I reached out to Kellie after spending multiple months struggling with several other local bakeries who did not understand what we needed for our October 2023 wedding. From the first email, Kellie was so good with communication; clearly laying out her process and pricing. She was also insanely responsive and genuinely kind. After dealing with a lot of tough vendor situations, she reinvigorated my excitement about the big day! We asked her for a dessert bar without a cake and it was absolutely a hit (the pictures honestly don't even do it justice). Every single item was not only super yummy but beautifully constructed and everyone got to have a little taste of everything. Honestly, you want someone skilled (which she is!) but you cannot put a price on a vendor who is punctual, thorough and kind. It takes all the stress off; knowing you can trust the experts and Kellie is definitely an expert!

Kellie was such an amazing vendor to work with for our wedding day! She was super communicative and made the planning and design process a breeze! She completely understood the vision we were going for, and was great with taking our inspo to create something truly one of a kind. The final cake was nothing short of a work of art, all our guests were amazed and safe to say there was not a single piece of cake left over! We also did a dessert bar, which was a total hit as well. Our baby girl got married this past Saturday and it was magical!! All of the vendors were fantastic and I can highly recommend each and every one. First off, Palette Cakes Kellie took the vision and pinterest board inspirations and brought them to life! She and her husband are wonderful to work with and I'm so excited for their brick and mortar store opening soon!! I reached out to Kellie to make my reception cake for my April 2023 wedding and she did not disappoint! Everything from the consultations to drawing up the cake to seeing the finished product, Kellie is as professional as it gets! As a bride, booking vendors can be a bit nerve racking, but Kellie literally made it a stress free process. She is super friendly, talented, and delivered exactly what I was looking for. We had gotten the Cream Cheese Rasberry with Lemon Flavor Cake. It was delicious and the guests were definitely going back for seconds! Honestly super happy that I found her on Instagram and was able to have her apart of my big day!

The most beautiful piece of art + delicacy. Our guests are still raving about the cake. Our one-of-a-kind cake came together seamlessly. We simply told Kellie what we envisioned and she took it from there. Our flavors were chocolate cake with honey roasted peanut and lemon cake with blueberry cream cheese filling. We'll definitely be in touch to order a one-year anniversary cake. We also cannot wait for Palette Cakes bakery storefront to open soon!

Kellie was a pleasure to work with! The cake was absolutely beautiful. Her desserts were also a huge hit with all of the guests! Everyone had the best things to say about everything. The tiramisu cups were definitely my favorite! I can’t wait to work with her again for future events.

There wasn’t much my husband and I had on our “must-have” list for the wedding, but my sweet tooth dictated that we had to have the most stunning cake and dessert table anyone had ever seen (and tasted)! We fell in love with the idea of sugar flowers and intricate but subtle detailing for our cake, and looked high and low for an artist that could deliver. We found Kellie and could not have been more tickled with how it turned out! Kellie immediately understood our vision and even supported a special flavor request for us (banana cake)! The masterpiece that Kellie created left us and our guests stunned! Kellie not only delivered the biggest, fluffiest, most elegant sugar flowers, but she crafted the most delicate appliqué detailing and hand painted a subtle blush marbling with gold accents across the entire cake. This cake was STUNNING! And it doesn’t stop there…we also wanted custom cookies and not only did Kellie painstakingly apply the same marbling and gold detailing to countless cookies, but she also had a custom stamp made to create this elegant embossing effect with our names (which she then gifted us on our wedding day). We also ordered several of Kellie’s homemade pastries and cookies (including my favorite - frosted oatmeal). And not only was everything beautiful, but it was also DELICIOUS! We had several guests tell us the cake was one of the best they ever had. EVER! And the cookies and pastries? Not a crumb left in the house. Kellie is the sweetest, kindest, and most talented chef. Whether you have a specific vision in mind or just know you want a beautiful cake, you cannot go wrong with Palette Cakes. Wonderful desserts and sweets by Kellie. All desserts were consumed by wedding guests. Presentation is of excellent quality. All dessert items arrived to wedding site with no issues and allowed for bride and groom to rest prior to wedding ceremony. We should have ordered more desserts. Highly recommend Kellie. Kellie from Palette Cakes is just a phenomenal person both inside and out. I absolutely love her! The moment I saw her cakes on Pinterest and other wedding sites (specifically Park Winters), I immediately knew I wanted Kellie to make my wedding cake/dessert bar. Kellie is so patient and understanding. I was having a lot of changes with my guest count and I was also struggling with whether or not I wanted to invest more in a dessert table because we were really tight on our budget (I had already confirmed a cake with Kellie). I shared this info with Kellie and she worked up a beautiful dessert table within my budget. For someone who has a major sweet tooth, I was overwhelmed that she was so accommodating and willing to make sure my vision came to life, no matter how small that vision was. I emailed her a lot because of the number of guests changing and she made sure to change the amount of desserts we had so we wouldn't have too much or too little for our guests. I loved working with her and will be ordering many more desserts from Kellie in the further.

When it comes to making cakes, Kellie is the best person for the job. She is one talented artist. My husband and I hired Kellie for our wedding cake and let me tell you she totally created our dream wedding cake. She is so talented at what she does and the cakes are so delicious. Reggie and I didn't order the usual white wedding cake, and we got an amazing looking cake that definitely got our guests attention. Our cake was colorful and fun, incorporating our night sky theme with a lot of vibrant colors and contrasts. We also ordered cookies and they were cleaned out by the end of the night. The moon-phases themed cookies looked super cool, and the chocolate chip was delicious. She was also really accommodating with gluten-free options for one of the groom's mom. We had a lot of fun with our wedding and it seemed like she had a lot of fun with our theme :)

Booking Kellie for our wedding was the greatest thing we could have done! Not only is she INSANELY talented, and her cakes are delicioussss, but she's such a good friend and was super supportive during my planning process. We had Kellie create a 2 flavor cake, cupcakes, painted cookies, and sooo many more things on our dessert table. Truthfully, when I started planning my wedding, some things seems simply out of reach; never did I think my dream wedding cake would be a reality. Kellie, Kellie, Kellie. Another vendor I probably drove crazy. To be honest, my cake wasn't on my priority list. I didn't think it was important to have a cake. I figured some cut up sheet cakes would do. No one actually likes wedding cake, right?? Ah, no. I was really wrong. The detail that came to life with my cake is something I will never forget. It was truly one of the centerpieces of my wedding. Kellie is an artist. My wedding cake was absolutely stunning, and something I cherish to this day. It tasted amazing AND it looked amazing. A combo that I thought did not exist. Kellie, thank you for everything!

Kellie did an absolutely PERFECT and gorgeous job on our wedding cake. She made our cake for our fall wedding in the woods, and she truly captured everything I wanted in my wedding cake. It was moody, whimsical, different and absolutely delicious. It was a showstopper, and what she created was out of this world. Our wedding cake was a beautifully painted "galaxy" cake with the most incredible white rose sugar flowers and eucalyptus. Her sugar flowers are her signature, and they are amazing. No one could believe they weren't real flowers. And the flavors! We went for white chocolate blackberry pear and cinnamon pistachio and they were SO good. Her cakes truly are works of art. On top of that, Kellie is so sweet, easy to work with, and truly cares so much for her clients and their special days. She is the BEST of the best, and you should look no further for your wedding cake than Palette Cakes.

We just had our wedding this past Saturday and Kelly made our cake and desserts. Her cake is pure art work and is super delicious. The desserts was amazing too she is also a very nice lady. Can I have another wedding just to have her cake please. I will probably have her make us a mini cake on our wedding anniversary. Thats how much we loved it.

Kellie did the most amazing job creating a wedding cake for us. Her attention to all the details from the beginning of the process all the way through to the delivery of the cake was so wonderful!!! Kellie was willing to tailor the flavors to our liking, and they were all delicious (red velvet, carrot cake, and vanilla with pistachio). The cakes were so flavorful and moist!! They even tasted good a few days later when I couldn't help myself from having more. The decorations were also absolutely gorgeous. Kellie's artistry was evident in the beautiful hand piped floral details on two of the tiers of our cake, as well as handmade sugar flowers. Kellie's desire to help create the perfect cake for your wedding is amazing. She truly made me feel like my cake was a unique creation. I could not recommend Palette cakes more!

The owner of Palette Cakes, Kellie, is the most talented pastry artist I have ever seen. Her work with sugar flowers is absolutely STUNNING and her cakes and cookies are delicious! I had the pleasure of having her make my cake and cookie table for my wedding last month, and I could not be happier with how everything turned out. I would 100% RECOMMEND Palette Cakes and will definitely use her again for future needs! To start, Kellie's creations are breathtaking. At our wedding, everyone (both guests and staff) were just raving about how beautiful her cake was. She matched the cake to our theme and florals perfectly. Her sugar flowers are so beautiful, you literally cannot tell that the flowers are edible. It's crazy how perfect and realistic they are. She is also an incredibly talented painter, and she can create beautiful painted or piped displays on your cake or cookies if that's more your style. On top of that, her cakes and cookies are so good. We went with a chocolate cake with hazelnut frosting as well as a spiced pecan cake with whiskey buttercream and both were so moist and flavorful. They were probably the best cakes I have ever tasted. They had the perfect amount of cake to frosting and tasted so fresh. We also had the tripple chocolate fudge cookies with Oreo as well as chocolate covered shortbread. We ordered enough cake for 80 slices + over 100 cookies for a 50 person wedding. We had literally no leftovers because everything was just that good. Most people had 2 slices of cake and took home a baggie of cookies. Kellie is also very professional and easy to work with. She was really easy to schedule a tasting with and was really helpful during the entire process. She took what we were envisioning, provided some great suggestions and came back to us with a sketch capturing exactly what we were hoping for. She listens to her customers, but also providers her expert insight and opinions which will take her idea to the next level. On the day of your event, she delivers and sets-up all the desserts for you so that she can make sure everything looks perfect. Overall, I am so pleased with my experience with Palette Cakes. I will wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone I know looking for a cake or dessert catering for any event. Trust me, you will not regret it if you go with her!

Kellie was awesome to work with. She listened to everything we were looking for out of our cake. She sent us back and forth a few visual mockups as we tweaked things to the final design. Our tasting with her was super tasty and we had a hard time deciding which flavors to go with! The final cake came out beautiful......she is amazing at making the sugar flowers. Even when standing right in front of the cake and looking closely, they still look like real flowers! Highly recommended because of her talent and she's super SWEET too ;)

We had our wedding yesterday and the desserts were amazing, all the guest cleaned it up! Kellie is so sweet literally! She made the process so easy! The desserts were amazing. She was a pleasure to work with and flexible with any budget. She was willing to meet us at our place for the tasting and we were able to break down what we wanted to put on our dessert table. She had so many options for desserts and the wedding cake. We opted for a smaller cutting cake and a full dessert table and she did a great job! Thank you Kellie!

Kellie at Palette Cakes is amazing. She sacrificed time and energy to drive 6 hours to deliver her beautiful cake and we were to thankful she did. The cake turned out exactly how we wanted it with beautiful intricate sugar flowers and lace frosting detail. Everyone was blown away with how beautiful the cake looked. It was also very delicious and all of our guests were raving about how much they loved it. We were very happy with our decision to have Palette Cakes as a part of our wedding and we are looking forward to the complimentary cake top for our first year anniversary!

My wedding was 4 days ago and our cutting cake and cupcakes were made by Kellie. I really cannot say a negative thing about the whole experience. She is a pleasure to work with and seemed genuinely invested in our wedding experience, even going so far as to ask for pictures of the lace from my dress so she could do her best to replicate it on the cake design. The cake and cupcakes came out absolutely delicious, and I heard many compliments throughout the night about how amazing it was, and saw several guests go back for seconds. I would also like to give a special shout-out to that strawberry cake, which was absolutely to die for, one of my bridesmaids described it as "an orgasm in every bite" (hopefully that is not too lewd to put in a review, but it's true.)

Kelly is both professional and heartfelt. She really listened to our needs and executed the final product, exceeding our expectations. Not only did she create the best tasting cake (three flavors) we've ever had, the artistic touch she brings to the table is gold-medal standard. She delivered, as promised and her prices are much more competitive than any other baker in the Bay Area. You will not receive this quality of service and product anywhere else.

Kelly was very sweet and accommodating with helping us to realize our vision of our cake! We chose California native flowers for our design, which our guests thought were real until they discovered how delicious they were! I would recommend Palatte Cakes for anyone who wants a beautiful, unique and delicious cake for their wedding!
