kept everything moving all night, the hall was always clean, glasses filled, and they treated my husband and I like royalty! I always had a goal on my wedding day, I didn’t want anyone in my family to have to worry about anything, I wanted to have them to be able to sit back and enjoy the day, because of Lucy and her staff at Palacio Maria, they were able to do just that! At the end of the night, Lucy and her team packed up all our gifts and personalized items and made sure they were put in our car. We were even sent home with all the left over veggies and chips from the queso fountain. Some items ended up getting lost or left behind which we did not realize until the next day. Lucy was able to locate all the items and set them aside for us to pick up once we returned from our honeymoon. I can’t tell you the number of times I reached out to Lucy via call or text over the past 6 months, she was always very prompt to respond and so understanding when I had questions or concerns.
