Pamplin Historical Park is a nationally acclaimed museum and historic site spread over 424 acres, packed with award-winning museums, living history venues, and historic trails. Our site can offer you something no other can, we can shoot off the cannon on your kiss to start your marriage with a bang! Our venues are perfect for engagement parties, bridal showers, wedding ceremonies, and receptions! Whether your wedding is a small, intimate affair, or large formal celebration, we can help! Depending on the venue we have options for events that range from twenty-five people up to three hundred people. Bring in your vendors, we will work with them and you, within our rental guidelines. Our venues include: The Hart Farm Our spacious Hart Farm is the perfect rustic setting for your event. surrounded by woods, this adorable gingerbread house and old-fashioned farm barn stand on fifty- nine acres of property. Though the original Hart House is not open to the public, the Hart Farm allows guests in the Barn and on the grounds. Tudor Hall Historic Tudor Hall dates back to 1810, with over an acre of property surrounding the home. Here in our white-fenced yard, you can have this house as your backdrop for your joyous day. The yard is surrounded by a reconstructed kitchen and laundry building and operating barn. The house and outside buildings can be open for your guests to explore! Museum, Banquet Room, Rotunda & our Demonstration area Contemporary settings mixed with woods may suit your indoor & outdoor desires. Perform your ceremony in front of or inside the Museum, provided with a wooded backdrop or contemporary aesthetic. With multiple overhead windows, turn the Rotunda into your moon-lit dance floor or reception space. While the banquet room is surrounded by woods, benefit from the comfort of an indoor space. The demonstration area is a wooded glen, theater in the round, perfect for your ceremony or cocktail hour. Education Center, Freedom Garden, and Picnic Pavillion Have your ceremony surrounded by a lush forest, sloped backdrop, and tiered steps in our Garden. With your decorations, our exposed wood beam rotunda will be draped exceptionally for your ceremony, reception, cocktail hour, or dance space. Your luscious treats and cocktails will invite your guests into the lobby of the Education Center, as they make their way into the reception just past the doors. Family and friends will love the Picnic Pavilion outdoor space for your reception.
