When I asked my husband his favorite part of the wedding, he said, and I am not exaggerating, "getting my hair and makeup done by Nicole." Not the marriage, not the family, not me, his breathtaking wife, nope—his first time getting hair and makeup and realizing just how good you can feel when it's done to your preferences and comfort level. True story. Nicole and her team styled me, my husband, and a big party of 12 moms, sisters, and friends. By the end, I think everyone local asked for Nicole's number so they could use Palla Beauty again. I'm a particular person, but also someone who doesn't know a ton about hair and makeup—a real doozy of a combo to work with, huh? Nicole asked questions along the way to understand my style and preferences. I genuinely had no notes for my final looks. I felt beautiful and my hair and makeup held through hot summer heat. Nicole and her team did an amazing job on my wedding day!! I did a trial with Nicole and loved her work. I had a few notes after the trial and she took them all seamlessly. She's easygoing, super detailed, and amazing at what she does. On my wedding day, she was calm (despite a change of venue for getting ready) and willing to do whatever was needed to help out. She and her team were perfectly on schedule. We were never rushed and everyone left their chairs happy. Could not recommend her more!!

I made the absolute best decision choosing Nicole to do my hair and make up for my elopement. Coming in to New York from overseas, I didn’t have time for a trial but I felt so at ease with Nicole and her understanding of the look I wanted. From the moment we started working together, she was so responsive and helpful with preparation tips. She was also very punctual and just made the whole process so seamless and enjoyable. Most importantly though, she made me feel like the most beautiful woman and so comfortable in my hair and makeup on the best day of my life so far. I would go back to her again and again and would recommend her to anyone looking to get their hair and make up done in New York!

Working with Nicole was exceptional start to finish. It wasn't just that she gave me the exact natural look that I was hoping for, or that my updo stayed in all night even with dancing and karaoke. It wasn't even that my cousin's hair, which has never held a curl in it's life was perfect until she showered the next day -- it was all that compounded with the fact that she was fun to hang out with while we were getting ready, helping make the whole day feel fun, relaxed and special from the get go. I can't recommend working with Nicole highly enough!

Reaching out to vendors and planning your own wedding can feel really intimidating at times, but Nicole was a sheer pleasure to work with from our initial email all the way through to the end. Nicole was always kind, accommodating, and understanding, so I never felt judged for any of my questions or requests. She seriously has the gentlest, most precise hands and is incredibly talented at both hair and makeup (but so humble and down to earth too!). My mom and I were lucky to have her on the wedding day, and both of us agreed we'd never felt more beautiful. Additionally, Nicole brought such a calm energy to the wedding day and was fun to chat with (which was so appreciated on the morning of such a busy/nerve wracking day). Most amazing makeup artist ever! Nicole was friendly, extremely talented, and professional. We had six bridesmaids and two moms. She had a staff of three join her for both hair and makeup. Her timing was impeccable. Her staff was great! Our makeup?hair looked fabulous The entire time! By the time we were done preparing, we felt like Nicole was part of our family!

Let me start off by saying I LOVED MY WEDDING DAY HAIR! Hair can be a scary thing for me, as I have always had very thick and stubborn hair and often hairstylist are intimidated or make weird comments as they're working on my hair :( Not Nicole though. She celebrated my hair and went into it with excitement! Working with Nicole was a relief. As a wedding/event planner myself, the logistics and details of my day/morning were very important to me. Nicole was patient with my ever evolving mood board changes, made great suggestions and asked all of the right questions. She was great with coordinating with our makeup artists, scheduling everything with enough buffer time to make sure the wedding party had time to eat a lunch! After listening to my hair style ideas, we eventually narrowed down on a middle part with Hollywood waves to compliment my wavey wedding dress. I would absolutely recommend Palla Beauty if you’re looking for a sweet human being who also does a 5 star job on your wedding day hairstyle.

I truly could not have asked for a better hair and makeup artist for my wedding day! Palla Beauty had one of the more diverse portfolios out of the HMU vendors I saw, which was really important to me since the majority of my family/bridal party are of Asian descent. Nicole and her team absolutely hit it out of the park with myself and my bridal party. She was also so responsive throughout the process and accommodating of my multiple requests. I had decided about a month before my wedding that I had wanted a look that was slightly more “glam” than our first trial, and Nicole absolutely perfected it without sacrificing the natural aspect of her style/overdoing it. It was the perfect amount of glam and natural for myself and all my bridesmaids. Nicole’s calm and professional demeanor was also exactly what I needed on my wedding day—I was running a tad late for my hair and makeup on my wedding day, and she didn’t bat an eye. In fact she kept me so calm while I was internally stressing about running behind schedule, all while styling my hair and applying my makeup into the exact wedding look I wanted. My bridal party were absolute knockouts and we received so many compliments. Palla Beauty was absolutely perfect and I recommend 1000 percent!

I hired Nicole for my own hair and makeup on my wedding day, my five bridesmaids, my MIL, and my mother - and easily it was the best hair and makeup experience ever! Everyone could not stop raving about the job Nicole and her team did. I genuinely felt stunning and couldn’t have asked for a better communicator. Working with Nicole was such a pleasure! While planning my wedding, I did some research on hair & makeup artists in my area and loved Palla's Instagram and the work Nicole does. I wasn't sure if I would need to do a separate hair stylist, but Nicole does it all (and does it wonderfully!) Once I got started, Nicole sent me all the information I needed on pricing, scheduling a trial, and prepping. The trial was super helpful, since I was a beginner at all this, and Nicole walked me through everything and asked me questions about my preferences throughout the process. After the trial, I wasn't completely sure I liked some of the products used, but Nicole was extremely receptive and we updated my look before the big day. Day of, Nicole and her teammate, Katie, arrived on time and ready to go. They were so fun to spend the morning with and taught all of us makeup-novices about cosmetics as they worked. We also loved our hair! Makeup gets a lot of attention, but the work she does with hair was superb. She also answered all my questions about services for my bridesmaid and mother-in-law. My sister and MIL are both Asian, and I know my sister specifically struggles with makeup - so I wanted to make sure they would feel beautiful. Nicole eased my concerns and my family ended up so happy with their looks! Overall, a great experience would recommend 100% :)

Nicole and her team are phenomenal! They were so professional and made everyone look absolutely beautiful but also very natural. As the bride, I felt like I looked like myself still, which was very important to me, but just elevated. And my hair was exactly how I wanted it. My bridesmaids had a variety of hair types and they did all of their hair no problem! I would highly recommend Nicole for any of your makeup/hair needs. She’s perfect!

I would highly recommend hiring Palla Beauty for your big day! There is always a level of bias from every bride - that their big day was the best and that the vendors that they hired were the best. But I'm not lying when I say that Palla Beauty was the BEST. Nicole from Palla Beauty was amazing to work with! Palla Beauty is a full bridal hair and makeup company, but I only worked with Nicole for bridal hair because I had already booked my bridal makeup artist prior to connecting with Nicole. For my bridal hair, I decided to do the Hollywood Glam Waves. The style seems really simple to me, but little did I know the technique to get the waves to be in unison is very difficult to achieve. I had 4 failed hair trials with different hair stylists before I miraculously came across Palla Beauty and Nicole. Nicole is very talented in hair and beauty. She's really great to work with. She's also patient and would work with you to tweak this and that to make sure that you are happy with your look. Nicole did my bridal hair, my mom's hair, and three bridesmaids. We all loved the way our hair turned out. We all felt so beautiful on the big day! Nicole was very professional in how she conducts her business. There is an online portal to house important information, contract, etc. for clear communication. I love that she's organized, and there is dedicated space for me to share my asks, questions, bridal hair inspo pics, and more. Not to mention, Nicole is such a sweet person. I, honestly, felt like she's one of my girlfriends, just being there to hang out with me and doing my hair on my big day. She was reachable via text when I had random questions about hair extensions or how to prep my hair; she provides detailed instructions for hair prepping to ensure the best results. She also went out of her way a couple of times to do my hair for my Bridal Shower. She would leave and come back to touch up my hair on the big day. I'm unsure if this is a standard service that she has, but I definitely really appreciated the level of service. 1000% - every bride should work with Palla Beauty and Nicole!

Nicole is amazing!!!! Nicole made me look and feel like the most beautiful version of myself on my wedding day! Leading up to the wedding, she was communicative, professional, responsive, and helpful. On the wedding day, she was a source of calm and made me feel so comfortable and relaxed! She also brought an amazing team to help style my 8 bridesmaids. She worked with me to make sure my hair and make up was exactly as I wanted. Despite my sweat level being a 10 by the end of the night (lots of jumping on the dance floor), my make-up remained in place!!! I'll be recommending Nicole to all my friends!

If you looking for a makeup artist who offers a perfect " natural" " no makeup" look don't look any farther . Nicole and Julie were the best !!! They took such good care of me and my family. My hair and makeup were done so perfectly . They took the time out to combine foundations to make our skin look flawlessly. Nicole had the most patience with me after changing my mind several times . When looking for a hair and make up artist, I was really looking for someone who embraces a more natural look. I happened to find Nicole and knew I had to book her. We did my trial the day of my bridal shower at my aunts house. Nicole asked all the right questions and made me feel so confident in my choice. The day of the wedding, we made some adjustments to my make up and kept the hair the same. Let me tell you I couldn’t have been happier! The moms and the bridal party all looked beautiful and no one was over the top. Exactly what I wanted! Working with Nicole was like working with a friend. I would have trusted her with any decision. I’m so happy with how everything came out for my wedding. She made me look and feel beautiful!

I couldn’t possible say enough good things about Nicole and Palla Beauty! I hired Palla Beauty for bridal and bridal party hair and it was one of my best decisions. I had 2 looks (a simple low up do and curls for reception) that Nicole executed perfectly! From the trial to day of wedding she was always happy to hear feedback and talk through exactly what I was looking for. My bridesmaids hair (done by both Nicole and the assistant she brought with her) also all came out beautiful, they were stunning! People are still talking about my MOH’s pony look. Nicole was fabulous! She did my hair and makeup for my wedding as well as my engagement shoot and I was so happy with both. What I loved about Nicole besides her being super sweet was that she made me look natural just bringing out my own features. I was worried I would look cakey or overdone getting my makeup done, but she made me look like a model!! I also loved my hair and I know my sisters loved their looks by Nicole as well. Nicole was incredible! I hired her for my wedding hair and makeup, my mother and sister’s makeup, to stay on for touch ups and transition to a second look for the reception. Nicole absolutely exceeded my expectations. She was so kind and I was so comfortable with her. She followed my inspiration pictures (braid crown) exactly and it made me feel so glamorous. I received so many compliments on my hair. She also did my MIL's hair, which is very coarse and curly, and she did a wonderful job with her's (which was just defining the curls and making them soft and full). Nicole has a wide array of skills and I cannot recommend her enough!

I found Nicole pre-COVID and had to postpone my wedding. Nicole was communicative with me through the entire process (about 2 years!). I ended up booking Nicole for my bridal hair/makeup (with trial) and hair/makeup for my bridal party. The trial was great and Nicole helped me find the right color palette and hairstyle that worked for me and my veil! Everything was clean, Nicole told me what she was doing as she did it (which I really appreciated!) On wedding day, Nicole and her team were prompt. The schedule of hair/makeup was all planned out really well and We were all done well before the ceremony in time for photos. All my bridesmaids looked beautiful! And my mom enjoyed her hair/makeup session too. Nicole also provided a lovely touch up kit for me along with the exact lipstick she used on me which was so helpful through the night of greeting guests, eating, and dancing! I highly recommend Nicole, she’s a professional and I would hire her again in a heartbeat!

I booked Nicole to do hair and makeup for my engagement photos and wedding photos. She was absolutely lovely to work with and did a fantastic job! She made me look stunning for both engagement and wedding day pictures and the look was natural like I wanted. Nicole was an absolutely amazing addition to our wedding from the very beginning. She worked around my schedule to fit my make up trial the morning of my shower (so I could go to my bridal shower feeling amazing!) and while my make up was pretty close to perfect that morning already, she took into close considerations any little edits I wanted for the day of. The morning of my wedding Nicole and her assistant were on time and prepared. Not only did every single bridesmaid look absolutely beautiful, but they were so much fun to hang out with the entire morning. It is such a stressful day and it is so important to have good people around you. It was important for me to look natural and not over done, and Nicole nailed it. I'm not sure how she managed to make me look natural, like the best version of myself, and yet still have the makeup last the entire day and night but she did it. I even had a huge bruise on my back from a chiropractor appointment that I was panicking about, and Nicole found a way to cover it. She is amazing and I truly can't recommend her enough. Book Nicole and you will have one less thing to worry about the day of your wedding!

Nicole is professional, sincere and caring. She listens to what you have in mind and will also make suggestions if needed. She is meticulous with her work and it shows in the outstanding results! Nicole has done blowouts for me and I can't stress enough, what a fabulous job she does. There is a talent to doing a blowout that lasts for days.
