it was an experience. We had 80 guests who stayed at Palm island in February, it’s now October and everyone is still talking about it! I’ve had several people call after attending weddings through out the year at other venues just to say “ It was nice but it wasn’t Palm Island.”

vorite spot. It is impossible to know Palm Island is there unless you have plans to stay. You have to take a car ferry across the very short water way (2 minutes!) but as soon as you cross you're on an island paradise. This keeps the resort off the main drag and extremely private. The beach side (gulf side) is gorgeous with one of the best sunset views! The bay side has boat slips and great fishing opportunities. All of the condos have fantastic water views no matter which level of condo you purchase. We had our wedding here and it was the best day of my life! The staff was so accommodating and helpful! Kacey and Lisa worked to make sure everything was perfect for our day. I felt zero stress. We had about 100 people at our beach ceremony site and clubhouse courtyard reception. Both areas were walking distance (but I would recommend a golf cart as it adds to the experience) and so beautiful with the natural scenery. The venue was able to accommodate our 9 piece band that kept the party going until 10:00pm. I cannot say enough about how helpful and kind the staff were. We met our head bartender while eating dinner Thursday night and he took care of us all weekend. We also held our rehearsal dinner in the same location and again everything was taken care of by Kacey and his team. The food and drinks available at the island restaurant, Rum Bay, are delicious. They catered our wedding and rehearsal dinner as well and everything they provided was excellently cooked! I truly felt like my family, friends and I were the only ones on the island that weekend. My husband and I can't wait to go back for our 1 year anniversary!

enjoyed the wedding but also the resort. Most of them made it into a vacation. Everyone who works at this resort is friendly, patient and welcoming. I couldn't have dreamed of a better place to say I do. The island will forever be a special vacation spot for us.

Our guests couldn't stop raving about the property, the food, and the staff. Everything came together easily with the help of event coordinator Amy. We are already planning a trip back for our 1st anniversary!

d gorgeous sunsets! Food, drinks and staff are all incredible especially Amy and Lisa with event services. The resort is reasonably priced and even though it is a private island it is not pretentious in the slightest bit! Amy was so helpful and helped make my wedding day absurdly magical! The only downside is the 10pm reception cut off time which depending on the time of year and if you are planning a sunset wedding, may shorten your reception time. Other than that everything else was a complete fairy tale and I would advise any bride to host their wedding there as the location takes your event and transforms it into an unbelievable experience!!! My guests are still in a daze and cannot stop posting about it all over social media. They are completely obsessed!!! We will be returning for our anniversaries there for many years to come, Palm Island will always hold such a special place in my heart =]

ng but also wanted to stay away from the tourist filled beaches around the Tampa Bay area. After just one visit, we knew Palm Island Resort was the place. It is next door to Little Gasparilla Island and down the road from Boca Grande. Event Coordinator Amy Loy was super helpful throughout all our planning and the entire wedding couldn't have gone smoother. Two weeks later, I am still getting compliments with guests telling us it was the best wedding they'd attended. If you're looking for a unique beach wedding location, Palm Island Resort will not disappoint! We're looking forward to going back in the near future.

She helped us with a special menu including a craft beer, wine, cheese,Thai Carpaccio (which was Amazing), and rack of lamb. This is not the food found on the standard menu but we found out they have an amazing Thai Chef ! They gave us great pricing and helped us make our day perfect! Lisa still has our photo over her desk and we always stop in to say Hi on our visits. I'm helping a friend plan her 2015 wedding and I accidently posted under her log in on my computer. I truly hope she loves her vendors as much as we loved ours!

capacity of only 85 guests or so. It's all-inclusive and has plenty of activities for the day! The best part was that you could choose to stay active all day, or hang out on the beach in a hammock and relax under one of the many palm trees. As an added bonus the staff is tremendous!!! We will definitely be back for another visit as soon as possible!!!

When you depart from the car ferry or tie up at the docks, it’s an unmistakable feeling of relaxation as you approach Palm Island Resort. We chose Palm Island because we felt it would provide the ideal setting for romance, as well as a simple expression of love to our dearest friends and family…and it did just that. Our big day was everything we had envisioned and although our gorgeous backdrop played a huge part, the staff played just as big a role. Lisa and Justin, event coordinators, are amazing and made everything a breeze. They led a team that set up everything for our ceremony and reception…all we had to do is wait until it was time for the “I do’s!” We couldn’t have chosen a better local and are looking forward to returning to celebrate years of anniversaries in our found paradise, that just so happened to be in our back yard, but feels a million miles away!
