Dr. Pan and her ensemble are the most talented strings for hire I have ever seen. As a large music focused family, I knew I wanted strings in my ceremony. Pan Strings took the time to learn a new composed song that my brother in law wrote and performed it on my wedding day. They also played Your Song by Elton John while my friend sang. They set the romantic and intimate tone for the wedding. Dr. Pan was so easy to work with and their list of songs is insane. They can do anything and do it well! Highly, highly recommend Pan Strings for any event.

The Pan Quartet played for my daughter’s wedding yesterday. It was absolutely amazing! Organizing the play list, having all questions answered was seamless with Mrs. Amy. They arrived early, played beautifully and was well worth the price. They just made a beautiful day perfect.

If you can't find it on their list, then you don't need it! Communication is very important to me, especially when planning a wedding, and Amy was quick and professional in all of her responses. I'd enlisted the services of Pan String after getting engaged, and recognizing that I didn't want my soon-to-be wife to walk down the aisle to just some music on a speaker. I contacted and reserved the a quartet from Pan String for our wedding in March. Their performance was nothing short of exemplary, with many people commenting on their professionalism and skill. Our wedding was amazing, and our only regret in the end was that we didn't get a videographer, since she really wishes she was able to hear/see more of them.

They PERFECTLY set the mood for our ceremony!! Even had them play during our vow which really help with the nerves to not have radio silence in the small gaps in talking. Perfectly set the mood for the entire time they were there. They were also super easy to work with as well

I cannot recommend the Pan String Quartet/Trio more highly. This fabulous group performed at my wife’s and my wedding ceremony. Perhaps a bit different than many weddings, Anna and I are also deeply involved in the symphonic music happeninings year-round, and so it was very important to us to have a high quality group help emphasize our big day. The Pan String Quartet/Trio delivered. They’re professional, and supremely talented. Hire them for your event (whether it’s a wedding, cocktail party, or whatever!)

We hired Pan String for my wedding on July 10, 2021. They provided the processional and recessional music and it was incredible! Due to Covid, we had to reschedule our wedding and they were so responsive and easy to work with! Communication was seamless and organized, and their music was so beautiful and classy!

We had the Pan String Quartet for our wedding on 12/31/2020.

Wow! Pan String blew me away! They are very talented and professional. We booked a string trio for my wedding ceremony, and not only did they play beautifully, but Amy was super communicative and organized and easy to work with from the beginning of the planning process to the end. She had a call with me the week before my wedding to finalize the details and make sure they had everything squared away to help the day go smoothly and be sure it was what I wanted. They had so many songs in their repertoire to choose from, and although many of our selections were arranged for quartet, they modified and learned the arrangement for a trio to make it work for us. We were thrilled! We had some "modern" songs (How Sweet it is to be Loved by You) as well as some classical selections (Jesu Joy of Man's Desiring) and they played both styles flawlessly. Their total performance sounded like it could have been a recording! It was fabulous!! Best of all, they adapted well to unexpected delays and changes and delivered for us in every way. It started to rain 5 minutes before our *outdoor* ceremony was supposed to start (what luck, right?!) and they had already set up outside. We had a rain plan, but I really wanted to get married outside, and according to the radar, it was supposed to stop fairly soon, so we waited it out. Pan String moved into the covered building where guests were waiting, and after playing the prelude for guests, they just kept playing. It was like an extended prelude, until the ceremony started (some 15-20 minutes later than expected). It seemed as though we planned the whole thing that way! Guests were stunned by the high quality, beautiful string trio serenade they got. I could hear them from where I was "hiding" and it really was beautiful. I was so glad they were there. They weren't able to move back outside until the rain had completely stopped because their instruments couldn't get wet (which is understandable), but it was a bummer because it was much harder to hear them (they were further away from guests) so the ceremony music probably didn't have as much of an impact as we'd hoped. My husband and I were really proud of, and excited for, our ceremony song selections and we loved the ambiance it created for the ceremony. I regret not having a microphone for them for scenarios such as this! BUT THEN! At some point during our ceremony, they moved back outside! Once they saw the sun and no more rain drops falling, they set-up outside so they could at least play our recessional outside, where guests may have been able to hear better. No one asked them to do this-- they just cared that much, and gave their all for us as best they could. One note to future brides: I would recommend a microphone if you have an outdoor wedding, as it still wasn't super loud outside, but I knew that was a risk from the beginning. They encouraged me to have a microphone, but I decided against it (and shouldn't have.) Overall, I just have to thank Pan String for making my ceremony absolutely magical. Ceremony music was such a big decision for me, because the ceremony feeling special was what I was most anticipating from my wedding day. I could never imagine NOT having had them. I am SO glad I went with a string trio, and I will forever be happy and affirmed that I chose Pan String. Brides, book them! You won't be disappointed.

Dr Pan was great to work with for ceremony music at our wedding. He has a wide variety of selections to choose from and will learn a song if needed. He was the perfect choice for our outside ceremony and many guests remarked at how much they enjoyed the quartet. I'm so glad we went with Dr. Pan!

Amy was extremely professional for my wedding at Houmas House Plantation. She was super friendly, personable, and prompt in helping us with song selection and timing. Even so, she coordinated the group flawlessly, always with a smile. She also sought us out to say hi, and to talk to our friend who was officiating the ceremony.

My husband and I wanted beautiful string music to accompany our ceremony. Pan String was perfect! You can choose from 1 to 4 musicians. We went with 2 - a violin and a cello. They were wonderful to work with and have a very wide selection of music to choose from. If a particular song is not in their repertoire, they will learn it with 2 weeks advanced notice. Having their music really made our ceremony complete and complemented the beauty of our surroundings.
