Nicole is a true professional and also extremely kind and understanding. I really wanted to book hair and makeup ideally from the same company so that it would make coordinating schedules on the wedding morning easier, and so many people told me that it was better to book separate people for each specialty. I am so glad I didn’t listen, because Nicole can truly do it all perfectly. She is very reasonably priced and traveled to me for my trial in April and did a great job.
After I had some time to review the photos and videos from the trial, I sent her an email with some notes about some changes I'd like. Nicole took all of my post-trial notes to heart and delivered an absolutely amazing result on the big day. There wasn’t a single thing about my hairstyle or makeup that I would have changed. I felt like a beautiful bride and I looked exactly how I always dreamed I would look on my wedding day.
I did not have a large bridal party, so the people who needed hair & makeup services were just myself, my mom, my sister-in-law as my Matron of Honor, and my 4-year-old niece as my Flower Girl. Nicole’s colleagues Marissa (for makeup) and Julie (for hair) were the sweetest and so very talented. They made my mom and my SIL so happy with their final looks and they made my little niece feel like a princess. They were so sweet with her and it was so lovely to see that. Instead of feeling jittery and nervous on the morning of the wedding I truly felt relaxed and like I was among friends. Highly recommend!!

I booked a trial a few months before my wedding and Nicole kindly traveled to my apartment in Brooklyn. She’s very open to feedback and inspiration photos and after a few minor tweaks with the makeup, I felt 100% confident about my hair and makeup for the wedding events. She was very easy to communicate with and a lot of fun to work with. It felt like getting ready with a friend, who just happens to be REALLY talented at hair and makeup! She completely nailed my welcome party and wedding day looks— I couldn’t be happier and multiple guests told me they loved my looks and that I still looked like me. From my trial through the wedding day, she listened to every concern I had and made me feel completely at ease. She helped guide me through decisions, gave thoughtful input, and somehow managed to calm all of my nerves throughout the process.
I also had Nicole stay throughout the day for touch-ups, and she was amazing. She worked seamlessly with all of our other vendors, jumped in wherever needed, and was such a wonderful person to have around.

Our makeup trial couldn’t have been easier; Nicole “got” me and the look I was going for in an instant. Then, just a month or so before the wedding, I realized I needed her for my hair too. I never expected or even asked for a second trial but Nicole insisted. She made time to come to my apartment the very next week, whipped my hair up into multiple updos to see what fit, and sent me into my wedding day feeling completely confident that I’d look and feel my best.
On the wedding day itself, Nicole and Raisa arrived right on time with everything they needed, including lighting and tables. A picture of preparedness. There was zero stress, zero scrambling, just pure joy and excitement while getting ready.
Nicole is the definition of poised, which is exactly the energy you want around you when wedding-day stress starts to creep in. She is patient beyond measure, prepared beyond belief.

Traveling to my Brooklyn apartment to do a trail I immediately knew Nicole GOT ME. Not only did she execute the “clean girl / Hailey Bieber” aesthetic that I wanted perfectly. It was also very important for me to feel comfortable and like the person I was going to be spending 3+ hours with on the day of the wedding. She was a recent bride as well so she could empathize with how I was feeling. She didn’t disappoint my 12+ bridesmaids, mother and mother in law all LOVED their makeup and they created such a chill, fun, and easy going morning for us that was so important for me and my anxiety :)
After the trial and in the months leading up we continued to email consistently about questions or little changes, additionally she gifted some of the lip items I wore the day of which was so kind and special. I’ve truthly NEVER liked professional makeup I’ve had done and I was over the moon with the outcome as was every single one of my girlfriends - including my mother and mother in law who are the toughest of critics :).
I cannot recommend Nicole and her team enough, I absolutely will be looking for more excuses to get my hair and make up down the road and use her services!!!

She seriously has the gentlest, most precise hands and is incredibly talented at both hair and makeup (but so humble and down to earth too!). My mom and I were lucky to have her on the wedding day, and both of us agreed we'd never felt more beautiful. Additionally, Nicole brought such a calm energy to the wedding day and was fun to chat with (which was so appreciated on the morning of such a busy/nerve wracking day). Working with Nicole was a relief. As a wedding/event planner myself, the logistics and details of my day/morning were very important to me. Nicole was patient with my ever evolving mood board changes, made great suggestions and asked all of the right questions. She was great with coordinating with our makeup artists, scheduling everything with enough buffer time to make sure the wedding party had time to eat a lunch! After listening to my hair style ideas, we eventually narrowed down on a middle part with Hollywood waves to compliment my wavey wedding dress.
I would absolutely recommend Palla Beauty if you’re looking for a sweet human being who also does a 5 star job on your wedding day hairstyle.

She was also so responsive throughout the process and accommodating of my multiple requests. I had decided about a month before my wedding that I had wanted a look that was slightly more “glam” than our first trial, and Nicole absolutely perfected it without sacrificing the natural aspect of her style/overdoing it. It was the perfect amount of glam and natural for myself and all my bridesmaids. Nicole’s calm and professional demeanor was also exactly what I needed on my wedding day—I was running a tad late for my hair and makeup on my wedding day, and she didn’t bat an eye. In fact she kept me so calm while I was internally stressing about running behind schedule, all while styling my hair and applying my makeup into the exact wedding look I wanted. My bridal party were absolute knockouts and we received so many compliments. Palla Beauty was absolutely perfect and I recommend 1000 percent!
