Hello & thank you for visiting my page! I photograph Love for a Living. I am the Storyteller. The Fly on the Wall. The Memory Keeper. I work for Tears of Joy & my goal is to become Your Family Photographer. I cannot think of a better way to spend my time & support my own family. I fell in love with photography in the late 80’s during my high school black & white photography class. I was given an assignment to photograph my best friend in the studio. Many shots later, my favorite photos were the candids…my best friend laughing, talking, rolling her eyes, and looking everywhere but the camera. I remember thinking, ‘Wow! That is truly her!’ Fast forward many years to today where I am known for my ability to capture The True You. From Family & Senior Portrait Sessions to Wedding Celebrations, capturing the natural, candid moments is what I enjoy most. Since I began shooting professionally, I have become good friends with many of my customers. My friendly nature combined with professional services & beautiful products, ensure a fun & memorable experience for everyone. Many of my customers call on me year after year to capture their family milestones. My loyal customers, along with their referrals, are what grow my business. I am beyond grateful for every one of them! I received a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Art with a concentration in Photography from Towson State University in October 1995. Two years later, I received a Certification in Biomedical Photography from The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. In August 1998, I began working as a Medical Photographer in the Department of Biomedical Communications at The George Washington University Medical Center. I was later promoted to Assistant Manager and remained in that position until June 2005. I am currently based in Harford County, MD & serve many of the surrounding areas. I am a mom, a photographer, & a nature lover!
