There are absolutely no words to express how amazing Sue is, and working with her made my wedding dreams come true. To start this off, I was born with 3 (not just 2) left feet, or...
that's how I felt walking into Sue's studio. My fiancé had a significant head start with his experience in formal dancing, so I was incredibly anxious, but then we met Sue. She made every single session perfectly customized to our specific needs and skill set, turning my three left feet into someone who put on a heck of a performance at my wedding! She made the entire dance fit our unique personalities, and as she got to know us, she incorporated more and more of our personalities into it. This made the dance feel authentic on the day of, even though we had been practicing it for months. Friends and family were genuinely impressed, not necessarily by our skill but by the perfect choreography that Sue put together.
Personality wise, Sue is an absolutely amazing person with the perfectly blend of charisma, intelligence, and a hint of sarcasm to keep the lessons light. She is overqualified for her position and her studio is absolutely gorgeous. My husband and I jokingly talk about how much we miss dance lessons and what we are going to learn next from her now that the wedding is behind us.
For those who's fiancé might be against the concept of going to dance lessons, Sue is a perfect fit. My (now) husband was so against the concept of a choreographed dance, but will admit that these lessons were hands down the best part of wedding planning. He went from saying, "We have to go to 9 lessons for this??" to, "We only have 9 lessons?!?"
Sincerely, if Sue can make my uncoordinated wedding dreams come true, I can only imagine what she will do for you!
15/10 stars, cannot recommend highly enough.

every session! Wedding planning can be stressful, but while we were in her studio, everything else just seemed to melt away and we left the lessons feeling lighter and happier! Totally recommend working with her!
We had the best time at Palmer Dance Studio preparing for our first dance for our wedding. My husband and I came in with zero experience, minimal coordination, and were basically w...
alking disasters, but by the end of our lessons, we were able to pull off a very memorable and wonderful first dance. The dance was not difficult to learn and included a dip (with a kiss), a lift, and there was even had a “trust fall” ending to our dance. We had a lot of fun during our lessons and we genuinely looked forward to attending lessons each week. There is no better place to take dance lessons and we couldn’t say enough good things about Palmer Dance Studio. We had the best experience!

rning our steps and creating our memorable first dance.
My husband was open to the idea of dance lessons and Susan made the experience a blast. She taught the dance steps in segments which made it very easy to learn and practice so we could master them.
We highly recommend Susan of Palmer Dance Studio, she is professional, on time, easy to work with and a whole lot of fun.
My husband and I wanted to “wow” our guests with a fun, first dance. We came to Palmer dance studio with zero dance experience. Susan not only helped us learn our wedding dance but...
also an ethnic dance & some dance moves for our reception. Much to our surprise, by the end of our lessons, Susan had us dancing confidently & having fun. Throughout our experience Susan was positive, encouraging, and knew exactly how to instruct us as beginners. I would definitely recommend Palmer dance studio for your first wedding dance or as a wonderful couples activity learning how to dance.

un. We enjoyed going on our little "dance dates" every week and getting better and better at our dance! You could see the excitement she had in choreographing the dance, which made it even more fun to do! It was an absolute hit at our wedding and everyone was super impressed. We so recommend her!

to our song. We both highly recommend Palmer Dance Studio for your wedding or just a fun time learning how to dance. A great experience for couples.
We had a great time with Susan and our first dance was fabulous!
Great instructor! Made learning to dance easy and fun!!
If anyone deserves a positive review, it's Susan! We went to Susan to learn a dance for our wedding. I had danced for many years in my childhood, but my (now) husband had no dance ...
experience and was incredibly nervous. Susan blew us away with the quality of the dance that she choreographed to fit our song. We did not believe we could pull it off at first, but with her patience and honest feedback over the course of 5 practices with her, we did it! Susan made us feel very comfortable and showed that she actually cared that we learned and performed well. We sent video updates to her between some classes and she provided helpful feedback based upon those videos. If you saw the difference between the video of our first dance practice and the video of our performance at our wedding, you would look nowhere else for your dance instructor!
Greg and I loved taking dance lessons with Susan! Neither of us had experience, and by the end of our lessons we felt like pros! We really impressed our guests with our first dance...
! We had a lot of fun, and would highly recommend taking lessons with Susan!

ve reviews, and I am happy to add my own positive experience! Sue helped us select a song that would best fit our abilities and developed a perfect routine to fit the song. We had input in what moves we thought worked best for us, and Sue was incredibly patient as we worked our way through the steps. We purchased 3 lessons initially but added 3 more to make sure we were comfortable with the steps. Sue was flexible and made time for us as our schedules were not regular each week. We genuinely had fun at each of our lessons! Having confidence to dance at our wedding and to other songs throughout the reception was worth the investment. And we can now dance at other events less hopelessly! Your first dance is on film (video and/or still) forever. It's absolutely worth the investment to look confident, comfortable and maybe even fabulous! 100 stars!

e and saw she had excellent reviews so we decided we would try it out. From our first session she was extremely accommodating and helped us learn at our own pace. She was very knowledgeable and patient and made all of our lessons fun. She also has a great personality and frequently kept us laughing throughout our sessions and never let us get discouraged when trying to figure out new sequences. We highly recommend her to anybody interested in learning ballroom dance styles!
My husband and I were definitely a little bit nervous going into the whole process of getting our first dance choreographed. Would we be able to learn the steps in time? Would it l...
ook natural? Would we make a fool of ourselves? Luckily, from the moment we met Susan, all of those issues were pushed aside and we were so pumped up before, during, and after every session. Time FLEW by. After our last lesson, I was so sad that it was over. Luckily, Susan offers private and group lessons so we can always go back for more! When it was time for the big moment, we were so ready and our guests loved every single minute of it. It inspired other engaged couples in attendance to make sure they choreograph their first dance as well. Susan was worth every single penny, and I highly recommend this service to any engaged couple. This was a memory that we absolute cherish. The videos and pictures were priceless, what a fantastic night! Thank you for your patience, sense of humor, and absolute dedication to making our dance personal to our individual needs. I am so happy with how it all turned out. 110% amazing dance teacher and wonderful human being.
