During my 1:1 bridal photos, Tonya lightened the mood and made me laugh when my nerves started to kick in. They delivered both artistically and a sufficient image, most of our home is decorated with photos from Tonya on our wedding day! They are a piece of art! I also included an engagement shoot in my package, and I am so happy I did. Since I love props and holidays, Tonya was able to incorporate a Valentine's Day theme into our engagement shoot and a Christmas theme with mistletoe into our bridal party shots on my wedding day. (We were married December 17.) Let me also add that when Tonya incorporates a theme or a prop, it is tasteful and not cheesy! On my wedding day, I was most impressed with how Tonya and her team were very on schedule. You hear nightmares of brides running late, however, Tonya was very involved in my wedding day timeline and she was able to capture every moment on schedule. Being on schedule results in a relaxing and stress-free day for a bride. I loved Tonya's assistant. Tonya was on site on my wedding day with an additional photographer and an assistant. Her assistant was the most organized and efficient person I ever met - again, this is great news for a bride to stay on schedule! Her assistant even surprised with me a Facebook Live video on the Palm Beach Photography Facebook page! Since I did not have a videographer and only invested in photography, this was a nice surprise. On my wedding day, Tonya and her team had to visit three site locations - the hotel, the church, and the reception location. They were able to be a part of all three sites and capture all of the special moments. Thanks to Tonya, I have hundreds of wedding photos my husband and I will cherish forever. We ordered some of the photographs through Tonya's website, and they are amazing quality. The photos you order through her site are absolutely professional. Now we are working on the wedding album that was part of my wedding package. I am so excited with how it is turning out and can't wait to receive the physical album. Now that Tonya and I have worked together for two years now, we can easily collaborate on the album drafts, and Tonya very quickly interpreted my vision for the album, and knew which photos I wanted! Our wedding photos capture so many wonderful emotions and expressions that it just makes me happy looking at all of them. With that in mind: the vendors you choose are crucial, since they can either help or cause more stress… Tonya is the photographer to choose if you want to have a relaxed, fun day and be able to enjoy every moment! They captured what words cannot describe, made the event timeless, gave great advice from the start, and had such quick turn around time in getting us the pictures. Tonya was very easy to reach at anytime and answered my every question, while calming my every apprehension that I had prior to our big day. We could not have been happier with how easy, laidback and collected she and her team were to work with. I consider myself a pretty creative person, so I was definitely looking for this in a photographer as well. They blew me away with unique, gorgeous photos: from my dress on the pier, our rings positioned perfectly with shells (all props they brought – they were SO on top of things!), our “First NON-Look,” our beach ball exit from the ceremony, my Dad and I’s dance, the Sparkler Send-Off… the list goes on and on. Sparkler photos are difficult; I’ve had many friends who have had a Sparkler Send-Off and were so disappointed with their photos. A lot of this had to do with the time line, and their photographers had them doing the Sparkler Send-Off during the day! I am extremely thankful that Tonya and her team knew exactly what they were doing with the time line, not only for the sparklers, but other photos taken on the beach, which needed an exact time of day for the perfect lighting for the perfect photo. A HUGE shout out is necessary for coordinating all of the time line, minute by minute, for the entire day – it was all taken care of for me. She kept us on schedule 100% of the day! She prompted us for family photos, group photos, friend photos and everything in between so that all of our greatest moments through the day were captured. They even went above and beyond to keep both myself and the Groom cool with fans and refrigerated towels whenever needed - and that was needed constantly in the heat and dress I was wearing! I am forever grateful for them on that day! I appreciate that they were always open to my ideas (rings on the date of the newspaper, a “First NON-Look,” the beach balls). I also appreciate that she would ask us what WE wanted. I felt in control, but in great hands at the same time. And that’s a very good feeling to have in your photographer. Numerous guests at my wedding commented on how my photographers were all over the place, taking pictures of everyone, made the photos fun and were able to catch the happy moments that happened throughout the entire day. I will forever be able to remember how wonderful and precious that day was by just looking through my photos with all the memories captured perfectly. ne call with her, I knew we found the person to capture our special day. Tonya spent time on the front end to get to know us, our style, and what we wanted in our wedding images. From a planning perspective she was well organized (HUGE plus for me since our wedding coordinator from our hotel was inexperienced) and created timelines for everyone in the wedding party and for the reception! She was my most trusted advisor when it came to my wedding day, always giving great feedback on everything from our décor to picture locations; Tonya was very much my lifeline throughout my planning process and I cannot thank her enough for her support!! All of that aside, where Tonya truly shines is in her photography skills. She beautifully captured every moment from our first look to our last dance. She made my husband and I, who are both uncomfortable being the center of attention, completely at ease. Her warm and caring nature coupled with friendly and fun attitude made the hours of photography before the wedding ceremony such a great experience!! She accommodated all of my family’s needs with such grace & charm, from my elderly grandparents to rambunctious nieces, and it all just came so naturally to Tonya; she is truly amazing!! Lastly, Tonya has shot weddings at our venue both prior to our wedding and recently following our wedding, and I think what sets her apart is her ability to capture each couple & each wedding’s unique spirit and style. There were no cookie-cutter images; I can’t find one image of my husband and I that used the same poses, setting, or style as any other wedding she had shot there. It’s truly remarkable! We had a more laid back, simple beach wedding and although she captured all of the little details that we as brides spend hours working on, she really focused on the smiles and laughs of our friends and family. Her attention was on the people who really make the memories, and I LOVED that about her! They took photos of my hubby and his groomsmen while the girls got their makeup and hair done and then photos of us once we were all dolled up. They took the time to go around and take photos of all the beautiful details of the wedding which I also really appreciated. I am usually the one holding a camera at any event and I take a lot of photos! ha so I didn't know what we would have and if I would feel like they captured everything. when I got the photos from the wedding I was so pleased. they captured everything! All the emotions from our guests and from my husband and I. They even caught a very special moment I shared with my mother in law and grandma in law. I was so pleased to see that moment captured and couldn't believe that they were there to capture it. They didn't make us pose throughout the wedding which I also really appreciated. They let us enjoy the party and just captured all the beautiful moments naturally which made the pictures amazing. An extra step they did during the party was they got on a latter and took a picture of everyone dancing and cheering. such a cool shot to have. Overall great photographers! My mom cannot stop talking about how amazing all the photos are and how professional they were! Definitely no need to look any further if you are looking to hire a wedding photographer.

She and her assistant helped coordinate our pictures, keep us on schedule, and even carried a towel to wipe up our sweat from the South Florida heat in June. She is great to work with and has an easy to get along with personality. Within a couple days of our wedding she posted some teaser photos. They were amazing! We were anxiously awaiting all of the pictures. Our USB (which is the most gorgeous USB drive I have ever seen made of glass and etched with the company name) of the pictures recently arrived. My husband and I can't choose which pictures to hang up since there are so many wonderful shots. Everyone that sees our pictures says they look like they are from a magazine. I completely agree!! We loved the pictures so much we have just ordered a custom book. I can't wait to see what Tonya comes up with. There is no doubt it will be spectacular. Since Jessica's Aunt is a professional photographer we relied on her opinion of who would do the best job capturing Jessica and Matthew's Wedding Day. She looked over the photographs of 3 different professional photographers Jessica and Matt were considering, asked Jessica who she felt she was most comfortable with, and suggested to us that even though Palm Beach Photography was the most expensive of the 3, we would be very happy with the end result and that the beautiful professional pictures we would receive would be well worth the cost. She was absolutely correct! The pictures are fantastic! We are very pleased! The money was very well spent! I expected and was very affordable. Tonya Laker was easy to work with, easy to get in contact with and very professional. It's clear that she has done many weddings and has the process down to a science. She brought two assistants and everything went seamlessly. They all worked really hard and we could not be happier with the images we received. On your wedding day, the last place you want to cut costs is with your photographer. n’t even until I received my pictures after the wedding, that I realized while I was trying to get my act together and the venue decorated, that the photographer had already arrived and begun taking these beautiful pictures outside with my dress, the rings, the flowers…. I thought I was going to have to direct everything and this was something that hadn’t even crossed my mind to direct. So when I received my images and saw all these gorgeous pictures of very important weddings details, I realized I had no idea any of that was even being done. You can imagine how happy and grateful I was. To simply just show up and begin what needs to be done without creating more chaos is an AMAZING quality because, typically, vendors need more direction then you have time to give, especially if you do not have a wedding planner. What was also nice was the fact that I had so many wedding images to choose from. A friend of mine got married two months before me out of the area and when I compared images, I had double the amount she did. It was nice to see each and every moment that took place captured because, looking back now, the whole day was a whirlwind of things I wouldn’t have even remembered, if we did not have so many pictures in the end. I was one of the last of my group of friends to get married and so, I’ve seen a lot of the options out there with choosing wedding vendors and especially photography. I’m sort of grateful for that now because it enabled me to really make choices based on firsthand knowledge and I am so incredibly happy we chose Palm Beach Photography for such an important occasion!

Many of our friends had warned us that you spend so much time after the ceremony on pictures, that was hard to enjoy the day. Not with Tonya. our engagement shoot, Tanya drive over 20 miles for our engagement shoot in if-y weather conditions hoping the weather would hold up. It didn't, but she never hesitated to reschedule. Soon after the e-shoot, we dove into what we wanted for the wedding pictures, and she followed me every step of the way. When I thought all was set in stone, Tanya caught something I didn't. We needed an extra hour for pre-bridal. I am sooooo lucky she found this!! I really would have regretted not having those pictures! Of the teasers I've seen, every detail of her photography is perfect and amazing in every way. On a side note, my mom, aunt and myself, all wanted pictures for our Christmas cards, and Tanya took time away from everything else she was doing and was able to get those to me within a day of me asking.
