I was to preface this review by saying I am a classically trained musician. I was a music performance major so I have a very high standard when it comes to musicality and artistry....
Pamela Pamperin exceeded my expectations in her abilities as a musician.
Her repertoire is exceptional from classical to celtic to rock to movie themes, she can put together a ceremony to exactly fit your tastes and needs. We knew we didn't want a totally cookie cutter music selection and Pam didn't disappoint. A couple weeks before the wedding my husband decided he wanted to acknowledge my late father by walking down the aisle to a favorite song of his. He asked Pam if she knew any beach boys songs and she made it happen and in the same key as the song I walked down the aisle to so the transition was flawless.
After the ceremony she even stayed and played for the wedding party while we took pictures! Truly a special woman who clearly loves what she does. To summarize, give Pam a call. She'll help you construct the perfect music for your wedding.
We had Pam play for our ceremony and she was amazing! While she can play traditional harp music, we chose her for her unique use of 80's rock, Beatles, and other playful genres. Sh...
e's friendly, professional and an excellent harpist.
Pam added that special touch to our ceremony! She was absolutely amazing! I never knew a harp could sound like that! Thank you Pam! :)
My hubby and I booked Pamela to play during our wedding ceremony and social hour at the Grand Island Mansion.
Prior to booking, Pamela invited us over to her house to listen to s...
amples of music she could play. We immediately discovered that she has a very expansive list of music that she knows, is quite talented, and was eager to learn additional songs for our wedding.
During our planning, Pamela responded to emails promptly and always got back to me in less than 24 hours. She kept us informed about our music choices and bought sheet music for several songs that we asked for her to play. We learned that she also played the accordion so we decided to have her play the accordion during our social and dinner hour.
Our guests LOVED Pamela. She eagerly filled any harp requests from our guests. She added flare to our dinner by walking around the room playing the accordion. She played a special polka for me and my dad and 'On Wisconsin' for the father of the groom.
We had one snafu during our wedding. The bus company we hired arrived to our venue an hour late due to a mechanical issue. With the bus being late, the time we hired Pamela to play was closing in on us. As the bride, this caused a great deal of stress and worry. Pamela stayed by my side and kept me calm. She graciously stayed longer than the time commitment we agreed to and still played during our wedding ceremony, during the social time, and into dinner. Bottom line, Pamela stepped up and exceeded my expectations to ensure that my wedding day was special.
Pamela performed perfectly during my special event and I HIGHLY recommend Pamela to play at your special event.
I love Pam!!! Listening to her music online does NOT do her justice. Hear her play in person - so impressive. Her range of music genres is incredible! She's fun, talented, and uniq...

erything from Metallica to Jimmy Buffett. And she didn't use any music! We already booked her for our wedding next year.
Pamela was very easy to work with from start to finish. She gave a mini concert and helped us to decide on the ceremony music. Our wedding start 45 minutes late but no one notice...
d as they were enjoying Pamela's music. She threw in a few songs that you wouldn't expect to hear from a harpist which some guests enjoyed as they tried to guess the song. I definitely recommend Pamela if you are looking for a harpist.
Affordability; She didn't know any of the 'extra' music I wanted for the ceremony, so I was a bit stuck picking songs from her list. Also, she was supposed to play after the ceremo...
ny during pictures at the altar, but she and the flutist left after one song. I didn't notice since I was caught up in our moment.
Pamela was outstanding. She played beautifully and really made the ceremony perfect. She was able to play all the music we wanted. She was the perfect addition to the wedding.
