My name is Katie Cole, and I am the Founder/Head Planner at Palmetto River Planning. I have been planning weddings and events since 2021, but just decided to establish my own company late last year. I am trustworthy, honest, dedicated, and am known for paying close attention to detail. Katie truly went above and beyond. She provided all of our décor and florals, and even designed, made, and mailed our wedding invitations. Every detail was beautiful and perfectly reflected our vision.
On our wedding day, Katie and her team were amazing. They handled absolutely everything, allowing us to be fully present and enjoy every moment without worrying about a single detail. If anything went wrong behind the scenes, we honestly have no idea because they took care of it all seamlessly.
Just before our ceremony, an unexpected storm rolled in. Thankfully, Katie already had backup plans in place, so we never had to panic. Then, somehow, her "rain dance" must have worked because the rain stopped just as we were getting ready to move to the alternate ceremony location, and we were able to have our ceremony exactly where we had originally planned.
Our wedding day was absolutely perfect—truly even better than we could have imagined—and we owe so much of that to Katie and her team. We are beyond grateful for everything they did and couldn't recommend them more highly. If you're looking for a wedding planner who genuinely cares, thinks of every detail, and makes your dream wedding a reality, Katie is the one!

imagine. Any issue or complication that arose me and my husband had no clue about because it was handled so quickly/secretly. Katie and her team went above and beyond. From setting up, cleaning up, to driving me around in her car to keep the heat away she was so helpful in ways that were not even discussed before the big day. Her and her team were so kind and exceeded in every request I had. I could tell that this is so much more than a job for her and the genuine connection she made allowed us to be extremely comfortable on a day that is full of so many nerves. On the day of our wedding, when the rain forced us to move the ceremony indoors, Katie and Dlorah jumped into action to ensure everything still went perfectly. she even created us a very handy wedding booklet consisting of different schedules and details for various wedding members, like a separate guide for the bride/groom, for the wedding party, and for each vendor. On the day of the wedding, Katie took charge effortlessly and made sure everything was in place, while also actively responding to issues that arose. She really knows her stuff--from needing little guidance to decorate the space (pics include examples!) to being able to fix my makeup after first look-tears were shed, she was constantly on the ball! On top of being extraordinarily thorough and knowledgeable, Katie is also very kind--all of us grew very, very fond of Katie! I would recommend Katie to EVERYONE if I could!!!
