The cake tasting box was huge and had so many options to choose from. We went with the cannoli cream and everyone loved it! Leighann was so helpful in getting everything ordered and the team even created a small cake for our family with allergies.

We chose a four-tier cake with two flavors—mango mousse and cookies & cream—and it was a huge hit. Not only was the cake beautifully designed and exactly what we envisioned, but it also tasted incredible. It’s rare to find a bakery that nails both presentation and flavor so perfectly, and Palermo truly delivered on both.
Our guests couldn’t stop talking about how delicious it was (we even had people going back for seconds even though we offered other dessert options, too!). Everything was executed flawlessly, and it was one of the standout elements of our wedding.

We worked with Olga on upgrading our cake with a custom design (for which we thought the pricing was reasonable) - she was super communicative and receptive to our feedback. The finished product was a HIT - the design was so elegant and tasteful and the texture/flavor of the cake on the wedding day was just as good as when we first tasted the samples. Can't wait to dig into the layer we saved for our 1-year anniversary!!

“Designing” the wedding cake also left more to be desired. Our cake was included with our venue cost so we could choose from 10 or so designs. None of them are grand or special, but also not bad. Just very plain and simple. There was also never a real person that I spoke with. You submit a form with your choices and that’s it. I even had to email and confirm. You would think it makes planning simpler, but honestly it stressed me a little bit not having someone’s word that exactly what we wanted would be delivered.
All of that being said, our wedding cake was delicious. It was exactly like the design we picked and was exactly where it needed to be right on time.
I will say this- not sure if this is the venues fault or the bakery but we did actually run out of wedding cake. This was really surprising because we had a lot of guests that couldn’t make it last minute due to covid so there should have even been a lot extra if they had cut it correctly.
